“Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies”

Nat G.
3/29/24

Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment

“Disappointed lately”

Zach P.
9/28/24

I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.

Netflix was good years back. Now it's so difficult to find something interesting to be watched on a weekend. Netflix is becoming more of a serial centric entertainment app instead of having new release movies.

Less expensive than cable, no excruciating advertisements, watch when you want. I wish they had a greater selection of items to stream, but for the price it is a good service that gives a good video quality based off of the quality of your internet connection. Volume is often on the low end, so you will probably need to turn your volume up higher than with some other video sources, but that is easy enough to do.

I love Netflix. I have discovered so many new shows that I have come to love. Yes - I am about 1-2 seasons behind everyone else (because the latest seasons are not on the website yet.) However, for $9 a month, it is way cheaper than cable. If it were not for sports, I think I could convince my husband to get rid of cable all together.

Netflix needs to get more creative in finding ways to get people's attention instead of making every damn show and movie about sex or using extremely graphic sex scenes. It's the 21st century and it's absolutely pathetic and disgusting to see the lack of creativity people have to get viewers attention. I mean every time I go to Netflix to look for something to watch and I end up using other streaming sites such as Disney plus and amazon prime because I'm deeply disgusted by the amount of male gaze and "sex sells" bull$#*! shows they have on there. There really is no need for graphic sex scenes, I mean if someone really wants to watch something with that much graphic sex in it they might as well go to pornhub.

I've been using Netflix for a year and the service is somewhat good enough for streaming with a stable internet connection. Most of the shows and movies are there which you can generally close the movie and still takes you where you left off.

During this time of recovery from an economic downturn, people are saving money and have become more frugal than ever before. Many people have cut back on the luxury items and only focused on obtaining the necessities. Going to the movies with high priced tickets and popcorn was a luxury that many people cut back on.

As we began to embrace these cut backs we put together a list of websites to watch movies and/or tv on to little or no cost. We kept in mind a number of things such as affordability, reliability, clarity, and much more.

I personally think that this site is the best when it comes to online movie/tv screening because it is very easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. It is a very visual website and you can find just about every movie you can think of. There is a very low monthly price which is a con because nothing beats a free site, however it is affordable. I would definitely recommend this site to a friend.

For a monthly fee of $7.99, I get ENDLESS entertainment. Variety of different genres, binge watching, and original shows. Who could possibly ask for more?! Oh yeah, AND no commercials!
Never a problem, always there.

Always have been good to me. My mom had a subscription for my grandpa, who stopped watching movies due to his eyesight. They actually gave her a refund for months when he had not been using it at all. A good example of business, streaming only is still a good deal, now that they are adding more content.

I love and hate Netflix. I mean where else would you go to watch your favorite tv shows and movies online without illegally downloading them? It's only like $8 a month for unlimited use. The first month is free and you can cancel within that month and they won't charge you. Only thing I don't like is how they rotate the movies. They'll keep the absolutely terrible ones on there and take away the extremely good ones. But I still have an account and they continue to surprise me with the movies and shows they add

I have had Netflix for years & was happy until recently. The last 3 months I have all kinds of issues with buffering, shows not playing when I want to see them & the customer service department in India does not understand English well enough to understand what the problem is. So many choices now... time to put Netflix to bed for me

I enjoy the idea of Netflix - I used to order DVDs that would come in the mail back when that was all it was. Being able to stream movies, shows, and documentaries for such a cheap price monthly is great. The only downfall is that there's rarely anything really good on Netflix, and when there is, they usually take it off pretty soon.

I've had Netflix on and off for 8 years. Nothing has changed except the way they present the shows. At one time you could look for something that caught your interest but now they present movies on a couple of selections you make when you sign up. If you happen to select a movie that is crap and stop watching because you can't stand the show or movie they then present you with selections based on what you watched, more crap. Most of the movies are second rated at best. Has been actors, subtitled, etc. After 8 years of a month or two of watching I notice they still have some of the shows to present that were available 8 years ago.

Worth it for the money - a reasonable selection of movies and TV, reasonable price, works really well on my phone, tablet and laptop. Had a couple of glitches in the past but these have always been ironed out quickly!

