Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
I just love this streaming service. I am a great fan of Marvel universe and I just love their movies. Also, series of marvel shows from Netflix couldn't just got pass my attention. I love watching Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure your internet connection is good.
Used to have streaming and 1 dvd/month. However, somehow I couldn't stream onto my computer anymore with silverlight(?). I will probably renew the streaming part when my daughter comes home from college because she watches more tv programs that she missed while she was at school. Was going to stop netflix, but I like to get tv series from HBO and Starz.
Canceled my subscription. Changed over to peacock for 9.99 a month after Netflix raised my rates to 19.99 a month. Jerk off netflix.
Netflix itself SUCKS anyway. All the new movies are international. I don't want to watch garbage where the voiceovers have no emotion and don't match the character.
Tip for consumers:
Use peacock instead

Bad movies over priced
I bought a Roku so that I can watch Netflix from any room. I had already cancelled my DVD orders due to the price increase and the arrogance of the CEO who stated, "The increase is nothing more than a latte". My Roku worked fine with Netflix until recently. Currently, it will not connect, and I know that it is not Roku because everything else on Roku works.
Does Netflix WANT to go out of business? I will now cancel my Netflix streaming and watch their stock continue to plummet. FYI, after the increase, the stock went form over 300 to approximately 60. I no longer want to deal with this ineffective company. There are many alternatives.
Honestly I'm a type of person. I need the TV on to get sleep. I have a sleeping disorder, and when the TV goes off I end up waking up. I'm lucky if I get 4 hours sleep at night, and that's with waking up every 30 minutes every 20 minutes. I'm tired of this Netflix asking... Are you still watching? Man you guys got to f*** off with that s***. I'm paying for it. It's not costing you any money. It's coming out of my pocket. Leave the goddamn programs running. If I want to f****** leave it running non-stop. That's my business. I pay for my hydro. I paid for my TV. If I want to burn it out I pay for my internet. Leave the goddamn thing running. Stop asking if I'm still watching it. If I'm not watching the goddamn TV then I would shut off wouldn't it? I would have it shut off. Wouldn't I? Stop f****** asking if I'm watching still leave the TV on?
Lots of content, original content, excellent quality content, site and application organization. Many new films and TV series in 4K HDR quality - Dolby Vision; there is noticeably more duplicate content; beautiful and user-friendly interface; you can always find something to your liking; monthly content update. Currently watching Ratched! Recommend this movie!
Well for all you Netflix people that like to leave the country and use Nexflix good luck. You now can only have an account and watch Netflix in the country you reside. Sorry, you can not buy Netflix in another country if you are not from that country. Buh-Bye Netflix. Please share!
Great quality of content and great monthly deals. I love that Netflix has such a great variety of movies and TV shows to watch and they keep creating new TV shows as well! I just finished The Haunting of Hill house and I fell in love with the show! Netflix, please keep adding such great TV shows in the future!
It seems that Netflix is targeting subscribers that are unable to buy a new TV. We are on a fixed income and cannot afford to buy a new TV. Netflix recently informed us that our TV will no longer be supported. Now I will have to scrape off the Netflix button that came with the TV remote control.
I was kind of happy with netflix before 2023, when suddenly they decided to dramatically raise their prices:(
I wonder why, though, because often you can't find many movies on netflix, no matter how well known they are. In addition, yoh don't have the option to switch to basic languages such as Italian for example, or you can't see, over here in Spain, what customers from other parts of the world can.
In short, they have become OVERLY EXPENSIVE.
There are more affordable alternatives nowadays, so: Bye bye baby!

Streaming service
Very easy site to use. Easy to find movies, add them to the queue, change the queue order.
Some things could be improved though. The streaming movies to the PC can be a bit choppy at times. In mid movie I had to wait 15 minutes for it to re-buffer. Even if it wasn't Netflix's fault due to throttled bandwidth, it could be a much better experience. Browsing movies can also be a bit cumbersome in a category since you only see 5 at a time.
Hulu and Netflix, maybe GOHBO, stream over the internet, dump the cable company. Cable companies are horrible, and why watch programming on their schedule anyway? On-demand programming is the future. Scheduled programming is so over.
We can't get away from all the ANNOYING woke politics in almost EVERY show.
I definitely give them a for all shows that barf the irritating throwing racism and trans propaganda in our faces.
We just want to exit the stressful $#*!tyness of our current world, but NOPE. More propaganda. Sneaky propaganda
I absolutely love Netflix a lot, i love binge watching shows. Binge watching house of cards that show is facinatingly evil. Anyway love netflix enjoy all the different series and love binge watching when i have time which is not a lot. But when i do its fun. Its awesome!
