Netflix has a rating of 2.5 stars from 1,822 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Netflix most frequently mention customer service, credit card, and good movies problems. Netflix ranks 3rd among Streaming Movies sites.
Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
Even they don't have the best or the latest shows, I like the ease of being able to watch the same show continuously on TV, laptop, tablet and cell phone with no ads. But I stop the service when they increase the fees.
I Have been with Netflix for past 25 years, and now suddenly they start cutting people off.
I have premium account which i pay 19.99, with for devices then my daughter moved out to her apartment's
So I added her with 7.99 extra charge and now she cant add a profile for her kids 5 year old to watch a darn cartoons, anyways what they saying now is that with that extra charge she can only have one device meaning either the kids can watch cartoon or them watching movies
So who the F*** is the F***kg thief here!?
The darn stocks took a downfall so i guess trying to makeup the difference here.
Good price, good selection. I do wish there was a way to remove series and moves you aren't interested in to narrow the field a bit.
Series only have a few seasons each but they introduce new ones on a regular basis... right now they are scraping the bottom of the barrel with 20+ year old TV shows but hey - they're new to the Netflix lineup :)
If you're looking to use Netflix to watch newly released movies, it's not the place. Most titles I have searched for (I. E. 2012 and was made in 2012), Netflix does not have. You have to sign up for the mail CD program to watch the most popular movies. Netflix is the place to go if you're looking for trashy movies that have never been heard of before or really old movies that you can watch for free on regular TV. Why don't they combine the CD mailing and streaming services into one and charge more money?
I have been a member for years. When I phone them with a problem it is never resolved. I am lucky if I can understand the Netflix employee. The Netflix content has not improved.I only understand English and I can try all night to find a movie or a show that is in English and that I haven't already watched. Netflix is trying to force people to upgrade. I received no notification that their membership had changed yet I was told I can only use Netflix on one tv in my house with a basic membership. I used to be able to have it on two TVs. I'm deciding who I will be changing to and so are many other people. Netflix doesn't even deserve one star.
Just when you want to throw that brick through your TV when you figure out that out of your 300 channels, there's not an original show to be seen (rerun Hell), you remember you can watch Netflix and see something new, from start to finish, with nary a single 5-minute span of commercials for every 6 minutes of show. What sold me? Orange is the New Black. Couldn't wait for the next season. And House of Cards. Kevin Spacey is as evil as evil has ever been portrayed. Plus, Netflix has a lot of shows that have been seen elsewhere, series included. Why not watch them back-to-back without commercials? After all, you can hit pause if your life interferes with your watching Netflix, and get back to it later. Right where you left it.
Excellent site for movie lovers. Watch movies at your convenience any time and anywhere you have High Speed Internet connection under 10$ a month. However if your ISP provider imposes a download cap you have to make sure you don't pay extra for bandwidth usage.
You can find a good content on Netflix like crime series and documentaries, for that Netflix is probably the best, but when it comes to movies, bunch of old movies, you can watch them all in two months and that's it, they are very slowly coming with new movies to add and even if they add, they are not that good. My point is, Netflix, stick to your tv shows and documentaries.
Appearently, we signed up under share on 4 devices, an since netflix sees it has more accounts then subscribers. So they make it to where everyone has to pay.
Originally what the agreement was can be played on 4 devices.
I say we boycott netflix like we did Budweiser an hit there pockets. Make them uphold there agreement
I live in the state of Washington I speak English so why are most of the movies netflix puts out are in foreign languages, I want to watch a movie not read it. Netflix used to be my favorite now as far as movies go not so much, and the movies seem to be getting worse, they don't even rate B movies more like D movies. I'm very disappointed with netflix. Get with it netflix give us what we want American made entertainment!
I sent back a DVD on Monday... this is Friday night... they say that they did not get the DVD until Thursday... and that their processing center is closed as of 4:30 A.M. on Friday early morning... SO, the earliest my next DVD will be sent out will be Monday. BUT, they said they can take up to 3 full days to send out another DVD. They have done this several times, so I have cancelled both my accounts with Netflix... they aren't worth the hassle. No wonder the price of their stock has gone down so much... :(
I started with Netflix way back when they were mailing DVD's and continued when they switched to streaming. They've always done a good job at providing the maximum convenience, big selection, and minimal cost. The only problem I've had is that they often push things they want you to see, and guess incorrectly at what you want to see, so sometimes I end up sifting through a bunch of stuff I'm not interested in to find movies I am interested in.
Everyone I know who has or had Netflix has the same steaming issues with Netflix. It's absolutely not worth a penny! Hulu is by far more superior with better content and never an issue with streaming quality. I hate Netflix they charge more more now for the same crap and can't fix their steaming issues so by by Netflix good luck waisting your money on shows you can sometimes watch. Go Hulu or literally any other app
Tip for consumers:
Stop
My wife & I really enjoy the Netflix network. Great way to watch wonderful shows, which we enjoy alot. Commercials are nice & just very affordable during these hard times where we can't afford regular cable. Keep up the great job Netflix & thank you for your services.
We have enjoyed finding a series and each night or only Friday nights watching a series. It is great to have immediate access to TV series, documentaries and movies. And you can sign up loved ones and friends who also get to benefit from your membership. It is very economical. Only downside is they dont have current movies - they are about 5 months behind.
Simply the best deal for your money.
I don't like that some movies and shows aren't available for streaming and can only be gotten by DvD. (meaning that to view everything available you need both plans.) But other than that, I LOVE Netflix.
They really care about thier customers too. They listen and learn and improve the site based on customer need... not company bottom line. And for that they have loyal customers that will be with them and supporting them for years to come.
Netflix provides a great service for a great price. There is nothing bad I can even really think of saying about them. I have been a satisfied customer for at least 2 years! They also provide great customer service when there are issues (which does not happen often).
Regular networks and Hollywood are dying and there is no question why. Netflix has paved the way for consumers to watch what they want, when they want and all for less than the price of one movie ticket per month. Netflix delivers great programming I only wish the Canadian Government would allow Canadians the full spectrum of programming our friends in the USA enjoy.
I love Netflix, but seriously... guys... have more varieties of movies to choose from. I don't like the sneaky tactic (?) of just changing the movie poster every month to make it look different. Bring more awesome movies online please.
When Netflix dumps amazing series such as Marco Polo etc. during the cresendo without explanation, it becomes travesty! One must consider the feasibility of following any of Netflix's series if this irritating practice remains the standard.

I have been a member since this company began. I have never had a problem with any of their products, and have even purchased used DVDs. When reporting problems, the customer service department has always been helpful and resolved the issue in a timely manner.
I had Netflix for several years on my iPad before I switched to another movie site. Netflix had NO relatively recent movies at all. Neither does this other site. It was OK, but not impressive. It was just "OK".
Check it out... it's good some good stuff on there.
It's def. Not the be all and end all... but it's a good solution for cost effective entertainment streaming. Areas that need more content (australian netflix) documentaries and movies
Nothing but positive things to say about Netflix. I currently pay to have 3 dvds out at a time but occasionally they send a fourth one that I've been waiting a long time for. Exchanges for damaged discs are done very quickly. Very, very happy!
It's still a streaming service that provides its own TV shows, however, it has low quality, got rid of every show that was known for, locks you out of account after first payment bounce, and charges the same if not more. Get Hulu or HBO max, both perfect together
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
