I rented a lot for my trailer for 3 days. I was very clear with the host that all I needed it for was 3 days. The host continues charging my credit card for 7 months! I was charged over 700.00 for 3 days rental. When I contacted Neighbor, they refused to help me and asked for proof I had told the host I only needed it 3 days. I sent them screenshots and they still refused to refund my money
Someone called back to back to back 3 times right in a row while I was at an appointment…for this reason alone I wish to be removed from any and all lists and placed on your do not contact list. Super unprofessional and just downright rude.
Where to begin. I could right volumes about the dysfunction and ineptitude of Neighbor. Com. My most recent issue hosting with Neighbor. Com: they failed to vet a scammer named Felix Odhiambo that reserved a spot on my land for a month. On the very first day, Felix used his truck to destroy most of my driveway and also leave 2' deep ruts in the grassy areas. Then he left without reporting the severe damage. Did Neighbor help address the issue. Hell no. Rather than answer my messages promptly, they refunded the scammer, docked my payout by 70% (without notification to me) and waited a full week to finally respond, telling me they won't help one bit. I have so many horror stories with Neighbor. Com. If you're dumb enough to list with them, prepare for the onslaught of calls from their staff trying to force fit potential renters onto your space despite your very clear listing about what can and cannot be stored. Oh, and leave a constructive review and the owners will respond with a passive aggressive and snarky response rather than acknowledging their errors. Just remember that all of their policies-- from very delayed payouts to only unilaterally allowing guests to leave reviews of hosts, but not the other way around. Steer clear of these yahoos. I'm another host that will have to seek legal remedies to get them to do the right thing. The really crazy part is that I've instructed them to close my account several times and they won't!
Do no use those ppl. They are a scam, im a host, the renter has no paid for 3 months and neighbord is no doing anything. They claim i can tow rhe camper into 4 months goes buy without payment of the renter. Dont do bussiness with this scam
I attempted to rent a garage, and completed the required application and payment information. The 'host' did get back to me after a day's delay. 'Elizabeth' indicated she was unable to accept the payment via the Neighbors payment portal 'due to an issue with her bank'. I asked her to phone me so we could arrange viewing the garage and payment options. No call. And no return to my calls to her. Elizabeth did text several times explaining she had some problems and to try to work with her to make payment. Again, no return calls to my requests and phone messages. Only short texts. I shared this experience several times with Neighbors- alerting them to these issues. No action taken by Neighbors; the listing remains several weeks after my initial experience. I advise users to use caution when dealing with so-called hosts on the site.
I'm disappointed with Neighbor.com customer service - when I contacted them that I have a bad experience with their host - Neighbor rep was not helpful.
I was forced to remove my travel trailer early because their host was unprofessional jerk - he became hostile as soon as I was charged for the full month, my trailer was removed days later but no partial credit or refund was given as I understood (from Neighbor management) will be the case.
Neighbor sucks when it comes to customer service i- s impossible to reach out to anyone and when you have a issue they're telling you it's three days for customer service to get back to you. It's ridiculous. They charging us both PARTIES - the landlord and tenant fees and yet you cannot have customer service I will no longer provide service with neighbor the best place to go is SPACER. They are prompt they get back to you right away and they return your call.
Rented a RecNation space in Tucson through Neighbor. Signed a lease with RecNation, not Neighbor who acted as some sort of "Agent" and collected rent via Visa. Per my lease with RecNation I gave proper notice of termination of Lease to RecNation. I did not notify Neighbor as I believed notice to the property owner was sufficient. Neighbor continued to charge me after the lease was over. I was traveling and did not notice the charges immediately. After a week of emails and attempted calls I got 70% of the charges back. Rip off. Be sure to notify both the host and Neighbor of your termination of lease. P.S. They never answer the phone and give you BS about how they tried to call you but could not connect.
Terrible experience. After using Neighbor many times for parking, there was an incident where my car was towed while using the app. Neighbor refuses to compensate me for the towing fee.
