Netflix has a rating of 2.5 stars from 1,822 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Netflix most frequently mention customer service, credit card, and good movies problems. Netflix ranks 2nd among Streaming Movies sites.
Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
I have contacted both Samsung and Netflix to help with this issue and they both blame each other. I can access Netflix on all my other devices, but not on the Samsung TV. When I try to log in it says my details do not match Netflix records even though I have tried to carefully log in several times.
My TV is a 2003 Samsung model: UA55F6400
Samsung says that Netflix will not update their App to work on this model. Netflix says it is a Samsung issue. Very frustrating to say the least.
Where else can you get all that Netflix provides for 8 bucks a month? Sure, their streaming library pales in comparison to their DVD library, but this is because TV and film publishers are changing far more for streaming rights than they do for their DVDs. And the only reason for that is they have various conflicts of interest with Netflix -- they would like Netflix to go away so the cable companies can have even more control over what you can watch than they already do. Sticking with Netflix is not only a bit of a protest against the Media Oligarchies, but more practically, it supports quality, actual ORIGINAL programming that those same Media Oligarchs have zero control over.
I travel a lot, on my last travel to Chile I had like 1/5 amount of movies I have when I log in inside USA! I am not sure if this is cause they have to upload subtitles or there is something else going on.
Love netflix! Great shows, wonderful price, site is superb, customer service is amazing and quick. I gave it 4 stars only because I wish it had a little bit more of what I like to watch
Just reactivated my Netflix account, it seems my $7.99 turned into $9.19. Now granted that's still reasonable and I know taxes are high but there's not $1.20 tax on $7.99. I hate to be lied to.
Most of us try to keep track of all our favorite movies and TV shows but sometimes it's very difficult with most of our busy schedules. Netflix, Hulu and Sidereel are three of many sites that allow us to track the things that we want to watch. Watching our favorite videos online saved us money and time. We can watch something faster online since there are less commercials (usually saves about 15 min.) it's also cheaper than going to the movies or renting a video for a night. Using these sites we can watch them from anywhere in the world at a convenient hour.
Netflix is a really great site since it has thousands of movies and TV shows to choose from. I personally really like the fact that it has no commercials. I think that Netflix should update their site daily so that the viewers can watch a show that was shown the night before. I also wish that Netflix was more affordable since the prices are a little high. But overall it's a fantastic site and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Where do I start?! Netflix was a great up and coming platform, 5.99 for unlimited shows and hit movies. As time as changed and new platforms dropped pulling their star content from Netflix, making all the shows and movies left strictly NETFLIX, that big red N on every title. This was my go to streaming platform but every show they put out they have cancelled it within 4-5 season to "pursue" other content that doesn't measure up to the previous. Now paying almost 12 dollars for 1 screen I think my time with Netflix has come to a close! I think I will finish all the shows I'm am currently watching which isn't a lot. Maybe 3 or 4 and once I finished I'm sorry Netflix but you will be removed from my monthly payment line up. For that same 12 I can get 2 more streaming platforms that has a lot more content I will watch rather than getting hooked on a tv show and find out Netflix has cancelled the show without warning. I've been faithful to Netflix For almost 8 years and it's not going to hurt me one bit when I click cancel my subscription bc nothing is worth watching on Netflix anymore
Especially compared to my Spectrum/Time Warner (rip off) cable bill, Netflix is one of the few great deals in my budget. $8.57 for unlimited streaming, good shows and movies of the kind I like to watch.
I do however, hate the new Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down rating system like so many do. A lot of the things I watch, I don't even bother to rate anymore unless I write a review. The 5 star system was great and 6 starts would have been even better. I don't know why big corporations think they have to keep changing something that works just fine. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!
Customer Service is very, very hard to get in touch with. It takes a lot of time and effort to get connected to a real human being. Once you do, they are actually very nice and helpful. (He was even an American without an accent!) I do not like the fact that Netflix obviously does not want to be bothered by their own customers.
On shows that I am thinking about watching, I'd like to see the overall star rating for all viewers.
One last thing, I would love an option to click "stop showing this". Sometimes I will start a movie or show that I end up hating and will never finish but have to see that show on the section that says "Continue watching".
Overall, the best deal for the money but all of the changes made recently are negative.
I spoke with a customer support specialist today about a year long issue and was told that it was basically my fault for thinking that the previous Netflix customer service representative did their job. I called in a year ago to let them know that I suspected fraud and was told either change your password or cancel the account and open a new account. I chose to cancel the account and open a new account with payment through another source. Fast forward a year. They have been billing me through two accounts and told me since I didn't finish the cancellation process, I was just paying for someone to watch Netflix for free, for a year. Question: If you already suspected fraud on your account, would you be willing to give anyone your account number? Well, because I didn't do that and trusted that the customer support person would cancel my account. I have paid almost $200 for a hacker to have free Netflix for a year. That's not the icing on the cake. Then, the representative from today says, "By the way, there is no way someone can get your information to get into your account." Yeah, right. She clearly told me that the account was being used and that the user was in another country. Yeah, I don't have friends in Asia Boo! It gets better! They told me that they could only reimburse me for one of the twelve months. Buyer beware! Hopefully, your account never gets hacked! It is more common than Netflix leads people to believe...
Netflix has terrible shows and movies and when they happen to get a good one they always take it off. Anyways dont forget to like and subscribe.

