I love the cute prints and the comfort (they are like t-shirt material). They stretch and give as needed through the night. After a couple of washings I've noticed slight shrinkage, but not unreasonable. I found the pants tend to hit me closer to mid calf than near the ankle as depicted in the picture. The elastic holds it up just fine. The downside is however it's a bit expensive isn't it?
Last night, I took my son to Neiman Marcus in Tyson's Corner to go shopping in the Purple Brand area. He was celebrating his sweet 16 and had received many gift cards. While we were shopping, an elderly white lady with glasses kept following us. Despite others trying to get her attention, she seemed solely focused on us. After I complained to someone, she finally asked if she could help us. We declined, saying we were just looking, but she continued to pretend to be on the phone and follow our every move. My son ended up purchasing a hoodie but felt uncomfortable and targeted due to the lady's behavior, so we left.
I ordered the Ziip device & gel duo which is well over $500. The shipping department just sent the gel, not the very expensive device. When I called customer service to ask them to send me the device, they said that they couldn't do that and that I would have to send the gel back (a hassle in and of itself). They also said that they would only refund me my money once they got the gel back and then recharge my card for the device. SO INEFFICIENT when all they had to do to solve the issue was ship my missing device. The absolute worst shipping and customer service experience. I told them I just wanted a refund and that I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I ordered a pair of Balenciaga Sandals on line, when I received them it was the wrong color. I took it to a store to exchange it, they didn't have the color I wanted. The attendant in the store was very rude and told me I would have to pay $ 25 to have the sandals reshipped. I refused as it wasn't my fault they didn't get my order right. I am very disappointed and expected better service from Neiman Marcus. Not sure if I'll ever shop there again, the sandals that I wanted is not available and they don't know when it will be back in stock!

I was FRAUDULENTLY charged $700 three days after the store, that I drove TWO HOURS to, told me my order was CANCELLED (and it was an order for a $300 item!). They LIED repeatedly telling me they tried to "contact me." Tried to complain to Neiman about this. Two 15-minutes on hold calls, gave up. Then try getting your stolen money back! What a runaround. Emails, phone calls, credit card disputes. Still not a call from the "polite" salespeople at the store. Such a mish mash of incompetence and deception. This whole chain should not survive the coming recession...
I had ordered Christmas gifts online. One item was cancelled. I was not notified. I don't know what happened. Another two items were put on backorder. When I did get them they were the wrong color. I have receivved no help. As expensive as Neiman Marcus is you would think customer service would be better. You would think you would get what you ordered.
Tried to place an order with a promo code. Between entering the order and entering my credit card number the clock struck 10 pm central time and I got a screen message that the promo had expired. I called customer service and was told that the promo had expired a minute prior and I was out of luck. Are you kidding? The order was in process! Neimans and Bergdorfs have lost a customer for good.
Horrible, i paid for 2 day shipping and when i called they always gave me different delivery dates. Please stay away from this place, don't order its SCAM!
They keep hanging up on me, so rude. Cant figure out how to send me a new card. Apparently there system is down every time I call. Literally the WORST. Ugh

Neiman Marcus has great high quality designer clothes. Super expensive, so I can't always afford it. I use this site occasionally to get something special.
Absolute favorite site to purchase from. I like it better than their Galleria Houston establishment. Lovely return policy. Shipping? No complaints. I receive items within two days of submitting.

Terrible ordering experience. Terrible post-order/post-delivery customer service. Terrible attempts to rectify the problem. Ordered a pair of Louboutin Pigalle Pumps in Red on 12/31/14. Received the shoes in "multi" color 4 days later. Called Neiman Marcus customer service telephone number to inform them of the error and was told that although they no longer had the correct shoe in their warehouse, it was in stock at a store in San Diego and that the shoe would be shipped to me the following morning. I was also told that I'd receive a follow up phone call the next morning. The follow up phone call never occurred, and 16 days after the original telephone conversation, I called Neiman Marcus back in order to follow up on this order only to find that the shoes were never sent from San Diego. After escalating the phone call to a "manager" (Jane W.), my only recourse is a gift card to reorder "a different item" from Neiman Marcus. Having been subject to such a horrendous experience with them and their "customer service" (I've honestly been treated better at discount stores like Target), what makes you think I'd ever give them the opportunity to have my business again, even taking Neiman's gift card bribe into consideration? Absolutely absurd and ludicrous!
This is a redundant issue, my 1st concern is that I placed an order for a pair of ban sunglasses, I received them however they fit like they were meant for a child. I sent them back about 4 weeks later I received a pair of sunglasses in the post all broken with a note attached stating we're sorry but we cant take this item back b/c you have used the item. The glasses were destroyed not all the pieces were included. I called and they told me to send them back and they will credit my account once I send them back. Okay its been 2 mths no credit for 85.00.
I recently ordered fathers day gifts and 2 pair of tory loafers. I check the email to see when I would recieve the item and I was unable to access the fedex tracking information. Called customer service and the girl stated that I needed to contact the credit dept however she could not transfer me I would need to hang up and call them. Tried calling no answer.
Thanks for redundantly letting me down as a consumer.

