Oakley sunglasses are supreme quality and durable eye wear made with vast array of styles to fit your needs. They offer a great selection of clothing, bags, eye wear, and great sales if you are on a budget. I highly recommend Oakley for the high level of craftsmanship that goes into creating an Oakley product! A+
My prescription was submitted along with the frame style Half -Jacket--- I get the complete opposite after a 14 day wait. WHAT a joke. What used to be a storied iconic brand has faded into retail obscurity - a sad tale indeed.
I purchased the Oakley Splitshot fishing glasses earlier this year. The left lens developed a defect behind the mirror finish. Oakley had me jump through hoops to start a claim. Then they told me I was out of warranty after 8 months. When I proved I was still in warranty they said the problem was not a defect, even though the store I purchased them said it was defective. Oakley customer service is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Just past warrantee and I took them to Japan not only did both my flight 1 prizm lenses flake all the mirroring off so did my friends of a different model. Definitely do not buy. I've been told it's called crazing and normal for pallets to do this. They won't replace obviously

Bought glasses. Arm broke and plastic snapped at the joint. Clearly shoddy quality and they simply told me tough. No reason or explanation….
So I hav a week old pair of sunglasses that are useless.
Thanks a lot Oakley.
I thought ordering from Oakley would be a step above some of the other web based eyeglasses. Wrong. Lenses scratched too easy. Transactions is rather light. Progressive lenses were not well done. And their crappy pads or rubber nose pieces break or fall off. I wrote Oakley - no response, so NEVER AGAIN.
Paid over a $1000 for these glasses. The grommet Came out of the frame that holds the Lens in. They said frame was out of warranty. Got them in June 23. Worst customer service ever. Would not ever buy Oakley again would not recommend it to anyone either. Especially if you are getting prescription glasses. Your best bet would be to buy 2 pairs of cheap glasses compared to one high dollar Oakley that's Cheaper put together than the cheap ones you're going to buy. No stars from me.
I would give a no star. But that is not an option. Eyewear never arrived. Tracking was and is terrible. Getting live support just as terrible. Item was supposed to arrive as a gift before vacation. Nope. My partner left and has returned and guess what, still no item. I hope getting a refund wont be as difficult. I wont order Oakley online again. That why I wear Rayban.

Third pair (and the most expensive) of Oakley glasses that have blistered on the inside of the lenses. This is not something I might expect this of glasses costing £30 but not £100-200!
This particular pair were my "Sun-day best" so I had worn them maybe 15 times in 5 years and kept them in there metal box, wrapped in an Oakley cleaning cloth when not in use.
Contacted support to be told that as they were out of warranty they could only offer a discount on another new pair (again).
Once is just bad luck, twice is suspicious but three times is plain bad quality. These are like cheap knock-off glasses not the real thing. Buyer beware. Buy a cheap pair and IF anything bad happens to them buy another pair with the £100+ you have saved.
By comparison I have 2 pairs of Dirty Dog glasses which I wear every day of the summer and are of similar age to the last Oakley bin jobs and they are perfect.

$250 for basically plastic junk. Side piece popped off. Cant get a human on the phone. Automated system hangs up on you if you hit *,# or 0.
To get parts they want you to enter code. There is no code on the pieces of junk.
Lesson learned. Never will buy another oakley product and you dont either. Wish I had had read these review before I got robbed.
I've had these Oakley sunglasses for about five years. Already the lens orange sunlight coverings are peeling off of the face of of it. I talked to Oakley customer service. They said there's nothing they can do that's normal wear and tear on these glasses. I think it's ridiculous. I've had numerous other glasses, that have lasted many many years had no problem with them Not Oakley,. I would never buy this product again based on the product quality and their backing of their product.
Tried. Calling their 800 number. Must submit a claim email. Ok, do that then some auto bot reply that your claim is denied. They claim model No longer made, I just bought them in April! Three months ago. They offer a special price on new ones that are comparable ok except they're more than I paid for originally, what a joke. I'll never buy a pair of Oakley s again. Horrible service. They don't care at all, take your money and screw you..

