The store I go to is convenienttly located and easily accessible. They usually have what I need but some of their prices could be better, considering they are a large corporation with the attendant buying power. Overall, they do a good job.
Upon reviewing all the feedback, it is imperative to consider assigning a rating of 0 to establishments that do not merit even a single star. During a recent visit to procure plastic folders for my students, I inquired about the price-matching policy prior to selecting the necessary items. Upon reaching the register, the attendant appeared unfamiliar with the procedure and sought assistance from the manager, who conducted himself discourteously and unprofessionally. The manager would benefit from immediate training. The folders in question were identical to those available at Target. My decision to patronize this establishment was solely due to its proximity, which, in hindsight, proved to be an unfortunate choice. The Office Depot is located at Grossmont Center. Hopefully, someone from the main headquarters will read it and do something about it. I drove to Target and bought 100 folders there! Bye-bye, Office Depot, you need better staff!
Ordered bulk office supplies for my work (pens post-its, ink cartridges etc) and they took a few days longer than quoted to arrive. I called up and I guess there was a storm back east that caused complications and delays. They issued me store credit as an apology and the girl on the line was very friendly about it. I truly hope they are listening, because I will be back!

Before purchasing a needed product I do market checks and read reviews. In fifteen years Office Depot has not disappointed me. I have consistently found at Office Depot the best deals on quality printer paper.

Very impressed with this department. The personnel were knowledgeable and eager to help. Quality of print job was great. I had two posters made in color, laminated and mounted. Whole job done in one day.

They have everything you need in a business that requires you to document all of the organization & transactions. Whether it's shipping and receiving or customer service related. My only reason to the 3 star's is that you will pay for what your needs are.

1. Trying to use their bait & switch rewards program is a total wast e of anyone's time. Having had one of their rewards card for over a decade, I have not once been able to utilize the card without some employee denying the card,; telling me: 1. Time limit for rewards has expired; or it doesn't cover the purchase of the item you have; Shop elsewhere or online, but avoid Office Depot/Max.
2.25% off on Veterans Day was a Lie. I went to check out and the clerk told me that ink was not part of the 25% off for Veteran's Day. More unending bait & switch.

Service is always great at the two in my area. They always look to make sure that you're getting everything you need, which is nice, and their copy and print people are always very helpful and detail-oriented to help me get my projects done. The prices are a little high, but I do notice they have a lot of sales and do price match most similar places so I'm pretty satisfied.

They advertise next day & two day shipping on items; then when you get to the checkout they change it to several days slower.
Obviously, there have not been enough complaints for them to discontinue this deceptive practice.

I recently ordered only prints. Literally something so hard to mess up but yet it was. I called customer service and they were nice and seemed to fix my issue. Come to find out he lied and my ordered cant be fixed until reviewed and when I contacted again they said I have to wait at least a week. Excuse me but this is a present that would have been ready if they had done it right the first time. Taking my business to Staples.

I should have ordered on Amazon. I went with Office Depot since the printer I ordered was $18 cheaper, but now I realize this was a mistake. It still hasn't shipped out despite an email saying it would arrive by June 9 (today is June 21). Live chat support was apologetic but just said they'd send my case for review and I have to wait several more days... still haven't heard back. I may have to just dispute the charge with my credit card and order elsewhere.

I will not buy this product from Office Depot. The offer of a discount for registering with Office Depot was prominently shown [directly below Add to Cart - see image] on the product page so I registered. Then I read on the registration email that technology products were excluded [see images]. The coupon code appeared automatically on the checkout page but was rejected.
Can't speak for the product, but Office Depot gets zero stars. I am very disappointed with Office Depot.

Once upon a time I used them a lot, in part because they had an excellent friendly hands-on manager. This man did not promote a very rude employee with a criminal background. The crook hired a good lawyer and sued the parent company, which proceeded to fire the loyal manager and reward the crook.
Most people do not care about this sort of thing, I do.
The friendly manager made up for limited choice and high prices.
Once he was wrongfully fired I never went back.

