The store I go to is convenienttly located and easily accessible. They usually have what I need but some of their prices could be better, considering they are a large corporation with the attendant buying power. Overall, they do a good job.
Upon reviewing all the feedback, it is imperative to consider assigning a rating of 0 to establishments that do not merit even a single star. During a recent visit to procure plastic folders for my students, I inquired about the price-matching policy prior to selecting the necessary items. Upon reaching the register, the attendant appeared unfamiliar with the procedure and sought assistance from the manager, who conducted himself discourteously and unprofessionally. The manager would benefit from immediate training. The folders in question were identical to those available at Target. My decision to patronize this establishment was solely due to its proximity, which, in hindsight, proved to be an unfortunate choice. The Office Depot is located at Grossmont Center. Hopefully, someone from the main headquarters will read it and do something about it. I drove to Target and bought 100 folders there! Bye-bye, Office Depot, you need better staff!
There is no "level 3" wording anywhere on the product package. And all boxes have expiration dates 8. 22. 2022 or 8. 25. 2022. Unable to create return online. Customer Service won't help!

Over the years I have purchased many computers, supplies, and PRINTERS from Office Depot in Tyrone Plaza. Yesterday I spent another $300 on a Brother printer. No complaints with the printer--it is great. When I went to recycle my old HP printer (which I bought from them) I was told I would be charged $10. To recycle it. When I got there, I was charged $30.00. This really irritated me for two reasons: 1. I was told it would cost $10 and they bumped that to $30.00... and, 2. I have been a loyal customer of them for countless years. One would think they would accept the old printer (which was in good condition) without dinging me another $30. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Too bad their service really sucks. The manager was an arrogant $#*! as well. Bye, bye Office Depot. Hello BEST BUY!.

I've never had a good experience ordering furniture or technology online from Office Depot.com. This time I ordered a chair for curbside pick up. I received an email confirmation that the order would be ready in an hour. Then a second email said it was not really available and that a manager would call me. I didn't wait and called the store and was told me I should go back online and order the chair with a second separate transaction. My next email confirmation said it would be delivered 5/21. My next email said the chair would be delayed until 5/28. My next email said I could expect 1-2 days past 5/28. I checked the tracking today and it's being delivered 5/26. What a complete joke their online ordering process is, office max is putting items on sale showing in stock at stores that you can order from but they don't actually have any. Then office max doesn't have a handle on what's in stock at their wh or their supplier on these items they just put on sale. Not impressed, I could fix this whole process in a few weeks with their IT department.
One more thing, why there's a link to check my order on their emails yet I have to input my phone number and the order number after it takes me to their website?
Great price on the chair, the company is a mess. I just moved from as an example Boca Raton you should see the 625,000 square-foot headquarters they paid $130 million that I don't think they ever filled half of it with employees and it's probably been empty the last 15 months with people working remote.

Our company is using their Business Office Depot service, and it is AWFUL. Three times I have placed a larger order ($500 plus) and three times they provide a delivery date and the items don't come. Their website shows that the items have been delivered, and THEY ARE NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. Then I get to fight with them for 10-14 days to get my delivery. Always promising a delivery date, and never receiving the items on the date, but they are quick to charge my credit card for items not received. Working with their resolution team is not much better. They keep making promises and not delivering. So if you need Office Supplies and you are in the Lansing Michigan area. Find another vendor unless you spend hours of your time trying to get your supplies.

I purchased a DataVAC from this store (online) under the assumption that it would be compliant with US standard outlets and currents. When I received the package realized that it was made for use over-seas as it does not fit into any standard US outlet and it does not bring an adapter. Instead of assisting in receiving a replacement or a refund, I was simply dismissed.
The packaging of the DataVac clearly as a US flag on it and lists the voltage/current of 220V, but the correct voltage for use in the US should be 120 volts single phase/60 hz. The DataVac that was sent to me was 220 volts single phase/50 hz. I cannot use the product at all.

My small business has shopped at Office Depot for years, but no more. When I discovered I couldn't access my account or place orders online with either Safari or Firefox, I call OD's technical support, and was informed that OD's website doesn't support my Macintosh OS version. So I was resigned to having to place delivery orders by phone and access my Worklife Rewards by phone. That's bad enough. But then when I placed an order by phone last week, the representative, after repeating back all the item numbers I had ordered, somehow forgot to actually order half my items! And since I couldn't get any confirmation until the order shipped, I had no way of knowing that half the items had not been ordered! Worse yet, they split my order, so when I received shipping confirmation for some items, I had no way of knowing the others had not even been ordered! This is just not worth the hassle! Since OD clearly doesn't care about my business, I'll just have to take it elsewhere.

I ordered Viva paper towels recently and they said the carrier couldn't ship but had confirmation thru my email it would be delivered so I suggested there is 2 in the city I live in i can go pick it up myself but i feel they are trying to get out of the sale price that was listed but I'm going to dig deeper into this own up to your mistakes and correct it.

I went to Office Depot o but a desktop PC. I was told they did not have what I was looking for but they could order of for next day pick-up. When I went to the desk to place my order, I was told I had to make my order online. I did not have a computer that worked so I called 1-800-GO-DEPOT and placed my order for next day pickup. After placing my order and accepting my payment and charging me twice they canceled my ordered. I went to Office Depot at Chantilly Crossing in Chantilly, Va, I was told that the order was never put in. I called Office Depot on what happen they had no explanation but I was charged and would get my money back in 3-5 days and they do not do next day pickup. After 5 days nothing so I call Office Depot and I was told I was charge twice it would take 3 to 7 business days to get my money back. The person I was talking with could not understand my concern so I asked to talk to a supervisor. When talking with a supervisor she could care less and when I ask her name she said they were not allowed to give their last name. She told I was only charged once but I was twice by Office Depot and my bank they charged me twice. After placing an order paying twice having my order canceled I could not get an explanation and nobody was willing to help me. After looking at add on my computer it said next day pickup but your customer service they do not do next day pickup. I will never buy from Office Depot ever again. Nobody seems to know anything, worse service ever. I anybody ask me I will tell them to stay away from Office Depot

I ordered a plotter (Epson T2170) thinking that Office Depot is a reputable online vendor. It was to be delivered in 3 - 5 days. The delivery date was set back twice, but it never arrived. When I followed up it appears that Office Depot did not stock it so they relied on an overseas company to drop ship it. The third party vendor used a third rate shipping company that did not provide tracking. After two weeks I canceled the order. After three weeks the shipping company finally contacted me about delivery.
After canceling the order with Office Depot I ordered a replacement from B&H Photo. It was stocked in a warehouse in New Jersey and arrived in three days. I canceled the Office Depot order after the B&H Photo plotter had arrived, was installed and working fine. I'm now working on getting a refund. Like any true American company, Office Depot has outsourced their customer relations to India.
With Office Depot the fun NEVER ENDS.

Bought a desk in July tried returning it 2 week after because horrible sent wont go away was told to air it out no problem it will go away it does not got away I get a rash on my arm also gut scraped on my arm from desk that left a light scar because the $#*!ing desk is coated with formaldehyde contacted office depot customer service FOLLOWED THEIR steps and still haven't gotten any results called their support spoke with an $#*! name kyle that was no help that admitted they coat their products with FORMALDEHYDE.