Horrible service. They double billed me for almost a year and actually acknowledged it. They said they could only credit back 1 month and I would have to get my bank to credit the rest. Turns out my bank only credits for the last 60 days. So I lost most of the over payments for the 2nd, unneeded account for the last year. Netflix has the worst customer service.

I like this service. Netflix has a very user-friendly application interface, a huge selection of movies and TV series. It should also be noted that Netflix itself finances most projects. Although Netflix adheres to the strategy of making more films than quality, there are still very decent series or movies. In the future, this service will develop even more, and I hope for the best.

Love, love, love but they say their records don't go back to the onset of your membership, therefore, if you are being charged on two accounts for the service, they will not refund the money as they state they can't go back that far. Bull!

Do wish they could obtain current movies, at least newer.

Huge selection of TV shows at fair monthly price compared to other streaming services. Yes you're guaranteed to find a few things you like But those things you will like, there's a whole lot there that you won't, you could spend an hour before you find something to watch., I would say it could have so much better movie selection, it definitely needs to improve.

The movies offered on their streaming service are mostly quite old and new releases are only available by signing up for the DVD option (extra $$). Also, their list of new releases usually does not include the latest releases, and you need to actually know the name of the movie you want and search for it (it is usually there, just not advertised up front). There is no easy way to contact them (like so many online businesses these days). So, 3.5 stars on user friendliness, 4.5 stars on actual delivery of service provided (which is pretty good overall).

Honestly $#*! Netflix. You can no longer share an account outside of the account holders household. I share an account with my parents(or used to), and have been on it for years. But now all of a sudden I can no longer use Netflix without paying for my own account? We all share a phone plan as well and Netflix is included in that phone plan. But because I don't live in the same household I don't have access to a feature in a phone plan I also help pay for. Media platforms have just become a cash grab. Greedy $#*! companies that only care about their money. I will never use Netflix again.

All I will say about Netflix is that they have plenty of movies for everyone's taste and it really is a great value for steaming and dvd rentals. Also it help those people who have consistently paid overdue rental fees. Overall great business model that they make money and customers are happy.

Limited use when I pay for service. Only my household is allowed to use Netflix service. But Netflix will not let me use the service when I travel.even tho I pay for it. Also they change their policy with OK accept only. In which that how a Democratic business is run. Control with with agreement only. Always give agree are disagree opinion. I only use our account first us. We are not thieves and I use your service for my household. So we should use it where we go. Motels, my commercial truck. We have not giving account are password out. But Netflix has restricted my uses even this I pay for it. My suggestion is look at IP data its not that hard or make a call I give you the IP I use it on. Very easy. Instead of blocking a paying customer.

Stream freezing and obvious weaknesses in server ability and capacity makes for frustrating viewing experience, but hey! As long as I'm making money and movies and other programs, what do I care about who's watching and paying? Right Netflix? That's a shabby business model for a shabby streaming service.

Netflix has to be the worst. It freezes all the time and when I tried to call they said they can't help me. They want you to pay 20 dollars for poor service. Why would anyone do that. It will not let you stay on to watch a movie it just brings you back to the Home Screen. They also will not let you get your money back you have to keep something all month that does not work. Out of 5 stars they have a 1.5 rating and they took the review page off because they said too many people were complaining

I don't pay for regular tv. No dish and no cable bill. I rely on netflix for all my tv viewing with the exception of 2 free channels I get from my antenna. It annoys me that you can search on the website and find a lot more shows and movies available than what it shows you when you search on your tv. They also have removed some really good old shows like MASH. Over all I'm happy with Netflix vs Amazon and Hulu... I can't get either of those to work on my tv without it constantly stopping to re buffer. I don't have that problem with Netflix. I live in a small town that doesn't offer very many internet options, so it's very limited for me and the speed I get is not the greatest. Netflix loads just fine even on a slow connection like mine. I have two smart tv's and I have noticed that it also depends on which version of Netflix you have on your smart tv. The one in my bedroom is newer and and harder to navigate.

A disgusting company that only cares about money and not the viewers experience or their own writers. They cut shows before they're complete before their contracts take full effect so they don't get payouts. Anyone who travels now can't use their platform and it's obvious the only thing they care about is their bottom line. With so many streaming platforms now, it is not worth the price. Disgusting behavior.