NM has no customer service. Emails either stay unanswered or I receive some really dumb short meaningless answers unrelated to the issue.
I had two problems with NM online recently. They charged me in Paypal on order that was cancelled and never paid me this amount back. I called, I emailed, I am doing it for 2 months now, still they did not returned my money. This is called stealing.
Second issue is with the gift card - again, a cancelled order and gift card that I used is not valid now, but they did not bother to provide me a replacement gift card or any other form of refund. They charged that money and never replied to me about it. I tried to call them few times and each time their customer service tells me in a very aggressive manner a different story - that new card will be sent to me with Fedex, that it will be issued as Paypal refund, or returned to credit card.
I don't think they do take our money in exchange for nothing intentionally, I believe that NM is a big mess and they don't have their financial operations under control.
My advice - never pay them via PayPal and never cancel your order with them. You better wait few days to receive it and ship it back then. Otherwise, you will never see your money again, no matter what you do or how hard you complain to them.
Unfortunately, NM are not competent or their system has serious flows - they learned how to handle returns, but everything else that is out of this standard scheme is a complexity level way beyond their competence. If I knew it few months ago, it would save me money.
They just do not seem to be able to deliver the product. Delivery date is changed every time I contact. Always same excuse of warehouse issues. Looks to me like they are a scam.

My hubby made a purchase of over $800 from neimanmarcus.com. It was meant to be my birthday present for my 30th(obviously a surprise). Alas, 2 weeks after purchase, the package was lost in transition and they had to open a claim form that took 2days-5days before they could ship an exchange/refund. Anyway, 3weeks after, claim form was processed, no exchange of purchase, and money was returned to his credit card. I of course found out about all this when my hubby was apologizing for not getting a gift he had ordered. The store didn't even offer him an option to purchase something else on the site... They must make so much money that $1000 was not worth the customer service in terms of ensuring purchase and customer satisfaction.
I ordered a $115.00 Handbags from neimanmarcus.com and when I received, i was shocked. It was not in a factory sealed packaged box. It was as if they shipped me a tester unit. Its not provied good costemer service.
My mom is the kindest most generous woman I know. When she bought the LA Mer cream from neiman marcus, she was elated. After putting a dap on her face and the eye serum under her eyes, her face has a really bad reaction to the cream. I brought it back to neiman and asked if they could exchange it for another product, the manager Tracy says NO. My mom spends m-f From 3pm-6pm volunteering an after school program which she loves. She would have the best time with the 4 and 5 years old. She would teach them mandarin verbally and in written form. She reads them children stories in Chinese. The kids would take turn reading children stories to her in English. She teach them calligraphy, tai-chi, and how to use the abacus. She brings food in so no children would go home hungry. The parents of the children also have my mom's cell phone so if they are late in picking up the kids, she would keep them company. The only vanity my mom has is like lady cream and lotion when she could afford it. Now we will wait and see when she can go back to the after school program. Those kids give her so much life and energy for a 75 y. O. lady. She misses them and don't want them to see her in her present condition. The kids love her and vice versa

I had such a good luck to encounter Ms Basha Green at the Roosevelt Field Mall as I was buying an evening gown to attend a gala, Ms Green was so knowledgeable, so helpful, o customer oriented, she made me feel so special, she left me with the impression that this where you should come back at the time, definitely she is a great asset to your company

I shopped downtown at Neiman Marcus many times over a 20-year period in my last state. Then we moved to another state... the closest store is nearly three hours away so I have ordered online all the years we've lived here excluding two trips to their store when I knew I needed the items for a trip. Don't understand so many negative reviews because not once have I ever had a problem with them. Sometimes an item might have been delayed a day or two but they were right on it with updates and returns were handled with no problem. Sometimes you do have to wait for exchanges, etc. But have talked to customer service many times and not once was anyone rude. Sometimes your attitude and how you talk to them can set the tone for the outcome. And maybe many of you did experience poor service, bad reps, etc. but it just seems like people love jumping on the negative bandwagon. And I am sorry that sometimes the wrong employees might get hired. But Neiman Marcus is still a good store and my purpose is to say they have always done their job and treated me professional and courtesly and corrected anything that was not right. I just wanted to convey that positive response.
I ordered something was to be delivered by 6-15 for bday... it wasnt... they don't care... I ask for refund... still waiting... hard earned money should not be spent here... co is a joke
They take entirely too long to ship your items. They are always sorry, but will not fix the issue. There's no way it should take them almost two weeks to ship an item.