Office Depot uses T force as a delivery company in Miami --The worse delivery experience ever. I bought a desk that took 4 days after a scheduled date to be delivered. The product came damaged. I have to exchange and the same delivery company gives you a window of today before 10 PM. by 2 pm they returned the item to the dock and then contact them they said it will be delivered in 24-48 hours. I have contacted force and they are an issue. I read on their web that everyone gave them 1 start. I don't know how office depot uses this logistic company for delivery.

Just had an order arrive and it's not what I ordered. They are good about returning things but c'mon, get your orders right. Next time I'd just go to the local OfficeMax and not order online from them.

I shop at OfficeDepot a lot. The people there are knowledgeable, helpful, and really good. I bought some mechanical pencils there that only work for one lead. The second lead won't work. I tried to return it and company policy won't let me. Policy does not allow them to track my purchases, and they wanted a receipt, but of course I didn't have it since I'd had the pencil for months by that point. Office Depot should learn from other stores how to track purchases.

Prices are competitive, but to get the best deal Office Depot likes you to jump through a few hoops for them (setting up a separate account to collect points and coupon savings). The best part is their custom shopping lists you can save to their site, large inventory, fast delivery, and good checkout procedure. In my rural area, they never achieve next day delivery. Never. But they usually get it there in two to three days, which is still good.

I purchased paper on 10/6 for delivery to my residence on 10/8. The deliver person lied saying the business was closed when delivery was attempted. Because of this lack of service, I cancelled the order and ask that my money be refunded. Office Depot wants me to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund that they grabbed at the time I placed the order. This is a crappy way to do business.

I try SO hard to support brick & mortar stores. However, from now on I'll use Amazon and save the trip. I bought a USB hub for a cruise because ships are known to have very few outlets. To pack light, I removed the packaging. We empty our garbage cans before we leave on vacation. The outlet didn't work at all - it was DEFECTIVE. Despite that, I wasn't allowed to exchange or return it because there was no packaging. Amazon takes everything back. I'm guessing there won't be an Office Depot in my neighborhood much longer with such poor service.

I've been shopping through OD for my electronics for a couple decades now. I buy warranties on things I don't want to pay for again within 2 or 3 years like TV's, Computers, Printers. All of the things I've bought through them have always been in top condition. When I've broken something their warranty department is easy to work with, replacing my item quickly and communicating clearly throughout the process.
I highly recommend OD for all your electronic needs!

Know that when you place an online order and use your rewards but then cancel the
Order that the company tells you that the rewards we be available in 24 hours of the cancellation, but really wait about a month before allowing you to use the rewards again. They refuse to help or honor what they tell you.
Also, if you use a gift card for an online order and then cancel the order, they will not refund your money unless you call them (2 weeks later by the way) and spend 2 hours on the phone asking for your money back. I am not sure if they are totally incompetent or just very unethical. Buyer beware.

This company uses sub-par delivery companies that show up in unmarked vans with no identification. The delivery person had me sign for delivery then only brought in part of my order and left.
It took me three days of calling their customer service number to finally get a refund for the product that was not delivered. Finally, I did not appreciate that their customer service line is outsourced to somewhere outside of the United States.

Awful, The first agent didn't even know company policy on price matches. Almost made me make a whole other order just to receive a simple price match, Not to mention taking over a hour to get it sorted. I had to call in her or his supervisor just to get a refund instead of forcing me to make a whole other order. Why spend over a hour making a whole other order when you could just refund me the difference. One of the most frustrating customer service experience ever, This will make me think twice about making a purchase at office depot. There price matching policy on there website says that there supposes to just refund you the difference, Not sure why this agent gave me the run around.

I started me plumbing business 3 years ago and on a whim swung in to get some cheap and easy business cards. Ended up ordering custom designed cards also and have reordered twice more. One of my orders had a typo and they re did the whole order at no charge and was quick about it. Also some invoices had some smudges on the printing and they re ordered them and let me keep the bad ones! Great service.
