I was slightly apprehensive about how a cake could be posted, but I was wrong to be worried! The cake arrived exactly on time within the promised one hour delivery slot and was so carefully packaged it was in immaculate condition. The cake itself was absolutely stunning with the lightest sponge and just tasted really fresh! I would definitely not hesitate to buy from New Cakes again, great customer service and even better cake :)

I first bought a cake 2 years ago from New Cakes 2 years ago for my 28 year old son. The cake decorators are so talented and can do any design you require. Since then, Been ordering for my son's friends, primarily because I know they do any design i ask for. Not to forget the taste of the cake - that is for me. Prices also very reasonable considering what you get. Will 100% recommend this company to anyone.

I received the cake promptly, unfortunately the ears were damaged. Contracted Jess at Newcakes who immediately arranged a replacement pair of ears which promptly arrived the next day, In excellent condition. I would definitely recommend Newcakes.
I have received about 20 cakes & this is the first time I have had a problem. Will definitely continue using them.

New Cakes have made the birthday cakes for my daughter for the past 2 years, both have been delivered at very short notice, looked amazing, tasted delicious and arrived carefully protected just perfect. For one of those, I even asked them if they could incorporate one of my daughter's Barbies into the design and they were more than happy to do so, nothing was too much trouble. I just posted the barbie to them and a couple of days later got back a beautiful barbie cake made of the best Victoria sponge we have ever had. All the little girls and parents loved it!
Just ordered again from them (once more at very short notice!) a geode cake for this year's birthday and cannot wait for it

Absolutely amazing! I got a bespoke cake made for my son's 15th birthday which I wanted to be unique. It was of a spoof of "Bob Ross" in the Dead Pool Avengers. Beautifully crafted & every detail matched the character, surprise of the night & tasted delicious. All guests were left amazed at how well the character had been copied, even the ones who didn't have a clue who it was! As long as my son knew & was happy that's at that mattered & he loved it. Vanilla sponge with Jam filling, the rest of the cake was finished the next day & was as soft as it came.

All 100 of my cup cakes arrived damaged and the 6 inch cake was so lopsided it looked like it was done by a child. The cakes were for a wedding the next day. Claire at New Cakes suggested I pop to Tesco instead. She's so far refused a refund and says "this never happens".

This time I went bespoke for my mums 70th birthday - a huge Motorhead fan - and the cake that arrived blew us all away. AND it tasted better that it looked if that is an actual thing! We were looking for ghostbusters cake with Slimer on it.
It turned out there are not so many great designs online and I could not even share pictures of what ideal design will look like. New cakes were really easy to deal with and they understood very quickly what's required and adjusted already existing ghostbusters cake accordingly.

We ordered a Tiffany box birthday cake to be delivered to a hotel for a birthday party. I was a bit concerned about how it might be transported as it was coming by DHL, but I need not have worried - it was packed extremely well and arrived perfectly. The cake was amazing - just as it looked in the picture and the recipient was SO chuffed. Thank you again - i will be ordering from you in future.

We have been using New Cakes to provide the WOW factor for our sons birthdays over past 4 years. Each time the team at New Cakes are given a brief, they knock it straight out of the ball park! This year's offering was probably their best one yet! Our baby boy could not believe his eyes when he saw the amazing creation of himself riding his favourite animal made by Elza and the team! I found this site quite by accident, but when I saw their work without covering it, I decided to order a cake from them for my brother's birthday! Mom and I are very happy. Everything came quickly and on time. A very tasty cake and, most importantly, a very beautiful design. We ordered the cake in minecraft style!

For my girlfriend's birthday, I wanted something unique in a cake. My idea was to incorporate actor Terry Crews from Brooklyn Nine-Nine (her favourite show & Penguins (her fav animal) onto one cake. New Cakes took my small idea and turned it into a masterpiece! You can see Terry Crews slipping while in pursuit the graffiti causing Penguins, whom have just painting the name "Jess" onto the side of the cake. Thank you New Cakes for this amazing creation, it isn't just a cake, it is a story in cake form! The cake tasted amazing too :)

Requested the standard Dog cake be customised to resemble a Yorkshire Terrier.
The cake decorator requested a photo which i emailed and specified collar colour name tag ears and tail alterations.

I ordered a surprise birthday cake for my partner, he was thrilled when he opened the box as he is a tech nerd and the cake was an iPhone! Beautifully made and tasted great. I have since ordered another for our daughter for her birthday. Fab cakes, fab customer service and great delivery service and packed like it's made of glass. Well done you guys rock.

I seek the help of New Cakes every year to send my boyfriend a Birthday cake that gives a clue to his main gift. Over the years the requests have gotten a little... bespoke. They never fail to impress, but this year was outstanding. Take a look at the photo, and I think you'll agree!

I bought a minecraft birthday cake for my son priced £49. The cake was damaged, looked nothing like the picture on the website and the main characters were missing. When I contacted them they ignored. Eventually they offered me £10 off my next order. Next order? No thanks my son could have made a better cake. Be warned people and save your hard earned cash!

Have been using NewCakes for a few years. All cakes have been amazing. Quality is very good and arriving on the day I requested. When I wanted a customised cake for my grandson they produced a wonderful digger cake. More recently Batman and Spider-Man cakes. Very very happy to continue to use them.

I am event planner and I organise parties all over the world, using a variety of amazing suppliers. I found New Cakes online as none of the people I usually work with could help. I approached them to make a novelty cake for my own mother's 70th birthday party - an event that naturally was really important to me. The cake needed to be a copy of mum's favourite stain remover stick. I spoke to Claire to give her the (albeit slightly unusual!) brief and could tell immediately that she and the whole team was amused and excited by the project. What they delivered was absolutely brilliant and not only looked great, but tasted fantastic too. I would recommend New Cakes to anyone.
