Highly recommended for computer parts and electronics in general. Much wider selection than Best Buy, and better service than Fry's. Very quick standard shipping, usually arriving within 3 days. I've even purchased a few refurbished items, all of which continue to work.

“Canceled order - No communication”

Placed an order on NEWEGG, they billed my credit card and without any notice they canceled my order 7 days later. I only found out after I went to my PayPal account and saw it was canceled. I will never buy from them again. They also allow resellers on their site so you never know if the merchandise is legit or new. Buyer beware...

OK, I had issues with paying. My bank flagged the transaction as fraud, so I had to call them up. NewEgg customer service responded to a text in an hour. They must be busy, but they are responsive. I would definitely order again from them.

I ordered an i7 Pentium, or at least tried to. My first card was declined. OK, it expires next month, so maybe the problem is with me. I tried another card, and that payment was declined. They advertise good deals, but I can't figure out how they make money if they can't take payments.

After reading these reviews, I'm sort of glad my payment didn't go through.

Their customer service is one of the best I have seen. People are professional, friendly, and honest. They can generally beat anyone's price on any item they offer. I purchase items from them all the time and recommend them to everyone.

I ordered a item, for $99 from newegg, it didn't ship for over a week even though my credit card was charged. I saw the exact same item on a different internet retailer for $39 I tried to cancel it, I contacted newegg three different times regarding this order and got there different answers. They should have had plenty of time to cancel the order when I first contacted them but they did not. I ended up having to pay return shipping since they were so slow cancelling the item. Had I looked at all the poor reviews regarding newegg I would have never ordered from them.

Products used:
I ordered a movo motion sensor for a camera, I returned the item since they were very slow to ship and found the exact same item for $60 less on a major reputable internet retailer site.

I must admit how much I honestly enjoy shopping at newegg for computer supplies. I love the product review feature, people spend a lot of time posting honest reviews. I think their prices are highly competitive and they have a good return policy which is always important when purchasing computer supplies. If you think you are purchasing something that has the potential of being returned make sure you check the return policy before you open the packaging. Shipping time is normally in a few days I think three has been the maximum. I have never used them for things like televisions or automotive parts just computer hardware.

IF you buy from them, pray that you never have to return it. I'm on day 10 AFTER they received my return and are still attempting to process my store credit (which I stupidly requested). All their CS agents are ignorant liars who can't comprehend their own companies returns policy. I wish zero stars were an option because one star for them is beyond generous.

It was my first and last experience with Newegg. I ordered an Acer Aspire since this computer was rated really good. But Newegg messed it up and sent me the wrong item. People who don't have no experiences with computers would have probably not even realized that they got the correct model but without the graphic card in it.

I demanded a replacement and sent the computer back. This took almost 7! Days. In the end they found out they didn't have that computer in stock anymore and giving me a refund instead what took another couple of days. That whole process took almost 3 weeks without having a computer, dozens of phone calls to find out weather I would get a refund or a replacement! So in the end, I don't have no computer, got my money back and have to start looking for another computer, since that one is not in stock anymore. I will definitely go with Amazon next time. Just wanted to give Newegg a try. I should have stuck with Amazon, as I usually do.

I purchased a used dell computer from Newegg for overnight delivery. It arrived a week later and the hard drive was defective so I returned it. They acknowledged accepting the return, refunded the original shipping charges and said I would be refunded the cost of the computer within 4-5 business days. It didn't happen so I opened a dispute through my credit card. So far it's been over two months and Newegg still hasn't refunded the money. I contacted the credit card today and found out the dispute is being escalated because Newegg claims I agreed to go ahead and let them keep money even though I'd returned the computer and they agreed to me they would refund it. Obviously, since they have no evidence -- in fact evidence to the contrary -- that'd I would let them do this, I'll eventually get refunded my money. But I've never had this kind of problem with a legitimate company before and I highly recommend anyone considering it avoid doing business with them.

Newegg might be cheaper sometimes but I highly recommend no longer buying from them. They sent me a faulty motherboard. I shipped it back over a week ago. They state that they wont be able to even ship me out one until their 'inspection process' is finished which wont be done for another three days. Then their shipping time is terrible so I'm basically out a motherboard for a MONTH. Because it's 'replacement only returns' they wont even consider giving me my money back even though they sent me a faulty product.

Purchased a "marketplace" item.

Newegg billed me and sent a ship notice. A couple weeks later, the notice is still in "label created" status and the item is out of stock.
Newegg CS will only contact the seller on my behalf. They won't refund my purchase until they resolve the issue with the seller, making my money a nice 0% loan for however long it takes them to fart around with that. I've disputed the charge with my bank, so at least there's a hard limit there.

Keep in mind: *Newegg* is the billing and invoicing agent here. They can see the same statuses I can. They have every ability to refund my purchase and deal with the vendor on their own time. They just want me to fund that time.

They used to be my go-to place. I apparently was gone for a while, because they're not the Newegg I used to shop at.

I purchased online a $1,700 computer monitor from Newegg as NEW but the product arrived in its factory box without a shipping box or proper padding. Item box had already opened, factory seal torn, and the product did not work.

This is Newegg's issue, not mine. But Newegg expects customers to wait for the RMA return to ship back and process, and then wait again for a replacement to be shipped.