PLEASE DO THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS
Charged my account twice a month before I caught it and would not reverse the charges, rep said it was my fault. I liked the shows they offered but cancelled due to bad customer service
I often find myself scrolling for ages looking for a decent film to watch, and i wish they would update their lists more often. There are loads of series to see however so that's good.
Price keeps going up while programming gets worse. Canceled after over a decade and even though I complained about their programming for over the past year, it just continued to get worse. Bollywood and Asian films, Cooking and Reality Shows, Old-School TV shows...I can watch all of this for free on Pluto. Will be subscribing to AppleTV, and a couple Of PBS channels all for what I was paying Netflix monthly for...I need new and fresh content, otherwise why pay for a subscription for the same programming that I left cable for, Ciao Netflix

Streaming Service for movies and entertainment
My options are hulu or Netflix. Thus far Netflix takes the cake every single time. Hulu only wins on occasion with a quicker update on shows (very few of them)
They created a platform where you can get everything that is in your tv. It means all your programs and movies can get streamed at anytime. Their charges are fair.
Netflix might have a good selection of movies, series and shows... but it is very difficult to search. I cannot believe that nowadays Netflix cannot provide a better searching method.
Price raise and service cutbacks relegates to being in stiff competition with less known black market internet streamers. Why pay for commercials when you can have them pay for you?.!
Unfortunately since I got Netflix in 2016, it seems as if the streaming service Netflix has gone down hill canceling almost every new tv show they come out with, rarely adding new shows or movies and as said above they cancel everything they add And Upper the price for no justifications.
Netflix overcharges for the amount of movies given. Now they want to charge more. Cancel your subscription. It's only gonna get more expensive and it certainly not worth the headache. Not fair all these changes are happening in certain countries yet you don't see United States on that list? Talk about garbage I hope this company goes under and everyone understand what a money grab this program is. It was good at the beginning now everyone is constantly watching things they already watched for what to pay them more unbelievable. So glad we're canceling and highly advise other to do the same. Disney+ is the way to go hopefully they buy all the movies and netflix doesn't get the rights to show them. NETFLIX DOESNT DESERVE TO BE OPERATIONAL!
Tip for consumers:
Don't use Netflix it's garbage. Takes forever to get anything good to watch constantly watching same movies. Way overpriced and in the process of charging more.

I'd give this business a minus 5 if I could. The overseas people they use are USELESS when it comes to understanding American English. They are nothing more then yes people...unable to accomplish anything useful...why does a company like this become so unethical...corporate GREED I would guess. I was thrown into the premium account (NOT GIVEN THE CHOICE WHEN I FIRST SIGNED IN...I tried to change that within the first 24 hours once I saw that on my account...yet it took them about 10 days to change it...I was charged the premium price anyway and they promised to change it and give me a credit...LIARS! It was finally my cable company (Cox) that gave me the credit! NETFLIX IS VERY, VERY, VERY UNETHICAL!

My son had signed up for Netflix and forgot his login information so I called Netflix and not only did they switch the subscription from my sons name to mine but they also gave us the remainder of that month on my subscription and on top of that they gave us a free month totally love Netflix
I am a long time subscriber and have used Watch Instantly for years. But whenever I have added to my queue a long running TV show, I have never been able to watch episodes from beginning to end because Netflix drops the show long before I have finished. The latest TV show just dropped by Netflix was Bones, but this has happened with numerous long running shows such as the original Law And Order which I will never be able to watch completely.
Please put twilight back on Netflix it is my favorite show and I would have to pay five dollars to watch one of them on Amazon prime so if you could be so nice and put twilight back on Netflix it would be greatly appreciated thanks
There is a movie that NetFlix is refusing to remove. It is called "Cuties", directed by Maïmouna Doucouré. It shows 11- and 12-year-old kids twerking naked in a dance competition in front of an audience. Some scenes even show the kids' private parts. To sum it up, it's pretty pathetic that NetFlix is showing this pedophilic crapfest of a movie! They should be ashamed of themselves!
Tip for consumers:
STAY AWAY FROM NETFLIX! THE COMPANY IS STARTING TO SHOW CHILD PORNOGRAPHY!
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
