I ordered a 0.0216" thick sheet of copper, 78"x24". I got this to wrap a tabletop i'm making. I've done this before, but this is the largest table i've wrapped. OnlineMetals always sent me well packaged sheets this thin and never had a problem. Was wondering and a bit worried how a large piece would come through. It arrived today and i noticed it was pretty heavy. When i unwrapped it, i found out why -- the copper was attached via plastic film pallet wrap to a 3/4" thick piece of particle board MDF! Needless to say, the copper was perfect! Now i know why the shipping was so high, but worth it! And of course, i got my monthly discount, which helped ease the cost! I will continue to buy from OnlneMetals for all my metal needs!

Recently I made an order for material and half of the shipment was lost or something. Thankfully the awesome customer service went far and beyond to get the material ordered on its way. Been using online metals for a few years - great way to get custom-cut metal delivered right to your door for a good price. They've always gotten my orders right, and shipping costs are surprisingly decent. I have had the website do a few screwy things like calculate extended prices wrong, so check your totals carefully.

This was second order, went perfect like the first. This was for plastic. Everything about the whole process is easy and happens properly. Like it!

Ordered hard-to-find perforated steel sheets to use as panels in the cabinet doors on my great room built-ins where I will have A/V equipment. I was looking to mimic the door panels found on my high-end Salamander Design audio cabinets. The carbon steel sheets were cut exactly to my specifications, shipped promptly and packed incredibly well to prevent damage. After spray painting with primer followed by a few coats of gloss black, they look amazing and indistinguishable from the Salamander audio cabinets I have in other rooms in the house. Wish I could include installed pics, but I'm waiting for the retainer molding from the cabinet maker Thanks OnlineMetals!

I ordered 12 feet of 2" DOM steel tube and picked it up in 2 hours at will call. When I arrived I was welcomed by two different employees and told someone would be right with me. A gentlemen who was busy moving material stopped what he was doing and came to help me. He asked for my name and order number and just like that I was on my way. My experience with Online Metals.com was a good one. Ordered on line and picked up locally. Odds are they will have it in stock. I could have picked up the same day, but chose to pick up the next day. Will buy from again as needed.

Fast shipping, good packaging, good price on rectangular aluminum bars which are difficult to find elsewhere. I have always been happy with Online Metals service.

Got some stock material I needed for a project, overstock sale saved a good chunk of money, customer support was excellent. Packaging wise, could've done with a regular box on the rectangular tubing, and a tube for the flat bars, but other than that everything worked out nicely and was a good money saver.

Its okay, my problem is the handling of my shipping account number.
1. You shipped to arrive on Saturday. I'm not happy about that!
2. The shipper billed me twice.

Every time we order form Online Metals, the order is cut and shipped quickly. Customer service is always quick to respond to any status inquiries and other issues as well.

Great selection, good prices, I've only ordered mild steel but the quality seems fine. The metal welds good. My last order of angle iron was not cut straight though, all the ends were cut on a little bit of an angle. That's been the only problem I have ever had. Will continue to buy my metal from them. Delivery is pretty quick since there only maybe 60 miles away, I order and have delivery because I have no way to haul the stuff I order.
