I love the cute prints and the comfort (they are like t-shirt material). They stretch and give as needed through the night. After a couple of washings I've noticed slight shrinkage, but not unreasonable. I found the pants tend to hit me closer to mid calf than near the ankle as depicted in the picture. The elastic holds it up just fine. The downside is however it's a bit expensive isn't it?
Last night, I took my son to Neiman Marcus in Tyson's Corner to go shopping in the Purple Brand area. He was celebrating his sweet 16 and had received many gift cards. While we were shopping, an elderly white lady with glasses kept following us. Despite others trying to get her attention, she seemed solely focused on us. After I complained to someone, she finally asked if she could help us. We declined, saying we were just looking, but she continued to pretend to be on the phone and follow our every move. My son ended up purchasing a hoodie but felt uncomfortable and targeted due to the lady's behavior, so we left.
It took more than 2 weeks for the item to even ship out of their warehouse, let alone be received by the shipping company, in spite of their 5-7 days delivery boasted on their website. I didn't receive the item meant to be a gift in time for my friend's birthday, when I could have just bought it elsewhere if NM were more upfront about their true shipping times.
The stores are as bad as online. It is standard policy for damaged items to not be pulled from the floor in hopes that unsuspecting customer buys it and then good luck returning. Mistake after mistake. Shoppers can find designer clothes from the designer's online store. I found many items about $100 less. Neiman Marcus will be closed in the near future mark my words. Stay away From the sinking ship!

I purchased a women's pyjama set for my elderly mother $189 AUS. I received a dressing gown of lesser value. I have contact Neiman Marcus via email, using the process they stipulate on all their correspondence, three times over two weeks to organise a return - no response. They have my money. I have an item I didn't order and can't use. What a rip off.
They mixed my order. I sent their product back and now been waiting for the refund more than three weeks and yet nothing. It's very difficult to talk to customer service; if you call, they give promises, but then never deliver, if you use chat, you wait for the next available agent an hour and more. Stay away from this company.
I've been an NM customer for 25 years. Held a NM card for 10. I was out of work during the pandemic and asked for payment plan. They completely refused to work with me. Now they are suing me over a relatively small amount. Disgraceful! No wonder they're constantly in bankruptcy.
Neiman Marcus is a joke, meaning unbelievable. The outrages prices and the process for returns is Fd up. Its like the company is a sham... I bought a 168 dollar bottle of perfume online didn't like it[the scent didn't last past an hour] so I sent it back... a month ago at the writing of this review... spoke with customer service FINALLY they said it [the return] was up for review and would take 7 to 10 days... WHY?
We attempted to have a small birthday day present delivered using the ShopRunner 2 day delivery. After 7 days, the package still did not leave the NM warehouse and customer service had no answers. Shop elsewhere if you want good customer service!
What could I say?!Worst shipping experience compared to Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, etc. Customer service didn't get back to me in almost two hours. Will this company go bankruptcy soon? With this super poor service, I guess so…

Try Bloomingdales or Nordstrom if product is available there. Much much better experience. Sadly l couldn’t find their Japanese cookies from Bloomingdales or Nordstrom.

This is the second time I ordered a product only to receive an email a few days later saying they don't actually have merchandise. AND they still have the same product for sale. Even low end stores have a way of tracking how much merchandise they have in stock. This store is a sad joke. Amazing they are still in business.

What company sells product they don't have or cannot get? It's the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen. Can't imagine they will be in business for long.

On 06/05/22 I ordered a pair of Versace pink sandals for my girlfriend. I ordered over the phone they took the order and cc payment, I even paid for next day delivery but the sandals never arrived, I called Neiman Marcus customer service department and apparently the company they use for delivery did picked up the order placed a tracking number but my order was never delivered, Apparently now customer service is saying every trace of my order has disappeared from their system even the tracking number. The gift was a anniversary present to my disappointment I nothing to give to her. 1st and last time I will ever order anything from Neiman Marcus. I only selected 1 star to be able to submit my review

I am posting your practice of offering products at sale prices and then cancelling the order on my social media. I called your Customer service and was promised a overnight shipment and then promised the item shall be shipped and then I receive the cancellation. I called Customer Service again and spoke with Rose and she politely said that the order is cancelled.
I have shopped for over $1700 products from your store but enough of being taken for a ride. I am returning back all your goods tomorrow.

