I've always loved Netflix. When my mom figured out she could get Netflix I said "whats Netflix" she said "Netflix is an app where you can watch movies you like all the time without being bumed you can't get it because you don't want to pay money or your parents said no because they did not want to pay for it so Netflix is a way where you and your family can enjoy a movie in pease and quiet. Download the app today.
I live in a rural mountain area and that means no access to things like cable televion. Thank goodness for Netflix! I love them for being able to order movies on disk delivered to my mailbox and now that we finally have some almost decent internet, I have become hooked on their great original programming - Luther, Stranger Things, Frontier, The Crown and on and on. We've been with Netflix since day one. It's the go-to in our house and a whole lot cheaper than pay-per-view on DirecTV.
Okay i love netflix, i'm always watching something on netflix but criminal mind is my favorite show and they took it off they have taken it off many times i'm asking very nicely for netflix to put it back on and if they don't i will be very upset i'm talking like i will delete netflix and cancel my payments and so will many other criminal minds fans we do not play about our show, please consider putting criminal minds back on... thank you
I have been with Netflix since close to the beginning. I have become a huge fan of their streaming and their original programming. My only wish is that there were more movies and older TV shows that could be streamed. This is a product of licensing and not a result of the efforts of Netflix. Definitely recommend!
They slow it down, then display problems. Happened this year and years ago. Cheap. I can go any where, and there streamling is by far better. I'm done tomorrow. One computer, one tv. They charged me for 4 tv's and one computer
I loved Netflix years ago when I first subscribed. Now, it seems the quality of shows and movies has decreased. The number of foreign language shows seems to be a huge proportion of what is available now. Even a lot of the Netflix originals are foreign language. Of course, the subscription cost continues to increase too. If a show or movie is high quality, I don't mind reading the subtitles. One of the odd things is some of the shows or movies allow you to select the dialogue in English but what the actors say in English does not match the closed captions. Don't get me wrong I love some of the foreign language programs such as the Indian films Article 15 and The Forgotten Army and some of the Korean shows - The Man From Nowhere, etc and some other foreign language programs. Netflix needs to tighten its quality controls for selecting programs available to subscribers.
So much stuff not on the Canadian version it is improving though just got the us version of shameless so happy about that oh and the fighter but back to my point Canada should be on the same page as us just saying
I am pretty happy with my Netflix service over the years. I like that there are different movie catagories, and they give me other ideas of movies to watch based on my previous viewing history. There are some things that I continue to search for on there that they still do not offer, which is why I give it a 4 out of 5.
The best way to use netflix is to join for a month or two and then try to cancel. When you cancel, they will prompt you for a lower rate and give you special deals. Then, you can rejoin for cheaper than before. Or, you can quit entirely and they will try to entice you back with even better deals. Sure it takes a little bit of effort, but it is worth the cheaper rate to try and quit and rejoin later on.
No more going to the video store for me, blockbuster and their late fees can kiss my money goodbye.
F*ck Netflix for Cancelling The OA. Its a great Show. My fiance and I just watched it after wondering what the big deal about the show was. Its mind blowing. Great Television. Netflix seems to cancel all the Best Shows.
Cost Effective and way better than that paid for Cable. Cable prices are ridiculous and with their pricing, due to current economy prices, don't they show. How much they care which is None. Netflix is the way.
If you're looking to use Netflix to watch movies or newly released movies, it is not the place. Most titles I have searched Netflix does not have. They are always adding & removing movies too which is frustrating when you go to watch one of the FEW good movies they have & it is no longer there. However, I have always loved Netflix for watching tv shows. I have used it to binge watch series & watch series that are no longer on the air. Unfortunately now I am considering cancelling my Netflix subscription altogether as they have removed several tv series I have always gone to them to watch, & they are going to continue removing tv shows and movies. Netflix is the place to go if you're looking for absolutely trashy movies that have never been heard of before, and the few good tv shows it has left before they remove those too within the next couple months. Not a fan.
I just had the best help(Jeffery) from Netflix. I had just finish watching "The Return" and start on season 2 and there was know subtitle and I could not understand what happen... so I call and Jeffery took his time to help me get that "sub-title in English". OMG! Netflix you have the best employee, they are better then the cable employee. THX Jeffery:-) Hugs! Hugs!
I love the fact they keep adding new shows! Their product is of great quality and I appreciate that they removed the ratings, I've ended up watching things I wouldve never watched if I had seen the star rating. Netflix is a must have service.
Is it me or is there more international movies on Netflix now more than anything else; especially in the dramas. I am having a hard time trying to find good movies that I like that speak English. I am not in the mood to be trying to read and keep up with the speed of the actors every movie. That is too much work and when watching movie you want to be relaxed (don't you)? Netfix I understand you trying to cater to customers all around the world but got to remember your massive English only fan base is still here as well.
I use Netflix to watch things with friends around the world. It's great for that. However, one thing that is so annoying is the "Are you still watching this title?" message that interrupts playing shows. If I am paying for Netflix and I have it on, what does it matter if I am actively sitting there watching it? I work from home and have it playing in the background often. But, I constantly have to get up and click that I'm still watching it. Why? Just let it play! I'm so sick of it, that I'm looking for alternatives.
Ok! Whoever came up with this concept is a genius and probably a millionaire by now. If you have a good internet connection that can handle streaming, you will not have any problems with Netflix. I have to say that I do not like the app as much on my phone as I do on my TV but that is because of how it indexes. I have tried Hulu (which I HATE and could never understand) and other similar apps and hands down Netflix is the best in the business... as of now!
First, I love Netflix. I live 20 miles from town and even 1/2 a mile from our mailbox. I put one in the mail, they get it the next day and I get the new one the day after. I have a 2 dvds out at once subscription. One I use for movies and the other for TV shows. When they started the extra cost for streaming I was surprised so many people were angry. I read a angry comment on one report where a woman stated she used to subscribe to a plan with 4 dvds out at once. When they offered free streaming she cut down to one and she wonders why they had to start charging separately and threatens to cancel! Sounds to me like it was just a matter of time for the loss of profits to start. I didn't stream anyway and actually pay less for dropping it. The real crime here is the cost of high speed internet that is fast enough to stream. You have to spend $60 to $80 a month to get speeds that fast! In these hard times that could go for rent, food, utilities, gas. I can't afford it.
I was never a big fan of paying for cable, especially since I'm not home long enough to take in more than 1-2 hours a day of tv. For the most part I just kept the tv on so the house wasn't dead-quiet and I didn't feel so alone when my husband wasn't home. He introduced me to Netflix when we got married, and I am so glad he did! We cancelled the expensive cable bill and only pay $8 a month for some REALLY GOOD shows! We have actually bonded with more closely with friends and family through the series of shows Netflix has to offer. Love the variety, love that there is no commercials and that we can take it wherever we go (mobile app) and laptops. Between our amazon prime shows and Netflix, we never feel like we missing cable tv or the $100 bill we used to pay! Highly recommend it, get it now!
Netflix, I love you so much! But, some series are too strange to understand. Russian Doll... It just seems to be a never ending loop of watching annoying people. And that includes Natasha Bianca Lyonne Braunstein who is basically playing the same kind of character personality as she did in Orange is the New Black.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.
