Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
Their service rarely works. After cancelling, they continue to charge and argue with me. I'm not using your service because I can't even log in. When I could get in the content was terrible. Nothing recent and nothing but washed up steven seagull and Adam Sandler d list movies.
I love Netflix! Their have a great selection of hard to find movies that are difficult to find even in those obscure movie stores. Their on demand feature is amazing and really fast in comparison to other sites that stream. Also I am so happy that it is ad free!
Netflix stages a live event but can't deliver. Crashed the whole site. Now we can't watch anything and spent the last hour and a half trying to get through to customer service. Only to be told that they don't have customer retention and basically we can take our money elsewhere.
For less than $10 a month, Netflix is pretty dang cool. Honestly, I wish they had certain movies/tv shows like Star Wars and such, but they have plenty of things to keep you busy with your tv for hours and hours and hours. There are some good old shows on here and I've even heard that the Netflix original shows are pretty good, too. Doctor Who is an excellent show to watch(both the original from 1963 and the new show). There are really plenty of things to watch, it just makes me sad though when I search for a certain movie/show and it's not there... sometimes they get rid of shows, too, so I suppose it's good to watch it while it's there!
I've been using Netflix for over 6 years. I used to like them but the last few years it's gone downhill. They changed how we rate movies and that had a big impact. They're adding more and more foreign movies that even people in those countries or nationalities don't want to watch. They removed Christian movies ON Easter. When you select a category the first few rows and the last few rows are great... they're usually movies that are 10-15yrs old (if we're lucky) and in between is junk NO ONE wants to watch. I love how all Netflix produced movies are a great fit for me, NOT. YouTube has free movies but that's hit or miss with quality, the documentaries are great always. I'm ready to leave
Great product and site! I have never had an issue that they don't treat the customer with respect. We even misplaced a DVD, and they were prompt with directions and that was that! We enjoy the Instant Watch, where you have access to thousands of high quality videos on demand.
My life revolves around netflix! LOL i love their original movies! I do the streaming and the dvds in the mail. Have only had three problems in 16 years. That is pretty great, i think! And their customer service could not be more helpful!
I really enjoy relaxing and watching movies or watching TV show marathons. The only minor complaint I would say I have is that the selection of shows and movies could be expanded a bit. I find myself going to Amazon Prime more often lately.
Man this site is a life saver. We are rebuilding our house and the place we are renting doesn't have TV. That's a good thing in a way. We have an extremely busy family with 6 adults and one grand son. There are four laptops is use. We have four different profiles and I guess we could watch watch four different movies at the same time if we wanted too. I don't think we ever have? But there is always some one on the net.
They have a good choice of movies and TV series. It's really good when you finish work at odd hours.
I've never had any subscription but now I always watching tv shows.
I've had 0 lags or problems with entering or finding something. But I don't like the rewind function, you have to press it 2 times and it has the feeling that it takes 20 seconds
As far as streaming services go, it's fine if you don't like re-watching shows. Netflix has their original shows/movies, meaning if you love one of these, and they decide to stop streaming it, there's no way of watching it or buying a dvd copy of it (Wish Dragon). There's also quite a few anime shows they've cut out context out of (the content isn't innapropriate), to make the stream more seamless. In their opinion. If I wanted an adaptation of a show I loved I would've just asked my friends

My account was hacked during my first month free trial, which is hilarious and tells a story of unfortunate things to come. Fortunately, they apparently were not able to see my billing information, but someone tried to change my password to take my account. I resolved it, but there was no recommendation for what might prevent it in the future. Since my privacy cannot be guaranteed, I am not using the service. The shows were good though, and I would probably use it if I wasn't running this risk again.
Wide choices... streaming works well... go online to browse titles is easier than using on screen browser (which is still pretty good). Sometimes the 'because you watched___' list is not well chosen, other times it finds you something great you would have missed -- so I browse them too.
Nothing better than being able to stream my favourite movies and shows so easily, well worth the money!
Sometimes the choice can be a little 'limited', but if you have a taste for some huge films, and some from less-known directors, actors, and don't mind subtitles every now and then, Netflix is a goldmine!
