I've had a server with Nitrado for a year. During that year, the server has been moved to different computers enough times to get me about 14 different IP addresses. At no time was the help of the staff worthy of even a 1 star. I have emailed and literally begged for help only to get responses in other languages I can't understand or asking for details I had already given. I do NOT recommend Nitrado for ANYTHING except a headache. After a year of paying them, I have just now finally had enough and cancelled all my servers with them. I will look for a better system.

The servers overall are pretty good I guess. Timeouts happen a bit. But whatever you do... DO NOT pay for upgraded server hardware for performance. It's a scam. You will see zero change

Nitrado was good when I first bought it a year ago for some friends and me to play on for a month and stop and a few months later we would rent it again. But I switch over to pc and it was fine for a month we went back to play on it again this time a PVP ark world for me and some friends. But it was super slow, when it did a restart like it would take like 10 minutes to an HOUR to start up again. Which was annoying but we could deal with it. Not only that mods would not work either. BUT THEN THE WORST THINGS HAPPENED. IT WOULD FREEZE US THEN KICK US OUT AT RANDOM TIMES AND I KNOW IT WAS NOT OUR GAME BECAUSE ONE TIME MY GAME FROZE WHILE MY FRIENDS GAME WAS FINE THEN I GOT KICKED OUT THEN ONE MINUTE MY FRIEND GOT KICKED OUT AND SENT US FAR BACK TIME AND IT WOULD DO THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I TRIED GOING BACK TO AN OLD SAVE FILE BUT IT WOULD STILL FREEZE THEN I DID A REINSTALL AND IT HAS BEEN 3 HOURS AND IT IS STILL NOT UP AND I JUST PAID TO EXTEND OUR TIME FOR THIS GARBAGE SERVER AND THERE IS NO REFUNDS TOO AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS PACKED WITH PEOPLE. Price of the service is correct.
The service itself is good when it works, but when it does't...
During last 3 months i had to deal with Nitrado's support a lot.
Each time it took them minimum a day to reply, and usually the reply would be
"We noticed that the your problem is solved, let us know if you need anything else"
And 99% of the times problem was not solved.
At this point i don't even bother opening support tickets, for what? To waste my time hoping they will fix the problem, when i can just wipe the server and save myself and my players time.
There are problems that they simply cannot fix. Server stuck on roll back? If you open a support ticket, you going to waste days, if not weeks of your time waiting for them to tell you "unfortunately, this issue can't be fixed other than by doing a reinstall and resetting your XML files to default", since then i learned that doing a roll back fixed the problem, not from a support staff, but by myself.
Server is experiencing terrible performance problems? They are going to point at your XML files again, and suggest you to reinstall + reset the files to default.
Pretty much any problem you experience, you will be told to do a re-install and reset your xml files to default.
French support staff is a shame, they the most incompetent staff i had to deal with.

Several times where support team simply refused to help me and closed the ticket without answering.
Some staff members don't read tickets fully, and just look if server has players in it, and assume that the problem i am reporting is fixed. This type of incompetence makes you waste days, because it takes them a day to answer you.
They need to train support staff more, they contradict each other in answers, majority of them have no idea what they doing, give wrong information about some server functions, i have some other things i know, that happened not too long ago, but i will keep that for myself.

If you're looking for the following, you've come to the right place:
1. Worthless Technical assistance
2. Shaky server stability (at best)
3. Mediocre pings
4. Ticket response times usually within the same decade
5. Enjoy explaining the technical aspects to their Technicians
6. Bullied into using their monopolized crossplay service (only host that Xbox can use)
7. FTP service? Ha, you thought there was a positive. No FTP storage.
8. Basic features such as a working map, have been broken for OVER A YEAR.
9. Since May 18th (21 days ago) the TWENTY servers we pay for every month randomly reboot, randomly throughout the day.
10. The web interface does not work for wiping your server - must call their Support. See #1.
11. My post is about to be character limited, else I could sit here until 2024 telling you why to avoid this $#*! show.

The experience with Nitrado's customer support was horrific customer service and completely unhelpful. Our server was brought down multiple times over multiple days unexpectedly through a fully server-side initiated save and shut down, not a crash. I proved through the logs that the server did not crash, the technician refused to believe this and insisted on the issue being with the discord bot. All the modified dates of every file on the server was reset to the current time of the shutdown. This leads me to believe the server was shutdown with no notice to copy our files from one machine to another, interrupting our service with no notice. This is poor business practice and caused detrimental effects to our playerbase.
When asked to escalate to a supervisor on the phone, the technician refused and insisted that there were no managers in the call center. When pressed, he said he would check if his supervisor would take the call and then proceeded to tell me that they refused to take the call and we would have to wait 2 business days to hear from the development team, which the ticket was never actually escalated to, and the technician continued to insist on the issue being our mods. The technician was unprofessional, lazy and refused to give any help beyond blaming our mods, which worked without issue on our local server and our previous host.
He also claimed there are no surveys to give feedback on about the customer's experience with support. In my 8 years working at call centers, I've never seen a technical support call center not have a survey to fill out. After this experience, I reached out to support to file a formal complaint on this technician, this was never done despite being assured it was. I posted on Nitrado's forums of this experience only to have my forum account banned for speaking out about their customer service with no reason being given to why I was banned. I had to reach out to a volunteer moderator to find out any information, which they let me know that the reason the account was banned was because complaints need to be directed through support tickets or calling support, which was the whole problem to begin with.
To any managers that read this, I am extremely dissatisfied with my entire experience with Nitrado as we paid double over our previous host and received worse performance, worse customer service and no tools to monitor our server at all. I do not recommend renting servers with Nitrado.

