Old Navy sells casual wear. They are always having sales and if you can wait it out, theres usually a 30% sale. But lots of times, lts of sizes wont be available during the sale. I love the free shipping.
I ordered a whole bunch of items for my daughter and the following day they cancelled my order for potential fraud alert- meanwhile, it was already withdrawn out of my account yesterday and they want to refund my money in 5 days but it was taken out of my bank account. Now they want to reorder the items and have me pay the same amount again. This was my bank card. REALLY? So I paid $120 and now I would have to pay another $120 = $240. The first order hasn't even been put back yet in my bank account, and to reorder everything again means I have to pay twice for their mistake, but they keep saying the money will show up in 5 business days. They messed up my order in January 2024. What is happening to this company- it isnt the same. They mess up and the customer has to pay the price for the screw ups
I ordered some clothes over a month and a half ago there is no update on my items. It's supposed to be be 3-5 business days. I tried tracking it, it said 'we're unable to locate package' over two weeks ago. No other further updates.
Quality of clothes really gone down I shop there a lot and the last few times it's been bad I keep saying I'll give another chance but no more them a employee made a horrible comment to a customer that made me sick. As much as I loved them I will never be back. U have ads on tv talking about love for all maybe u need to teach that to your employees instead of trying to get business from s ad that lies. I did tell the manager who actually laughed yea really funny. She tells me every one is just stressed due to the virus. Ok that does not give anyone a right to act this way. If you are stressed due to lack of business then maybe treat customers better so they will come back. Don't loose the few u Have
Buyer beware! Price was advertised $6 less than what my credit card was billed. Easy to remedy via customer service? NO! They said the lesser price must have come from somewhere else, not them. They are tricky and fraudulent and unwilling to correct their error but instead inferred I made it all up. 65 year old retired college professor trying to hustle a wannabe retail player. Save your purchase details with screen shots. I did, which makes them liars and thieves. Cancel order, crooks!

None and will not ever support this business. First and last time. Disreputable business.screen shot everything, they will call you a liar and charge you more than what the price was when you ordered. Waiting on my refund now. Will update this next chapter of the misery of dealing with a cut rate business.
Ordered clothes. The expected date came n went with no delivery. Called them was told it would be 5 more days warehouse was behind. Over 5 days later got an email stating clothes were no longer available. REALLY. So I waited over 3 weeks. I finally just called to get my money back. Total joke. Don't waste your time. I'll go through Amazon. They get their stuff shipped and delivered in no time.
I received an email (quite some time after ordering) stating that an item I ordered was sold out (well, multiple items, really) and can't be shipped to me. About 2 weeks later, it is now it is showing available?! Auto-replies to my multiple email attempts stating they don't respond and encourage you to call a phone number where you wait on hold 2+ hours before hanging up because no one ever answered. Also have a package with the majority of my items I ordered that has been "In transit to UPS" for a month... but again, I can't contact anyone to get it straightened out. So that's cool...
Be careful with old navy. I've raved about their yoga wear in the past, but will be careful going forward.
They'll tell you your billing doesn't match your shipping even if you know it has to. I'll be paying out of pocket for two items that didn't make it, even though everything else arrived? They hung up on me, and asked me to fill out a survey for them…like really?
Tip for consumers:
Be careful when choosing items. Make sure your accounts are up to date.

Why is it that 95% of their ads are now African American people? Is this the audience that you're now trying to attract for your clothing line? I just received an old navy ad and just on the front page there were 27 African Americans and 6 whites 2 of which were standing with African Americans…. I definitely won't be purchasing clothing from here anymore nor will my family and friends after seeing the message I sent them. This is a shame. They destroy our monuments and our towns full of small business owners that lost everything because of them and the whole world decides to let them do what they want now even taking over our advertising? What is this world coming to?
Since when is it ok to keep your customer on hold for 48 minutes? I finally hung up. I need to know when an order will arrive that I ordered 10 business days ago. Also why are the masks taking soo long?
They have cheap clothes at cheap prices. If that is what you want or can afford then this is your store. I definitely feel uncomfortable in the setting of the store. It feels like a bargain basement environment with ugly not made well clothes laying all around. Their new ad campaign is an in your face mixed race couple. Not sure how that does anything but cause attention which can offset their lack of quality or appearance of the clothes they offer. The bottom line is to make a buck from whomever and however.
Recently, I bought some clothes at Old Navy. They lasted only until the first gentle wash. Colours were running. A light cream colour blouse turned dark pink, brown, purple. Misty pink shirt turned brown. Green emerald top stretched in the wash, colour was bleeding and damaged good items. It looked like their clothes were dyed with watercolour.
Tip for consumers:
Cashiers have become rude, they look bored.
I purchased 3 items on 4/8/20, returned two on 5/11/20 and still have not received a refund. Despite multiple attempts, the 800 number simply put me on hold for over an hour and then hang up. The online chat feature always gives the message "Sorry, no agents are available. Please try again at a later time!" Today is 6/11/20 and it is already a month and I still can not reach a live customer service representative. Old Navy needs to step up their customer service department and refund my money back. Lack of customer service is not acceptable customer service.
I placed an order on April 16,2020. It said I would receive it in 5 to 8 business days. I know it will take a little longer because of Covid. It is now March 9 my order has not been processed. I cannot contact anybody on their chat or their phone number. I messaged them through Facebook and got generic responses. The last one said they have no shipping date and I have no idea when it will be shipped. I just want my order. And possibly honesty from Old Navy.
I returned some items over a month ago. I have called several times and I get a different answer each time I call. Now I have to wait for an email to tell mw why my refund is so late. Ridiculous. I order everything on line and have made many returns to all kinds of stores. Including many clothing stores. I have never had so much trouble getting my own money back. Good thing I kept all my shipping and return information because they act like they don't know. Worst customer service!
I will never buy from old navy again. Their clothes have gone down hill terribly and the company LOVES to dabble in all the leftist politics that circulate the media today. Go ahead leftists support the ugly clothes this company sells I'm shopping elsewhere.
Cancelled my $1,000 order (paid with my old navy credit card) for absolutely no reason. Instead of calling me, or sending a text for me to verify I made the purchase, they cancelled it. I needed all of this clothing to replace items from a robbery while vacationing in San Francisco, CA in which the thieves stole everything we had with us on vacation. My bank is able to send a quick text to verify purchases; why not Old Navy?!?
Many of my items were no longer available by the time the "research" department was open to verify and replace my order.
HORRIBLE customer service, Old Navy!
Do better.