The pages take forever to load and many of them never actually do load. The Order History page has been "under construction" for the last 4 months. This means you cannot check the status of your orders or process a return without sending emails to customer service. They do not always respond to emails and when they do, it takes several days and expect canned responses that evade your questions/concerns. I have tested this site in Chrome, Firefox and Explorer and find these issues to be consistent across browsers.
Other than the site being poorly maintained, their customer service is pretty bad also. It takes months to get a return processed.
Oakley makes good products, but purchasing from their website offers no benefits. In fact, often times you can find the items cheaper on other retail sites.
Tip for consumers:
Find the items on a retail site and save money and aggravation!
I ordered 2 pairs of frog skins. My pair from the early 90's finally broke.
One pair was from my nephews B-D. He'll have to wait...
Both pairs were wrong models Wire frames, Not even close.
Sent them back, I hope whom ever opens the box can manage or get someone to help to pull the right order. Waiting...
Never again. To many other Great company options.
Looking same online glasses same lens 81 dollars more on the first responder site I chatted with Oakley and gave the reason: "Gabriella Z 9:46:22 a.m.
It isn't, but currently, the discount is available on our normal website because we think all our customers are valid. I apologize in this case you don't feel valid, we only want to make our items accessible for all people."
Tip for consumers:
make sure look at both sites

I'm sure like anywhere there are good and bad employees but my experience so far is that these are some of the most expensive lenses I've ever purchased, and they feel just as cheaply made as a 10$ pair off the rack. The lenses scratched very easily, the nose pieces fell off when unfolding the glasses, and I'm someone who only wears them in the car, and places them back after use (no kids). Upon submitting a claim asking for a fix or replacement, or more durable alternative, they denied the claim and told me to buy another pair at $150!
These were supposed to be a durable lens made for work and I never even got to use them for that purpose. Broke in under 3months.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this money trap and find new brands that offer quality rather than corporations that no longer reflect their original quality cashing in on a name at the consumer's expense.

Ordered some expensive sunglasses over a month ago and they still haven't arrived and now struggling to get this company to refund my money. The people on the phone are beyond useless. Wish I had read all the terrible reviews first.
Tip for consumers:

Poor customer service and the quality of their product has diminished. In the past, my glasses lasted for years, now I need new lenses every few months because they peel. It is also interesting to see that others have had address issues like mine. Oakley sent my product to the wrong location and it takes forever to have the issue resolved because of the disgusting customer service. Look at all of the negative reviews on trust pilot, they do not censor reviews like oakley.com does. Oakly was the go-to product when working down range, now they are the company to go-away from.

We did not end up using the glasses that we ordered. Oakley made a mistake with the shipping address and they were sent to an address that did not excist. We attempted to contact customer service and DHL but neither compnay was any help. We did not recieve our glasses and I am waiting on a refund.
Oakley prescription glasses sold through LensCrafters defective and neither will stand behind their crap. I have worn glasses all my life and never had junk like these Oakley lenses. Frames are good but the lenses are junk. This is the second pair that did the exact same thing. As the person at LensCrafters insisted it was a cleaner that did it. I only used their cleaner.

I will shop anywhere but LensCrafters or Oakley
Ordered replacement lenses from them and then, the same day, realized I ordered the wrong pair. Contacted Customer Support. They indicated their system would not allow for cancelling an order! I had to wait until I got the order (some 11 days later) to request a return. Got the package yesterday, requested a return. Waited another day to get that. Printed label and found that their policy is once they get the package, the return will be processed in 10-14 days! They have my money for a month! Never will buy from this company. They are a rip.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Oakley

Had incorrect address in my receipt after I had entered correct one. Immediately reached out and was in hold for over an hour and rep refused to change address. They are now shipping my items to a fictional address for their mistake. Horribly dishonest and awful service. Won't Oakley ever again. Beware!
I am a long time customer of Oakley and have watched their quality continue to drop off. There latest quality is now horrible, yet they keep raising their prices. Unfortunately when you spend top dollar on their products and there is a problem they don't stand behind it. I have received golf shirts with 2 different sized sleeves. My latest Oakley sunglasses has cracks in the lense starting from the nose cutout. The glasses were purchased from the corporate store in irvine and were only worn 3 times. Oakley would not stand behind them.

The Tinfoil Carbon glasses have riveted connections for the arm to frame. My glasses broke at the rivet point and the arm detached. It appears to be a typical stress fracture. I don't recall a incident of over stressing the connection. The issue, no parts are available for repair and Oakley does not provide repair services. After looking at the overall design, it appears to be a low cost assembly, made in China probably to Oakley spec. No warranty available. I did not receive the utility I expected. Pitching them in the trash, well it was like throwing $145 away. I would not recommend purchasing this frame design.

I purchased a different product design. The metallic riveted connections are a low cost manufacturing process.