Very $#*!ty and unstable gaming experience, we were 4 players online, unable to do anything due to lag and the best that support can tell, after few days waiting for an anser is that they solved the problem; which is not...
Even after upgrading the server to the best they offer; it is not possible to play the game, but also, it is not possible to change the game, delete files or anything..

Server zaplatený na 30 dni ako testovací pre 8 hráčov nuž zahrali sme si iba 15 dni vďaka ich neschopným aktualizáciam, neustálim výpadkom, alebo nonstop zaseknutým reštartovaním servera. Určite viem že ak si niečo nabudúce zaplatím tak to nebude určite od spoločnosti Nitrado + slaba komunikácia medzi A teamom a majiteľom serveru smutne že za také peniaze tak malo muziky

As Bohemia stand alone DayZ is only available on Nitrado, you are very limited. The price is very reasonable and the support crew responds overnight but the reliability of the servers located in Miami leaves a lot to be desired. Seems we have more "stuck in restart" than run time. After submitting a support ticket, I got a speedy response but nothing changed, Frustrating for sure and to make it worse, I got an email asking me to auto-pay for more months. I have to believe this can be done better. My son is a server admin for a major bank and agrees that the response should not take days to figure out but maybe 24 hours at most. Nitrado... you can do better, please see to this problem. Thanks.

Owned multiple servers across a few years, Everytime i have bought a server from them about 2 weeks after there is some sort of rollback loss of data that NITRADO can not fix they consistently expect the consumer for having to fix any issues related to loss of data eg; using commands or cheats to get your stuff back when its them that are hosting the server. Constant data loss or server restarting have had the issue on there website for nearly a week and it still remains unfixed but still happy to sell servers full well knowing that at any point you could be sent into a restart loop in which your server doesn't start and have to wait for upto 3 days to get it back.

My Xbox one DayZ server has been shutting off and back on randomly for the last 3 days. Every. Single. Time. I have contacted Nitrado, and they have said, "the issue has been fixed." or "We see the current issue, and we will have it fixed in an hour."
They told me they would have it fixed in an hour, and it has been 6. I've have spent over an hour on the phone with them, and they can't seem to do their $#*!ing job.

I would avoid at all costs ive tried 2 diffrent games the first one being 7 days to die worked well for half hour then lagged froze and crashed we then decided to try a diffrent game one less demanding so we tried terraria now with that we cant even enter the server we have paid for why because they cant seem to update the game to the latest version the customer service is very unhelpful all they did is re installed the game on the server and hoped for the best and told me to contact them if it didnt work and ofc it didnt now im sat here out of pocket from the money i spent on the server wich i may never be able to use

Had a Minecraft bedrock server hosted through Nitrado for 6 days. Everything worked perfectly until one day I logged in to a completely wiped world. After calling customer support, (waited 1.5 hours on hold) the support agent explained to me that we could restore our world from the most recent backup point. She also said she could issue new hardware which would change our IP and port to prevent further issues. While changing our hardware, OUR RESTORE/BACKUP POINTS WERE DELETED. RIP to a combined ~100 hours between my friends and I. They said there was nothing they could do to fix it. I got a full refund for the 30 days I paid for, and I'll be going elsewhere to host my next server. Note that this was nothing on my end I did to corrupt the server, it was 100% on them.

I rented a 7d2d gaming server and from the moment I logged on, the server would restart over and over.
Contacted support, and they switched me multiple times to different servers, did a bunch of stuff, finally after about 10 days, I was actually able to use it for a few days, only to log on a Thursday night, ready to play and poof, connection lost, server rebooting again over. I called support they said they would escalate to some other support and would contact me in the order received.
Well that was on the Jan 27th, and still no contact, server is still stuck and they don't respond to tickets now.
Worthless company and the worst support ever.
They did give extensions for my problems, but pretty useless if you never get to log on to use it.

I asked for a refund, and they gave me most of my money back very quickly, a few days in fact.
In my review i stated they call me, I meant to say they would contact me, either way they NEVER DID to resolve the server issue!
I was with this company previously and never had any of these issues, sad to see their support has degraded so much.

Have been renting servers from Nitrado since 2018, but recently the performance is abyssmal. The WebGUI is slow, server reboots on it's own accord, restarting server now taken 40 to 60 minutes, players getting kicked. The reload log button on the WebGUI more often doesn't than does work,...
Logged a ticket, they told me 'sorry, the game is buggy, nothing we can do'. Except take my money and then tell me they can't do anything it seems, that's working fine.
(info in ticket is literally 'find a solution online somewhere or accept this sometimes happens and might resolve itself or not. You might or might not need to reinstall)
(as I've been accused that I'm lying and they never said this, original message in Dutch:
"Het spel geeft aan de server kanthelaas geen logs om vast te stellen wat het probleem is. Zoals je wellicht online kunt vinden is dit een probleem dat wel eens gebeurt, soms vanzelf weg gaat en soms een backup of herinstallatie nodig heeft")
Happy customer since 2018 now fed up with their nonsense and 'support'. We reply within 24-48 hours, true. Sadly, the replies are as usefull as an elephant in a porcelain shop.
As I'm typing this, my server is yet again mysteriously stuck in a restart loop - forced stoppen, restarted, wait another 45 minutes; I'm now paying to watch paint dry while I wait for the few happy minutes my server stays up and is usable.

One map been down 2 days others won't start unless we force Stater them ourselves replies slow, if at all, sometimes days useless information being passed to fix when we force start ark map they will email saying everything's fine they fixed it when we're the ones starting up maps and then watch them crash absolute joke they're having on us bank account

After I bought my server I've only had issues (Space Engineers and Ark) Crashes, Server not responding, Rollbacks, Lag, Loosing worlds and progress and more. I will say the support is alright a bit slow but that's fine since they manage to fix most of my issues for a few hours before they appeared again.
