Netflix has a rating of 2.5 stars from 1,822 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Netflix most frequently mention customer service, credit card, and good movies problems. Netflix ranks 2nd among Streaming Movies sites.
Netflix is my go-to streaming service for its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to discover new favorites, and the personalized recommendations help me find content tailored to my interests. I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized viewing experiences. The monthly subscription fee is well worth the endless hours of entertainment
I'm disappointed that Netflix has added adds now. This was one of the major draws of a streaming service and now you have to watch adds or pay a premium to not have them. Very annoying. Also, I hate how most of the Netflix originals most of the time are not family friendly. There is often so much foul language and sexual content that the majority of the time, if I see that it is a Netflix original, I just skip over it. Shows don't have to have all of that to be good. Wish they would stop feeling like they have to add more and more of it.
Overall, it's pretty good, but doesn't always have what I want. On rare occasions it does come out with some awesome original content (like Tiger King or The Witcher) which makes it a worthwhile subscription.
When you attempt to cancel your subscription, their system does not provide an option to remove your payment method. Instead, they only allow you to cancel your subscription while retaining your card information, resulting in the unauthorized reactivation of your account. To make matters worse, they proceeded to charge my card for six months without my knowledge. Although I acknowledge my negligence in not monitoring my accounts closely, their actions are both illegal and unethical.
I really like Netflix. I'm surprised at some of the bad reviews. We got a trial run of HBO and Showtime and all they showed were mostly old movies we've seen a thousand times. And, HBO and Showtime are expensive. Netflix is right up-front about what they offer and what they don't. Only complaint I have is I wish there was a way to delete movies listed in certain categories.
Otherwise, I'm with Stephanie... get the popcorn and BINGE!
Unbelievable how much user friendly amazon is than Netflix. Maybe it's an economic issue, I enjoy supporting the underdog if they are up and coming and struggling, but if this is two giants, amazon is more affordable and far superior. 2 cents
Uhm I would like to know why the show "The Game" only has 3 seasons?! How could you cut it off like that. You left out all the good upcoming drama! Please release the other seasons.
Thank you,
Very sad customer(7+) subscription
So Netflix is a huge streaming site as we all know and I am very glad to share an account with a friend of mine, but I honestly think that Netflix asks to much money for the movies and series they own. Yes Stranger Things, Lucifer, Orange is the new Black and many other great Netflix originals are on there, but a lot of movies are not. The fact that you sometimes miss one movie out of a movie trilogy is very annoying. Though understandable I feel like Netflix should just invest in the movies they buy. Don't just buy the last movie that came out, buy the rights to all and leave them on for more than a month.
Purchased subscription for Netflix a couple of months ago at a fantastic monthly rate. In tandem with my Playstation 3, I now have a reliable medium to watch all my favorite movies and television shows when I want without commerical interruptions.
No more expensive monthly fees for special channels via cable and satellite providers. This is the way of the future and Netflix is leading the way.
If you haven't heard of it or checked it out do yourself a favour and do so... you won't regret it..
I used to use it a lot more than I do now, mostly since I pay for two other streaming services. I like the variety of horror movies it offers, which is mainly what I use Netflix to watch lately, as well as some of their original series and the ability to watch Asian Dramas. So while I spend a lot of my time scrolling through the options to then put on something I've seen a million times, I do like that there's a lot to watch. The downside is that if you don't watch something right away, you risk it disappearing before you know it. I wish there was a reminder that would tell you before a movie or tv show on your watch list gets taken off so you're not left wondering where it went.
I have been using netflix to stream movies and I love it. The picture quality is surprisingly good for internet delivery and the variety is decent. They have a better selection through their DVD mail service (which I don't subscribe to, but know because when I do searches sometimes it says a movie is only available on DVD). It's about $9 per month and there are movies, t.v. shows, made for t.v. movies, documentaries, and t.v. specials available to watch. They have a good selection of foreign films. For the price charged you get a good value.
Great but too few titles. Very few movies and documentaries. I love old black and white movies, those jewels that are the essence of today's flm industry. Why can't Netflix have a vast database, sort of like Google, where you can find literally thousands and thousands of movies from every part of the world, instead of a meagre collection...
Last season of Stranger things is amazing! Actors are great and music in background give us a great vibe!
Thanks to Netflix i was able to watch whole season in two days! Cant wait for new season to come. It will be tough to wait 2 years now but I am sure that next season will be blow minded!
I love Netflix and the price a month isn't too bad.
I wish they had a better variety of horror movies though. And not remove shows to make room for new ones... Especially if you love the series that's on, you know what I mean?
Even though there may be some inconsistencies with loading times or videos sometimes failing to load on certain devices, the service you get for the price cannot be beaten. There is a fair selection on there and it seems to be getting better with more big name titles and Netflix originals.
There are many choices to choose from when it comes to you movies and TV shows. Netflix is a great and inexpensive way to catch up on episodes you might have missed. Or just binge out on seasons you missed. One things I found I don't like is...
No other every show or movie is on here. Most are bit a few I wanted just were not available.
Netflix is terrific for being able to watch tons of different movies and television shows. The website provides thousands of different titles ready to watch the second you give the command. My one issue with the site is that not all videos can be streamed, which is a real bummer if one has to wait a couple of days to watch the movie that he or she has ordered. Due to this, I give the website four out of five stars.
I have 4 kids and Netflix for 7.99 a month for movies is great and it keeps my wife busy too :) Great deal, hard to beat! Lots of kid movies, now you may not always get new releases but for the price it is a 5 star product.
I have had Netflix for a little over 3 years and the expansion over that time has really made it worth the money. The one draw back is I have 5 tablets, 5 smart TVs, 2 cell phones, and 3 computers in my home and there has been more than a few times were I have gotten the to many devices. That is about the only drawback I can come up with.
The price is reasonable if it went up any more id leave, you may get a new movie once every 3 months added its really unfair, also American Netflix offers so much more than uk. The horror genre is just poor most of the films in all genres are rubbish b rated movies, I'm not overly impressed really, they give the illusion like there's alot to choose from but 90% of what I watch I give up with because I am bored to tears. This company just takes the micky.