So spam and fake, send spam messages all the time. I really do not like their sendingmessages all the time, and keeps changing account, like every half hour a new account would send another spam message.
Customer service for streaming is great. DVD customer service hours are severely limited. DVD employees are paid less than streaming employees. I was a member of Netflix streaming and DVD for years. I just unsubscribed to streaming, as they don't have a lot of videos I want.
I have a real love-hate relationship with Netflix. The webpage overall is pretty cool and the movies and the series load really fast an all BUT i really dislike the content. Way to mindless and boring for my taste. Perhaps the only really good thing that netflix has is Dark and Peaky Blinders.
Although I no longer subscribe to Netflix, I always liked having instant access to movies and T. V. shows. I started out with online streaming and DVDs but then switched to only online streaming. I stopped getting DVDs because there was not much variety to my liking and then completely unsubscribed because during the last few months I had them, whenever I thought of a movie or show I really wanted to watch, it wasn't available for streaming so I found myself using it less and less. Although it wasn't for me, I would still recommend it.
It's not a website - it's a window into filmography and describes 90% of my downtime. Yes, I am biased - and use Netflix every day I've even paid for my family to use this service, as they have their own viewing habits. I like the feature to set up different accounts and I also enjoy the email/whatsapp notification for a new series link or episode. It's one of the few websites which has changed the way I spend my leisure time and I think concept for investing in new netflix shows are funded in a non-traditional, low budget series really supports the fact, I am enjoying TV more now than I have ever watched before.
So, in summary - give netflix your money every month and you'll enjoy every moment of the new series released to your devices. There's no debating the matter. The service is far better than Amazon Prime, Now TV or Apple TV (ive used them all) and wayyyy better than getting a DVD delivered or going to the local video shop (awww, remember those days?)
I had no issues using the NETFLIX mail in and order mail system. Occasionally, I would be mailed the wrong movie, or the CD was unreadable. I wanted to rent more movies at once, and I couldn't get enough, so I stopped being their customer.
We started using the NETFLIX online service.
BOO HISS! Though the T. V. online selection was usually fairly good, we frequently encountered the same basic problems. Those problems were often HUGE!
We would load the movie, and get to watch maybe
15-20 minutes, and then suddenly, the movie would just freeze. It sometimes took an additional 25 minutes to load again, we would get to watch sometimes only 10 more minutes before it would freeze again.
Thumbs DOWN! If I was allowed to put zero Stars, I would.
Same programs and films very rarely updates, spend most of the time looking at the load screen and it isn't my Internet as everything else works fine. Definitely not worth what they are charging.
Tip for consumers:
Go with another provider
They new policies... on sharing with a family member we'll it's defnot longer family TV, since not all kids live under the same roof and go of to college it doesn't mean they not longer a family, since you aren't a presenter in your own house and do go on holidays, stay over friends house or go on a trips around UK it's total disregard for a consumer. Leave netflix ppl more rules will come and price is keep going up... seriously go fish Mr Greg P, you are greedy hope netfilx lose aloooooot
I got rid of cable five years ago - got Netflix about two years later and it was the best decision ever. For $10 bucks a month I get all the movies and tv shows I could ever need to keep me entertained (some of the content is lacking, but there's definitely more GOOD than bad). Big fan of a lot of the original series like Bojack Horseman and Kimmy Schmidt.
I have been a member with NETFLIX since 2000, off and on, when they were delivering DVDs. I use to absolutely love them because of their price and large selection. Now I'm not so sure. I might not stay with them much longer. My daughter has always been attached to my account and now they charge extra. Plus they said they would have more Disney movies. They went up on the price and they have the same movies on forever. I could not have Netflix for like 4 months, rejoin and then boom the SAME movies. And I still see the same rinky dink Disney movies that they had before! I have AMazon as well and they are about the same. Netflix is a little better as far as decent movies. But the good thing about Amazon was I made one payment of 50 bucks and I'm good all year. I wish Netflix offered that as well but I'm afraid it would be to expensive.
We pay a huge price just to be told who can use our app or watch our account! That SHOULD NOT BE UP TO NETFLIX! We pay for the damn app! It should be our decision who we want to use our app regardless of where they live. Unacceptable! Netflix needs to get a clue before they lose their clientele to another company. So pissed right now!
Netflix offers streaming movies and TV shows in addition to a DVD by mail rental service.
