Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
Been a Netflix subscriber for a very long time and am very happy with the programming. My challenge is with all of the overlaying categories when searching for programs to watch. After my teen nieces visited and watched some programs, our programming suggestions are skewed toward their demographic. My bad - need to set up a guest channel for the glampers in the media room, but this busy hostess can hardly keep up at times. So - chilling with Netflix is great (once we find a program).
Kids were hooked to this crap, so i cut the subscription. They can read books which is something most kids seem to have forgotten. Kids are either dumb or dumber today. Too much TV equates to no brain
I am one of the few subscribers that doesn't stream and watches DVDs that are mailed to me. I am on the 3 at a time plan. Up until 3-4 months ago, the discs would arrive the day after they were mailed, allowing me to watch up to 6 a week. Now, it takes 2 days to receive them, and I am lucky if I can get 4 in a week. They changed the location the discs were shipped from "in state" to the next state over. Netflix didn't bother to notify me of this prior to doing it.
I've been a Netflix customer for about 10 years. I am disabled and mostly housebound, so I have to rely on home entertainment. But I don't have money to spare so things like Sky are beyond my budget. Netflix offers a phenomenal amount of content for just a few ££s a month. The platform they use is stable, the quality is good. They have a nice range too... films, box sets, documentaries, comedy etc. With the awful choice on freeview, I would go nuts with my Netflix!
Netflix is great. If I feel like watching a movie I can turn on my laptop and instantly watch something. There are no late fees and no stress if you don't put the movie in the mail on a certain day.
I can mail a movie back in the afternoon and they will receive it the next morning! They promptly mail out my next movie. I think they may have a special deal with the postal service because I've never seen anything get somewhere that quickly.
I'm happy with netflix.
I have subscribed to Netflix twice and with few complaints but ended up leaving whenever there was little left to watch or wanted to watch.
It has been a major problem for Cable and satellite providers and its about time somebody sent cable providers a message. Netflix has been good to average on both subs I had with them with no complaints on the media or the prices they had but things have changed for Canadian subscribers and I can't say its good so average is where I'm at with my Netflix review.
I have been a Netflix customer for the past three years. For $13.99 per month, I have the ability to watch various movies and tv shows in HD. Movie and tv show content is better than Hulu. However, Netflix does have content available that seems questionable plot and material wise. Hints the four stars. Other than that, no complaints!
I have had a great experience to date. I am not happy about the 25% or so price increase if you want the 2 movie and streaming package. The package I have at $14.95 is no longer available and is now almost $20.00, as of August 1,2011. I am dropping the streaming video to save money. That seems to be a big jump all at once that I am not willing to pay. The streaming did slow down my other computers in the house so I don't think I will miss it anyway. It is still a great value for the money!
Netflix is on za frl cuz now i can't watch Netflix because im not in my cousins household. How am i going to be in their household if they're 4 hours away from me. And if they wanted to add another household member it would charge them extra like nah Netflix if they lose people and subscriptions thats their fault because this is the reason why Netflix has been hit it's because of password sharing. I've been using my cousins account for years and now they want to pull this bs of a stunt.
I had Netflix for some time and about 3 months ago I cancelled my account since both of my children are out to college now. I was just checking my credit card statement and surprisingly I found charges from Netflix twice i the same month i cancelled. When I call customer service of course they told me someone in the household sign back in and reactivated the account and that i should have change my password at the time of cancellation. Maybe if they have said it then i would have done that. And of course they don't offer any kind of reimbursement to loyal customers. So for that reason i give them 1 star. And will not come back.
I'm happy with my Netflix membership. Been member for at least Netflix has been accessible to me though family for over a year now.
Movies are some times limited, I mean I can't find any new movies to watch :(
If you had asked me a few weeks ago, I would have rated this higher. They have a new feature where tv episodes keep playing automatically- not helpful if you like to go to sleep while watching a single episode...
Out of all the streaming services netflix is the only one that can actually play a film without the buffer wheel. I would use again if i could afford it. A lot of old stuff but do have new tv progs sometimes.
I received am email stating my email has been changed as requested. I did not request a change. When talking to customer service, they would not help since I could not verify any of the new account info. This was to keep the account secure. Why are they now worried about account security but not when someone took over my account?
Tip for consumers:
Don't. Someone was able to take over my account and they refuse to help recover it. There are better platforms for movies for the price

Amazing platform, i just love it! Great tv shows and movies available on your laptop or mobile if you travel somewhere! The new series 1899 is really really good! I love that they have great cartons for kids, it helps me sometime when I am so tired, my kids can watch Netflix all day. The new series 1899 is really good,
Netflix used to provide short descriptions of each of the movies on the Netflix App. But now I'm seeing more of who acted and who directed the movie. This is not helpful at all. The short descriptions used to help me decide on which movie I would like to watch. Please bring that back.
I signed up for Netflix over a year ago. There are a lot of films, TV series and programs, including those with different professional translations, and as a result, you can tighten up or start learning the language with the help of subtitles. I watch many new items here. Great Netflix thing. The picture quality and sound are great. I recommend!
Netflix is constantly upping its game. It changes it's plans, adds streaming, and seems to keep up with Hulu and other comeptitors.
The interface has always been easy. Rating is simple, putting a list together is simple, having split accounts is simple, and I love their recommendations.
You can always sort movies by category, previously watched, recommended to you, what's new, etc.
Netflix is absolutely amazing if you don't watch it everyday because then its very difficult to find something interesting. Its a great way to chill out with friends, but only if you haven't watched all the latest stuff. Even if all the episodes come out at once its better to savor it for later.
I got billed for premium instead of standard, after contacting support they just reassured me that it will be okay in the future and according to them they can't do anything about their mistake. I even received 2 emails confirming that my plan is standard and that's what I will be billed for, seems like you can't trust the emails they send you.
I bought a Netflix subscription more than 3 years ago when the serial "La casa de papel" was released and from those times I had never regretted I decided to use this TV streaming service. So a wonderful interface which is quite easy to use even elderly people might cope with it. I really adore their option to see short trailers from different episodes just putting the cursor on the appropriate movie or serial. Moreover I really love the opportunity to watch movies from different devices from the same time and from different account, for example your kids can watch movie from one account and you with your husband or wife from another and this is under the only one subscription.
Tried the free month and it didn't take but 10 days to get rid of it, after seeing the kind of complete trash that Netflix is putting out there, i. E.(End of the F***ing World), their forceful movie suggestions, way too many foreign language films and now their latest Netflix ad that promotes degeneracy, at one point it took me almost 2 hours to find something to watch that didn't have an "F-Bomb" in it, makes me want to just get rid of any type of TV altogether!
I have had Netflix for as long as I can remember, and they have always gone above and beyond for the few times I've called them with question. I think prices are very fair. I get streaming and 2 DVDs/month for $15 with only a $2 increase over all these yrs. I highly recommend.
Not cutting my cable yet, but I'm finding more and more of my television time spent on Netflix. Plus it's nice to pick up where I left off on my mobile. Best part is the original content, and the fact I don't have to wait weeks for each episode to air. Less than $10, but worth easily 10x that!
Not what it used to be. Half the movies are foreign films now. The app is glitchy and slow. You finally sift through the movies and find one that looks interesting. Then you discover it's not in English or is has a very poor English dub.
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
