I'm lucky enough to have one of the warehouses 20 minutes away from me so if its in stock there I can do customer pickup and save shipping costs. Shipping on an 8 foot piece of steel can almost double the price. My last order was placed mid morning got my conformation email for pick same afternoon. Great service guys and thanks.
Experience in order process and shipping was good. Still extremely unhappy with cost of freight that exceeded by far the actual cost of shipment. I actually need more of the same item previously ordered but am seeking local or alternative sources due to the shipping cost. May order from Alibaba or Aliexpress if not local.

I needed some aluminum channel and angled, various odd items to proto some things I'm working with in Ham Radio. Things like this are not available down the street and dealing with large metal distributors in the closest big town is a major trip. Those folks at the city desk have a hard time dealing the little onesies and twosies of a guy like me. Online Metasl fits the bill. Website is easy to navigate and shipping was just as expected. Items were picked and shipped from different locations, all arrived in good order. Thanks!

I placed an order for aluminum sheet material, unfortunately labels got swapped at the factory and I received someone else's order. When I contacted online metals the problem was dealt with immediately and effectively. I now have the correct parts and all is well!

Ups lost my shipment I called in to online metals and the woman who took my call was very apologetic and reorder my material and sent it next day air free of charge. Thank you very much online metals.

Order a 6061 aluminum plate. I have ordered a lot of material from OnlineMetals and I have always been happy with their products and service.

Difficulties with online ordering, lack of a contact phoine number in Seattle.
No notice that the material had arrived and it sits there for days until I chase it up... by email! Which is not efficient for ME.
It's like you guys are specializing in Sales Prevention. Too many obstacles in my path to purchase.

Ordered material as usually. Shipping company lost my order and it arrived a week late after my delivery deadline. Online Metals is awesome - UPS was not.

I filled out an online order and before sending called Online to get the discount code for September so I could insert in my order. The helpful woman sales person that answered looked my account and electronically completed all that was need including the new 10% discount. She was very helpful and efficient.