None, they cancelled the entire order.
My girlfriend has worked at old navy for about 2 months and they've been awful. First off she's a student so her availability isn't as flexible. They promised to accommodate her but they schedule her for during school. We then had her availability changed and they still did the same thing. They'll also schedule her for days that she specifically marked as unavailable. And it's not just once or twice. It's every single week. We've had to turn our lives upside down because my girlfriend is bending over backwards for a company that can't even pay her right. Countless times they've put her to work in a position that she's never been trained to do and it's driving her stress levels through the roof. It's absolutely ridiculous and no one should have to put up with some of the stuff they throw at her. I am utterly disgusted with some of the things i hear and for those reasons and many more i will never take part in anything having to do with Old Navy again.
Even if you have a damaged item upon arrival, they give you two options:
1. Drive to a store with your item (in my case the nearest store is 73 miles away), so it's a no-go.
2. Contact customer service where they'll tell you to purchase the same item and they won't credit your account until you send back the old item (I hope you have a printer to print the shipping label) then you have to contact them again to let them know that they have to credit your account.
Oh yeah, and you have to create your own shipping label after you locate the item number. All while trying to work around the language barrier of the customer service representative (who is equally as frustrated and likely very underpaid). It's definitely not a fun time…
Don't even get me started on their Supercash scam where they require you to spend X amount before you can redeem.
Long story short—— old navy sucks
I bought a swimsuit for my daughter on June 1. At the beginning of July I noticed she hadn't worn it yet and asked if she still wanted it. She had changed her mind and decided she didn't like it. So I took it back to the store, brand new with the tag still attached and receipt in hand. Because I was seven days past their ridiculously small return window, I was given NOTHING. I will no longer be buying anything from Old Navy. It's not worth the risk!
I know things are bad and I'm trying to be patient but 30 plus days and still no refund for a shirt they made the mistake. And forget calling... they just tell you to call back. Today I waited 2 hours and got disconnected. I'm never ordering from them again.
Are used to shop at Old Navy quite frequently. On one occasion I walked out of the store and someone had placed sandbags all the way across the sidewalk. I tripped over one and fell. I skinned my elbow and knee pretty bad but worse than that, I fractured a rib. I had $1000 of medical bills which I sent copies of all documentation to Old Navy and simply asked for them to reimburse me. They ignored me entirely. I don't have time to chase them so I will write reviews and never shop there again
Made to feel like a criminal! Don't ever lose your receipt or you will be made out to be a criminal! It is obvious they err on the side of theft vs a customer that actually spends money in their establishment. Today I tried into exchange some clothing due to sizing but got denied and was told basically too bad. The clothing was given as a gift and I did not have a receipt. It turns out that I committed an Old Navy crime. Since 2014 I have had 5 returns w/o a receipt. Therefore, I am not allowed to EVER return anything again. We had to ask the gift giver for the receipt (which was uncomfortable) We took all the clothes back and asked for a refund! Great job Old Navy for not saving the sale, providing horrible customer service and losing 3 customers. I will tell everyone about my experience. Keep it the great work!
I put in an order 23 days ago and the money was taken from my account, but the items still have not shipped! I have tried to get a hold of customer service via telephone, email, and through customer feedback to no avail. I'm stressed out bc I need either the clothes I purchased for my son or the money back asap. It's been a terrible experience!
I have bought my work jeans from here for about two months now. They do not last a year or more they last a good month or less. The material is easy to wither, tear, and even break when just bending down to pick something up. I've paid $60 upon each visit for a total of 2 to 3 pairs of pants and I am upset that I pay such a large amount of money and do not get good quality material that is reliable.
I ordered a significant amount of items for Christmas gifts starting in November. 4 if the items either didn't fit the person or they didn't like it. I just got the fourth item back (I replaced these gifts with other items that were not from Old Navy). All tags are on the items and I have my receipts. I tried to return them to the Midland, MI location today. I was told that they would not take the items back as it is past 30 days. I asked about an in-store merchandise credit instead of a refund. I was told "no" and that I should just take the items to a resale shop and see if they give me anything for them. I have never dealt with a retailer who treats their customers like that. GAP/OLD NAVY should be ashamed……they are nothing more than a joke.
Don't waste your time. The clothes are cheaply made and basically fall apart. They also refuse to budge on their 30 day return policy. They just give you the run around. The store will deny a return and tells you to call a service number who leave you on hold for 15 minutes just to tell you that you wasted your time calling and just reiterate their 30 day return policy. Never again.