This negatively impacted my small business and we'll never shop Newegg again.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid it. Sales fraud and you wait a long time

I was surprised to discover three items of which I had just purchased from a local computer retailer, including a blu ray writer, hard disk drive and media, were all over 30% dearer than the no discount price I just paid, no shipping costs or delays, just bought over the counter. Looks a bit greedy to me, I was thinking online buying was cheaper, maybe just not here from Newegg.

This website is incredibly user-friendly. Everything that my son ordered arrived well before the scheduled delivery date. Any items that offer rebates are listed with a link to the PDF for the rebate. AWESOME site!

The best thing about this site, and the reasons it is so well liked, is straight prices. It is a site you should check for any kind of electronic before going somewhere like Best Buy. I would tell everyone to check out the deals there even if they are just browsing.

I have purchase from Newegg many times in the past, they always have interesting deals and a large selection of products. I have never had any issues with anything purchased from them, everything arrived promptly and was exactly as described. I have no regrets and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electronics and electronic supplies.

OMG, This was the worst experience in a long time online shopping. I bought a digital photo frame that came totally unusable. It flipped like an old broken tv. It took 2 months to go through the return and repair process. I finally got a replacement. It was scratched up and boxed like like it was junk. It was purchased for a gift and totally ruined the holiday. If I wanted junk I would have bought on Craigs List. I paid for something quality and New! Thats the last time I buy from NewEgg or its partners.

Tip for consumers:
Don't expect a positive experience. Prices seem good but I found the support to be a joke. You have been warned. :-/

I got my computer less than two months ago. No warranty from Newegg and they don't let you know that. The computer came with that problem because when I turned on took a little longer. I had to press the bottom for a few seconds and then started until it just didnt. I though I would be fine because it was just two months with me. For my surprise I called them and no warranty from them and the manufacturer. It's unbelievable. I paid $4,000 for a piece of crap.

Tip for consumers:
They don't have a warranty, not either the manufacturer which for me is unbailable what a rip off.

Products used:
I got a computer, no warranty it came with a malfunction.

Avoid buying on newegg. It's very likely that you'll lose your package, and their customer service does nothing helpful to find your missing package. They will waste your time with useless responses and there are no way of responding to their decisions once they process (most likely deny) your claims. With incompetent service like this you'll understand why so many people report missing packages with newegg - delivery companies are allowed to make mistakes and the customers are left to bear the consequence.

I am probably the most critical reviewer on this site and have never given over several stars to any business reviewed yet. Newegg is the exception. I build the latest and greatest systems and shop around for the absolute best prices on the internet. If I find a better price on another site, Newegg has always been able to match it. When I receive a defective product from the many suppliers on Newegg, their customer service department has always been there to resolve any and all problems. If I have paid more for an item on Newegg than is on sale a week later, they have credited the difference in the form of a gift card. If you absolutely love standing in long lines and the worst customer service, then shop at Frey's or Best Buy and pay the sales tax also for the privilege. For the best prices and customer service, Newegg has been my favorite for approximately 15 years since CompUsa closed down in my area.

Everything was fine until usps lost my package. The customer service was robotic copy and paste and they are asking me to wait 15 business days or more for a refund. The crazy thing is, that its been 17 business days and they keep telling me to wait. If they wish to deliver a package via fed ex to a post office two miles up the street and then usps lose it and say it was delivered, then its their problem. They should have a small inexpensive tracker in package that costs 2 cent and they should either locate it or refund me on the spot. Using usps is so backward and not good business.

Might not be the cheapest, but I don`t have anything bad to say about the company. If you are looking for computer parts just make sure to compare prices from Newegg, NCIX, tigerdirect, and canada computers. These places I would say I trust. Have purchased from all and other than pricing they are pretty close in all other aspects.

At this point I've tried to email the sellers of said items and i'm not sure whether i should expect a response or not, but i haven't gotten one. I received one of the items i ordered in a matter of days, after the seller contacted me for accurate shipping information.

I've done my part, in terms of trying to resolve this issue. I'm trying to contact customer service, to no avail.
This live chat thing is useless.

I probably won't bother with newegg again.

I have been using Newegg for computer parts and electronics for the past year and a half and I LOVE them. They always have competitive prices, the best selection and I never had a problem with their customer service.
I bought a wireless router from them, it didn't work properly, created the return with free shipping label and sent the item... 3 days after they received my broken one, I had a brand new one!
I know all you pessimists are going to say "it took them 3 days after they received yours" Ok, 1. They have to make sure that you didn't modify it and break it yourself, 2. That is normal shipping time, 3. Go complain somewhere else.
I trust these people more than eBay, you're lucky to get anything that works correctly, and most of them do not offer returns.

Their payment review process does not seem to be honest. They claim that they contact my bank to verify I'm the correct purchaser and said it was denied. My bank never received a call nor is that even possible. Ordered it off Amazon and I suggest you do the same.

Placed an order on 1 October 2020. Newegg provided tracking number however until this day the tracking number they provided when check only shows that a shipping label was created, nothing else. By this time at least it should in transit but is not. Also the type of tracking number provided show that the product is sent from China? If I Knew that the item was coming from China I would have never placed the order. Bad way of doing business. Never again.