The 'Netflix orignal' series are taking off, and it's not even crappy, low budget shows, they are awesome! Well worth the watch if you haven't already.
As a long term user of Netflix I have some issues that continue to bother me.
One. I don't want to start watching a movie without knowing up front that it is in a foreign language. How hard can it be to add "In Spanish with subtitles" or "in________ (whatever) with subtitles". Two. New Arrivals. I note 'new' titles that have been in this group more than a year and that ain't new baby - that's tired and stale.
Three. I don't want to see tv series mixed in with movies. Four. Netflix never gets rid of crappy movies but good ones have limited availability. Five. How about the ability to email suggestions or want to see list.
Netflix has replaced my cable television. I absolutely love it! In my four years of using Netflix, we have had exactly one issue. And that was because my husband didn't understand that changing our plan would cost us way too much money. When I called to have them fix it, they put it back the way it was right away. I couldn't ask for a better company!
Netflix is such a rip off! I made an account recently using the same credit card I used previously for a different account and it turns out that I am not eligible for first free month. They did not have any indicators specifying that I can't receive a free first month trial since I used to the same credit card. I was on the phone for more than 30 min arguing about this and they still repeated the same thing over and over again. Worst customer service ever!
They charge more now, and decreased the amount of streaming devices you can have.
And for what? They didn't add anymore content and remove shows?
The reason for my review is that you can't change your payment date unless you cancel your membership...
So I have to wait a month to get a new payment date...
Pretty poor design and now more expensive than Premium Hulu...
I own one television and have had to contact customer service several times to verify my account as required by Netflix. Netflix continues to accuse me of password sharing each time I contact the customer chat. They're so paranoid and greedy they're going to lose customers for their accusations. I just want to watch my one television that I pay streaming for without Netflix creating constant drama and wasting my time with each verification customer chat.

I was chatting with an executive and wanted why my membership was cancelled in spite of informing them about my hacking problem. The person has only one answer for everything - "It is system generated." Then the person types another message "Is there anything else to know about Netflix?" I understand that Netflix is not there to understand customers who are paying money as Humans but see them as Revenue Generating Machines. I've been using your services for the last 4 years, even though the movies and programs are not up to the mark as compared to your competitors without a complaint against your preloaded services, hoping one day you will be the best. With this experience, you will only send your customers to competitors. I don't understand why a single star should be given when your service or your executives are not fit to be starred.
Netflix often cancels shows after just two seasons. It would be ok if they were presented as 2 season shows that had a plot that wrapped up in that time, but they are ongoing stories that are just abruptly ended as you are starting to get invested in the storyline. Netflix is all about getting new signups, not catering to the subscribers they already have. I no longer invest my time in new shows until they are at least 3 or 4 seasons in, just to make sure they are already committed to stay around. If they continue to only produce the first 1 or 2 years of shows that have a long storyline, then I might as well stop my subscription. It won't be worth it going forward.
Whenever I wanted to watch some movies or series that's inaccessible online, I watch it at Netflix. Although not everything we wish to watch is on it, majority of the best movies is always readily available at Netflix. Also, if you wish to discover recent or the all time fave movies/series, then Netflix is really a must try for you. It offers a great variety of films which would greatly attract your interest.
Such a great collection of TV shows and Movies - I love that you can also download them to watch offline, and everything comes with subtitles too! You're able to access a wide variety of shows and movies for around $10-$15 a month depending on your subscription, which honestly is such a bargain.
They have a huge inventory. Unfortunately most of it is not something I want to watch. At this point, House of Cards is keeping me as a subscriber but with the increase in monthly price I'm wavering. I think it has reached that point where it just isn't worth it to me.
Netflix is my go-to streaming network. The site is super user friendly. It will send me updates and new releases of either shows I've been watching or show it thinks I'd enjoy based off my history. It has my separate account, so I can watch my shows and it will hold my spot from where I left off. I use Netflix daily and it's extremely affordable. Since I got my Netflix account I shut off my cable. It has saved me so much money monthly. I definitely recommend Netflix.
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