This store is declining drastically. They tried to give me store credit rather than a refund. Thats called fraud and deceptive. They are deeply in debt so would rather stick it to you than treat you well. They cant be trusted. A look online revealed hundreds of complaints against them as well as a sucks page on Facebook. Buyer beware
The merchandise I have received is significantly different from the picture. Very slow delivery if you are not leaving in USA. Customer service is not supportive or helpful. Such a shame I cannot post a picture of what was delivered to me.
My mother tried to place an order today on their website. The credit card on her account was out of date and she tried to update and was not able to. So she called customer service, spent over an hour on the phone with multiple people and no one could figure out how to deal with the situation. Ultimately she hung up in frustration. So they lost a significant sale.

I'm a Neiman's cardholder and every I call about an order, member issue, etc. the representative is always rude and unhelpful, offering no alternative solutions or ending the call with a pleasant salutation. I would expect that from a lower-tier retailer, but not from Neiman's where the real money is being spent. I guess they only care about you if you are an Elite member with a private assistance line.

Great customer service! I purchased a dress that was deeply discounted, and a week later I noticed that it had been discounted even further. Customer service refunded me the difference in price, and it was processed and back on my credit card in two days! Most other retailers will not do price adjustments for items that were on sale when you purchased them, but Neiman Marcus has a policy that they do price adjustments on anything within 10 days of purchase! I shop here a lot and have never had a problem!
Unreliable! I've been shopping NM for years... online & from catalogs. TERRIBLE. Website is never fully operational & in-sync with catalogs. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to order catalog items online & they are either out of product, product has not yet been released/delivered from vendor (so it's order ahead) or they're not even sure if they are going to get the product at all. I ordered a product over 3 months ago & I just got an email yesterday that said "sorry, we're not going to be getting your shoes in". Jewelry? Delay. Shoes? Who the heck knows if you'll get it. Walk in the store? If the way the sales people look at you is any indication, its questionable whether or not they're there to help you.
Ordered a bottle of Frederic Malle parfum in October. First time I checked on order, in November, I was told the item was back ordered so they had cancelled my order. I asked them to put the order in again and ship as soon as they could.
I finally received the parfum on Jan. 12th. I could have gotten it 2 weeks earlier if they had used a different shipping method.
After having to wait so long for it it's hard to understand why they would use such a slow delivery method to save a dollar.
This $#*!ing place better get some salespeople with at least a half brain to work there, what they have now is a bunch of idiots who can even process a $#*!ing return, they better take their heads out of their asses and do some work, I want my money back...

And always has been. When it comes to customer service i usually take control. Especially if i have an issue and i usually get my way. That said, i'm not asking for freebies or anything but if they sent me the wrong item i expect them to ship a replacement out with no additional shipping cost to me and they're very very good about it. NM has fabo CS and amazing products ta boot!
Neiman Marcus cancelled my orders twice at different time. Their first reaction is always "Oh it is bank security concern, you should check with your bank. We can only see your credit card was denied by bank." I didn't check with bank at the first time and went Macy's for the product. But I check with bank this time. Customer service from Chase bank said the transection was made on 11/23 but Neiman Marcus reversed it on 11/27 (that is yesterday).
Of course I contacted Neiman Marcus again, they now admitted maybe there are some problem of their system. They said they will start investigate and give me a reason why they canceled my order without notification and lied it is bank's issue in 24 hours. Wait and see!
I buy all my clothes at Neiman Marcus, if you go to the store you buy what you want but online is terrible, they never sent me the right item, is always a problem and they don't honor their word. I wonder who is going to sell some exclusive brands when they close their doors.
Neiman Marcus should not offer online shopping as they do not have the ability to process and deliver!
I ordered YSL wallets for Christmas presents on Dec19th with over night shipping, and my order stayed on process status until today, January 6th! There's no updates, no notifications, I finally hit cancel! I directly went to YSL website and ordered directly from them, it arrived the next day! Don't bother shopping your designer items from them, go directly to the specific brand boutique! Neiman Marcus is the most unorganized and unreliable ever! Customer service is useless and they do not have any solutions to my order that has been sitting in line for shipment for almost 3 weeks!

The fedex driver stole my package. Sent them screenshots of the boxed teared and they still denied my claim. Prior to that, I had once returned an item to them and didn't receive my refund but a gift card instead two months later. I used the gift card and paid the remaining balance on my credit card for it only to get stolen. With zero explanation to why my claim was denied when I provided images that proved the boxed that was delivered was ripped apart.

There are tons of other big department stores to shop from that actually value their customers. Shop literally anywhere else but there. The worst experience I’ve ever had from any department store.
