Netflix has a rating of 2.5 stars from 1,822 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Netflix most frequently mention customer service, credit card, and good movies problems. Netflix ranks 2nd among Streaming Movies sites.
Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
Pretty pathetic. Movies or TV shows in "my list" shpw up in multiple places. Things I"ve already watched show up in other places than "because you already watched". No more sorting by rating. Another price increase coming.
Netflix is one of the original streaming service, and they seem only to get better and better. They have a very large catalog, and the value for money is excellent. They allow multiple users on one account without any extra price.
Thousands of movies! The movies are rated by viewers and we have plenty of choice. No ads and no distractions. Apart from movies the documentaries, on faith &spirituality, talk shows, tv shows are to my liking. Finest way to spend in leisure.
I recently watched a few original titles and have to say that I think Netflix will take over the movie production world. Between stranger things and daredevil I have thoroughly enjoyed the ability to watch things on their service that I can't elsewhere. Binge watching to the max!
We still like Netflix, however, I have to agree with that last reviewer. There are too many Netflix produced shows that have needless and detailed sex scenes, Orange is the New Black, Mindhunter, etc. I really don't enjoy seeing the oral sex scenes and are they necessary to the plot? Gross! Also, in the Stranger Things-when I grew up in the 80's we kids didn't cuss that much!
We've subscribed to Netflix for many years, and it seems like even as they keep raising prices the dvd mailing gets slower and slower, and their choices for both dvd and streaming are getting thinner and thinner. We have always used Netflix and minimized TV, but I think it is time to look at better alternatives.
Netflix is following the path of blockbuster. Get with the times and recognize that people don't want to drop multiple hundreds of dollars on multiple streaming services. They remove any show they make that's enjoyed despite positive reviews and if your family tries to save money by sharing an account they penalize you for that too. These greedy corporations are why pirating is coming back. Make it easy to get the content people want, and the product gets purchased. Make it hard, and people give you the finger and find workarounds. Learn from your mistakes Netflix and you might see our money again.
I enjoy watching movies on netflix but the way categories are sorted makes me want to cancel my subscription. I wish they could have non english speaking movies in their own category. Just because l clicked on one only to find that it had foreign language now they suggest tones of themito watch.
Secondly they should make it a way that we can remove movies that we have watched from the lists, that way we can view other movies out there
If you have problem you may not get an answer you will understand when calling as the calls are either answered in the middle east or middle eastern people answer the calls here. First situation is more probable.
... and BINGE! From everything including an assortment of comedic and dramatic series; including their award winning titles-- to important documentaries and a yin yang of movies! What's missing? Nothing much-- except their version of a daily/nightly News.
I love the new Netflix party button available on chrome. It lets me and my long distance boyfriend be able to watch and hear movies properly. The only thing I would change is the amount of new movies to old movies. We need new content not movies weve seen ten years ago
Netflix can you please stop with all the series we don't need that many series we need movies new movies. Every time I look for something it's the same movies from six years ago that's still on here and it's just ridiculous that you spent all your money making series please for the new year change! I don't even bother to get it I use my friend account. Also the series that I did like years ago, you never brought back for a season two it was the series with Regina King, and hitting a little boy on a bike. I like actually liked that
I have been subscribed to Netflix for about five years. I love it from the tv shows to the movies. I don't even mind wanting for another season of anything. Just so I can watch what I want when I want without commercials.
I did away with my tv and the cable company with their high costs. Now I can watch what I want when I want. There are many movies I've never seen and tv series I missed available at any time of the day!
For 2-3 months there has been a bug on Netflix that Netflix 'will fix soon' and they still haven't.
I get Netflix Error M7353-5101, go through all the troubleshooting steps, tried different browser etc and nothing fixes it.
I was frustrated and contacted customer support and spoke to a manager, Kiran, was unsympathetic and unhelpful with the situation.
They said 'it will be fixed soon' as always and offered no compensation for the frustration it has caused. In fact Kiran just simply said 'I suggest you watch another title'. What terrible customer support.
With this new anti-password sharing movement, the Netflix app continously kicks me out and refuses to let me sign back in without going through three different steps of verification. This process is stupid and complicated, and makes me want to quit using this service. Netflix is making it harder for people to access their account because they are GREEDY. $#*! Netflix.
We've had Netflix for years. Love the low monthly prices, and the DVD rental plan. We don't even mess with Redbox anymore, because we get DVD's shipped directly to us. Plus they provide you with e prepaid envelope to send the DVD back in. They have just about every DVD you can think of, new releases and classics! Also, they have great Netflix original series, tons of popular tv shows, and movies! I would DEFINITELY recommend Netflix! Plus no contracts!
Netflix, just keeps getting better and better. I have the online version of Netflix and love it. So, I can just imagine the movies being sent/mailed out. The people who have the movies sent to them, have a wider and better selection of movies to watch. However, I'm quite satisfied with the online "line up" of movies. If you love movies and TV series, documentaries and lots more, you will love Netflix. They even have movie icons that you can create for each family member, that way each family member can keep track of their own movie selections. I can't do nothing but highly recommend them due to my personal experience. I love them.
Aren't allowed to share an account anymore so now it's an additional £10.99 a month for each user. The whole website is an absolute scam, they don't care at all about their customers nor their writers. They cancel all of their good shows, not worth paying for at all!
I've had Netflix since 2009, and have been for the most part happy with my continued subscription. It's well worth the cost and with it constantly updating and expanding you don't have to worry about it falling behind the technological curve. The issues with netflix are that the good titles that everybody wants to keep seeing are the ones that most often are taken off and unless you can watch any movie for the sake of watching a movie the selection of worth while shows and videos run out rather quickly creating a rather accurately described "show hole" where there is nothing new to watch. The exclusives are without a doubt amazing though and with them constantly being produced it can go without being said that netflix is definitely worth if for just the exclusives alone.
The Netflix app has alot of issues. I restart my phone 3 times yesterday and still didn't work. I even went on the play store to update it thinking maybe it is an old version but the movie still would not play. So had to go to the Disney app to watch something. But what if i didn't have another option? All the movie apps on my are playing besides Netflix. Showmax, prime and disney all good. And this is the dynamic of Netflix while watch an interesting series if you pause to go get something to eat it refuses to play. Please assist with the development of the app. Thanks
It's the best streaming online video option available right now. It works great. The que is the best, and it doesn't have enough competition right now. Well worth the $8 for streaming. I will probably be cancelling my dvd service with them with the rise in price, but I will def. Keep my streaming service.
I don't use Netflix as often as I did when I first got but it is still a good value for your money. They recently went up from 8.50 to around 10.00 but it is still a good value for all the movies and tv shows available.
I have had Netflix for 3 years now and I am loving the experience. I especially like that they are getting more shows sooner. I like the array of family and kid friendly shows.
Just like any other internet based service they have their problems, but they are minimal.
Love Netflix, this is better than subscribing to cable! You will have plenty to choose from! Can use on phone and computers. You will not regret this purchase! Check out for free for one month and you will be addicted!
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
