The Watchdog of the Ontario Provincial Police is a farce and a sham!
The Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) was created to give the citizens of Ontario, Canada the appearance that the misconduct of any Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer will be properly investigated and disciplined by an unbiased, independent civilian body.
However, the OIPRD investigation is an obvious farce, sham and charade.
The OIPRD is NOT an independent civilian body because ALL its
Members are FULL OPP Police Officers!
The OPP Commissioner refused to explain how OPP Officers can be considered to be
INDEPENDENT UNBIASED CIVILIANS in the OIPRD? Likewise, the Premier of Ontario, and the Ontario Attorney General, have both refused to respond to all questions and letters.