I paid Neighbor for a service - the long term storage of my vehicle, via one of their hosts. I, as the customer, I did not meet the host and had minimal communication with them. As the customer, the difference between Neighbor as the business, and the "host", do not really matter to me. I am unaware of how Neighbor is set up as a business, and it should not be my responsibility to research their "hosts". This is what I paid them to do. Directly from their website: "As long as you stay with Neighbor, you're protected". This is fraudulent advertising. When my car was towed during the time that it was staying with "Neighbor", I did not feel protected. In fact, rather than making this issue right, Neighbor has been fighting. In the grand scheme of things it would be a small cost to fix their mistake, and instead they have turned off a loyal customer from ever using or recommending their services again. I can't imagine why someone would feel comfortable renting a storage space for their vehicle with Neighbor, when there is a chance that the vehicle will be towed during its stay, and that the customer would be on the hook for the towing charges. I paid Neighbor for a service which was not rendered. Due to this they refunded me $33, and refuse to help with the $425 towing fee I incurred while they were storing my vehicle for me. This is unacceptable.
Horrible customer service! They want to blame you for everything, take your money, and then leave you high and dry. They refuse to help you. Stay away
I booked a parking spot to store my trailer since it is not allowed to be parked in my neighborhood. I mistakenly booked it days earlier than needed, immediately notified the host about it BEFORE my reservation was approved, which he approved immediately after I notified him but BEFORE I could modify the dates myself. He gave me written confirmation that he would change my dates but he never did. Fast forward to the date of my reservation. I asked him what time can I move my trailer in. He told me anytime that day would work for him and to take my time. I kept him updated throughout the day after I got held up repairing my car. When I told him I was on the way, he said that it was too late and to try again tomorrow. It was urgent I found parking for my trailer that night so I found another place. I contacted the host in regards to a refund and he ignored me. I then contacted Customer Service. They refuse to give me a full refund because according to them I waited too late to cancel the reservation when in reality I cancelled the day of the reservation, BEFORE I even moved anything onto his parking spot. They told me that my reservation was never modified and so it looked like I waited several days after to cancel. I told them that he was notified that I wanted to change the dates and he confirmed he would change the dates but he never did. They told me that it was my fault for not contacting customer service in the beginning to change the dates but also admitted that he could have contacted them to change the dates (which is what I thought he already did with the written confirmation) and he just chose not to, resulting in me being charged for those extra days. Stay away from this app!
My name is Kathy. I left my camper in the care of a lady named Marty. She was the sweetest person I have met in a long time. Trying to unhook my trailer from my truck it didn't want to happen but finally did. Then trying to hook it back on my truck well that wasn't going to happen either. But Marty was right there doing most of it herself since I'm Disabled. She gave it everything she had and did it. She never complained and always gave it a smile and a laugh.
I held off writing reviews, because i dont like leaving bad feedback. But Neighbor.com doesnt protect renters, and apparently likes hosts cheating people.
I rented a parking space, under specific terms.
The owner has now ghosted me and will not return my money.
Neighbor.com wont do a single thing to help me recover my funds, and i am poor. I recommend finding other methods of renting, because if there's no protection, there's NO REASON TO USE THE SITE

I've been using & recommending ESP Heating & Air for years. Emillo & crew always respond quickly doing quality work at a fair price. They have done installs and repairs for my house that have all been excellent.
Do not use. They are extremely awful and their refund policy is highway robbery. Not a good company to use

I never moved in the property I give neighbors my banking information for deposit reasons they claimed, they sent me to a Bogus property I cancel my reservation and they changed 117.65 because they return my discount deposit because I didn't read the fine print with those CROOKS Beware of these legal thieves give 1 star because I had to but you don't deserve that Stop Stealing from people

They charged me $40 just to see the space! And don't want to give my money back! I never give a permission to charge my card! Never ever again!

I was able to search possible locations to park my vehicle, and I was able to message the host of a property to ask questions. BUT, when I agreed to meet with a host & asked to have the location address sent an hour before the meeting time, the NEIGHBOR app accused me of paying outside the app & so going against their TERMS. How asinine is that!? I am too old for this s#!t.

You will be sent a barrage of texts and emails and calls if you don't respond to reservations immediately.
This is even true if you already have a guest in the parking stall through neighbor.
They will also take away payouts after reservation based on renters comments and reviews. Do not recommend.
