Had a cake made for my dads 70th birthday and I cannot describe how amazing this company is to deal with. The detail they put into this was 1st class service and they also made sure it was delivered on the day.
I will be using this company everytime I need a special cake made.

I am from Singapore and not familiar with cake outlets over here. I googled and found your service. I decided to buy online and I am glad I did. Beautiful design and received the cake in time. This cake is for my husband 53rd birthday and he absolutely love it. I will surely recommend to my friends.

I have bought 3 cakes so far from Newcakes. One was a football shirt cake, one was a Boston Terrier cake and one was a 75th Highland themed birthday cake that came complete with a piper, sheep, Highland cattle and Scottie dogs. It looked too good to eat! All the cakes were delicious. The Newcakes staff offered first class service, nothing was too much effort. I had fears the cakes might arrive damaged in transit because they are so delicately made but there was no need to worry. They had it all sorted. Newcakes have thought it all through so well. The couriers deliver the cakes safely boxed up. Today, I have ordered a bespoke Minions cake for my son for his seventh birthday on Saturday. And they have arranged for it to be made and delivered at 24 hrs notice.

I ordered a cake for my son's 7th birthday. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit. When I called New Cakes they instantly, no questions arranged a replacement which was delivered within 12 hours in perfect condition. A really great service. The cake was also delicious!

Terrible quality cake. Damaged on arrival, wrong colours, poor quality, missing requested elements. Terrible customer service, website with no reviews on it, no time to send me another cake or for me to have another made elsewhere, they refused to refund my money. Complete cowboys.

Bought a gruffalo cake for my son's 1st birthdsy. Cake arrived a day late. Marks all over the cake. Looked nothing like picture - much poorer decoration. Also missing figure from cake - the mouse! Do not use this company, was told we would get replacement base, still waiting. Wrote review on their website and it does not show!

I had to order a batman cake for my son at super short notice, I was so dubious about ordering a cake online, so much can go wrong but NewCakes made it so simple to order a quick chat with Shay and everything was sorted. It arrived next day before 1 as I requested in an awesome box I could carry to the venue. The cake inside was perfect exactly what I wanted and the extra touches that NewCakes provided really put a smile on my face.

I got this cake from my ex to my children's bday. Thanks God I didn't pay it and had my own cakes for £8 from Morrisons which tastes much better than this parody of cake! Sponge wasnt baked nicely and cream was just a litle bit inside and salty. Icing not good at all and think the cake was wrongly stored as tasted old. Poor look of the toppers and cheap candles too. Don't waste your money and rather buy somewhere else.

Recently purchased this cake from New cakes first time I have used them and they surpassed my expectations as promised the cake was delivered on time next day in perfect condition I will certainly use them again

I ordered a Vulcan cake to be sent to my father for his 95th birthday. He is locked down and family cannot visit. The cake arrived in the morning and was just as ordered. It looked amazing and seeing the happiness on his face at the sight of it and hearing how much pleasure it gave him to get the cake was just brilliant. Thank you so much for great service at this most difficult of times.

Absolutely top quality... order a mcnuggets cake not knowing what to expect as I live in sotland. Not only did it look amazing. The cake itself was so light and yummy. Definitely will be ordering again in the near future and would recommend this company 100%

Ordered the gym cake for my sons 18th.
It was terrible. It looked nothing at all like the image on the website. We paid extra for filling hardly any in it. Dry and horrible. We had a laugh at the companies expensive for the complete fail. At least I got to tell 60 people at the party not to go to this company. Emailed company no response.

I ordered a Mickey cake for my son's birthday last year. It wasn't a perfect looking cake but the red velvet sponge tasted really great and friends were impressed. At that time I would have recommended them to others.

I ordered a Paw Patrol cake this time around for my son's birthday this weekend (9th July). I ordered the cake in May! We communicated via email. Clare was good first, then as the date came closer, I didn't hear back from her. I called customer services but was told that Claire was away and that she will call me back, but never did (someone experienced this too, I've read other reviews).

Now it is too late to order a bespoke cake elsewhere, I now have to settle for a 10 quid Tesco's celebration cake. I am so angry that I am getting my son a crappy supermarket Paw Patrol cake but I have no choice. It's all been left too late.

Avoid New Cakes. They'll ruin your child's cake!

I ordered a cake for my son 3 years ago. It was for his 21st birthday and chose a surfing theme. The cake was superb and so pleased with the brilliant service I received. I have now ordered another cake for my partners 60th birthday and I know it will be of the same high standard. Highly recommend this company!

Ordered a birthday cake for my son. Paid extra for Saturday delivery so it was a fresh as possible for his birthday on Sunday. Despite the ordering saying we will get updated when it is shipped, you get no notification and no tracking details. Saturday came and went - no cake. Telephone number is a mobile number, no answer, no answer to texts and online chat is a 3rd party message taker, they cant help so totally pointless. Essentially, no support at all at the weekend.

My son is vegan so very few nice mainstream options so he has no cake today on his birthday. Hugely disappointing.

I do love this place. Cakes look fantastic, as if they're out of movies. They can replicate everything you ask the team to do! They are also so tasty. That's the place to go if you want to make a birthday special. Highly recommend this place!

I order and paid for an extra large cake that was supposed to suffice for 30-35 portions. My son's birthday party was the following day so I ordered it on Saturday just to ensure that it would arrive on time, which it did. Upon opening it I was utterly dismayed at the size of the cake. It is no larger than what you can buy at Tesco's - for a quarter of the price. Do not trust the size and portions as I got a ridiculously small cake and now have to find a substitute that would suffice 28 kids. Utterly shocked, dismayed and angry not to mention the stress I'm not supposed to have is on full force.

One would think that if people want to spread their business that they would at least endeavour to please their customers and not leave room for grievance - but this customer has nothing but grievance against this company - DO NOT TRUST THEM -

New Cakes have responded to my question with alacrity with more than satisfactory answers. I have now proceeded to go with them. You have to give trust and believe that there might be a few glitches in a ongoing concern such as this. I have strong reassurances that the cake that I have ordered will turn out to be to my specifications and that due care would be taken to protect the cake and delivered on time. With this reassurance, I am going ahead with my order and trust that I would be able to give a resounding review afterwards. You have to have faith and that's what I am doing.

I ordered a cake from overseas to be delivered to a London address, and Hannah from the customer service team was absolutely on the ball - friendly, efficient and super helpful with my questions. The recipient of the cake said it looked gorgeous and tasted good. I am definitely going to be a return customer!

Hannah of New Cakes made a great job of our sons 36th birthday cake. I sent a photo to her and there it was on the cake, spectacular. This photo meant a lot to him hence it literally topped the cake off. She then put the wishes underneath the photo. Could not have asked for more. We are in NZ and our son is in UK. It's these little things that mean a lot and there was free delivery and it arrived on his birthday.

My daughter used Newcakes for my 70th birthday cake. It was truly amazing! A replica of our lovely cottage. I was blown away by the likeness Newcakes had created and the cake itself was yummy. Definitely the highlight of my special day.