See how losing money feels... But they have the minority vote going for them.

Netflix
Netflix has been going downhill regarding movies and show qualities. Now, they invest in soft child porn with a movie called "Cutie" that is rate for adults, but features 11year old girls, dancing like stripers, and presenting sexual context. This one brings score from 6 to 0. I definitely unsubscribe.
I have to admit, I love the idea of Netflix, and if you order the DVD's, it's great, but the instant streaming leaves a lot to be desired. They have a bad selection, and if you actually look closely at the titles, you will see that about 80% of them are things that did very poorly at the box office. In other words, the things you want to see will not be on there. In addition, when they come out with a new release that is popular, like "Eat, Pray, Love" they only have it on there for a month, then they pull it off! I was halfway through watching it, and had it in my instant queue, and the next day, it's gone. Especially for the price increase, they need to have a lot more movies, (and ones people actually want to watch) available for instant viewing.
I love Netflix!
However, I usually only use the "Instant" feature on my Xbox 360. Whether you get the DVD's or view them via the internet, Netflix is always very quick about getting the movie to you! It saves the hassle of driving to and from the movie rental stores and also supports our postal system!
The quality of videos is wonderful. I just gave it less stars because there are not a lot of shows available on the site that you can watch without ordering in via mail. This is a feature I do not like. However, for what netflix does do, provide access to shows/movies via mail, it does well.
Netflix continues to get rid of some of the best, top rated shows. Meaning their worth is going down. Yet somehow they think they can charge $20/month for more than 2 devices in your home to be playing at one time. Yep, I'm along thousands of others. DONE. FCK Netflix.
Tip for consumers:
Get tf off of Netflix while you can. Adding almost $5/month to use more than 2 devices while I’m already paying $15/month? Gtfo. I’m along with the thousand of others who are realizing Netflix is greedy af. I’m out. And they take the best shows off.

Its a solid platform for tv/movies although they tend to cancel some original shows that get great reviews by audiences. I recently switched to a lower quality version of netflix (no HD) because i dont need it with the current tv i have (and i wanted to save a few bucks). Its led to certain shows needing to buffer or will stop playing the video while the audio continues. Id made the decision to cancel netflix seeing as others using my acc wont be able to since they dont live in the same location. Since that decision the buffering has gotten worse so Im happy to be signing off for good. Also with VPNs if theres a show i really want to watch ill just download it now, i wish id done this sooner and saved some $
