Netflix has such an extensive library, sometimes I want nothing but to sit and watch the whole day long. That's EXACTLY what I (and you!) shouldn't do. For heaven's sake stop sitting at your screen!

I belong to this tech discussion site where someone asked "What are the best films on Netflix" and everyone listed about the same 20. Which reminds you the selection is not that wide.
Then there was the Narcos fiasco.
They already had a 60 segment drama about Pablo Escobar made in Colombia of very good quality. Netflix decides to spare no expense to make their own version seen through the eyes of 2 clueless US DEA agents?!

The alleged formula for suggestions base on your ratings of other films is a bad joke. I do not have to rate anything on Amazon and they manage to get my book and movie suggestions spot on. I always have to turn off the "chosen for you" because it is always junk they want to dump on me rather than reflecting my choices.

I do not like their original programming. HBO and Showtime are much better.

Nevertheless, for daring, innovation, originality and foreign films it is brilliant. Also incredibly inexpensive. Did I forget customer service? Terrific. Some helpful person answers the phone instantly.

Generally very good

Aside from shows buffering slowly (which could very easily be my ISP's fault, though Netflix isn't perfect) Netflix has been a very enjoyable experience for me. Lots of great original content coming out. No ads (extremely huge plus, probably the biggest). I haven't had to deal with their customer service before so I can't comment on that.

Suggestions:
- Please change the rating system to make it so: you can turn it off, you can show the AVERAGE USER REVIEW (most people would probably use this), the Netflix recommended for you rating (which is often inaccurate), and the IMDB score if possible (not sure about the legality of using their name on your site as a main feature)
- Put some kind of clear and immediate way to remove something from your Continue Watching list if you don't want to continue watching it
- Please add more genres in the Browse section
- Make it a point to get more Academy Award films (maybe even make it a genre, and then sort by award section)

European Netflix

I moved to Europe... the question is: why would I pay the same price if here in Europe I have nothing. The series are all way behind. NO greys anatomy or shameless. I am still paying those money. Have the same account and I WANT THE SAME SHOWS I HAD!

Movies and Shows on Netflix before 1999 are fairly normal. Everything after 1999 is filled with every Disgusting Unmoral Degenerate Freak that they could put in (Gay, Lesbian, Non-Binary, Face Tattooed, Nose/Eyebrow/Tongue Pierced Circus Side Show Freak). I have never seen so much Trash in one place in my life. Cannot tell you how many Shows and Movies that looked Great and we started watching, only to turn off after seeing the Disgusting people that were cast in these Shows and Movies. Netflix must think that 80% of America is filled with Degenerates…Definitely not anything that you would want your Children to Watch!

I am canceling netflix for several reasons. I have been a customer since the day they started. Today i plan to cancel. As a family that travels often they want us to sign in over and over. Ridiculous!

We have had the same accounts forever! Their shows are limited and boring. Not enough documenties or educational programs. I
Thete is no way to soeak to a suoerviser so employees torture customers. They have no one to limit their power. Netflix you should be what ylu were when you come into play.

I enjoy about 90% of the Netflix original programming and find the site fairly easy to navigate on the various platforms I use (Apple TV, XBOX 360, Safari web browser on my MacBook Air, iPad Mini 4 and IPhone 7). I havent had too many instances when I needed to contact their customer service department but when I have, my issue has always been promptly & completely resolved.

Netflix confused

I don't get it- you can watch shows on Netflix as they air i. E Designated Survivor and yet Netflix is always 1 or 2 seasons behind on other really good shows i. E Line of Duty.
Thats my only gripe.
