I'm lucky enough to have one of the warehouses 20 minutes away from me so if its in stock there I can do customer pickup and save shipping costs. Shipping on an 8 foot piece of steel can almost double the price. My last order was placed mid morning got my conformation email for pick same afternoon. Great service guys and thanks.
Experience in order process and shipping was good. Still extremely unhappy with cost of freight that exceeded by far the actual cost of shipment. I actually need more of the same item previously ordered but am seeking local or alternative sources due to the shipping cost. May order from Alibaba or Aliexpress if not local.
Ordering from Online Metals is super easy. Delivery is also very fast. Gotta love the coupons they send too!

Online Metals is a good resource for metal. Shipping can hurt you some; however, I think the metal prices are pretty good.
Thanks for the feedback! I do apologize for the shipping cost, we do try to provide you with the best shipping cost we can, since it calculated directly by UPS through our website, we can not always change it, but we can almost always help more on the material cost.
While my experience with online metals was pleasant. The same can not be said for RL Carriers. It took RL a week to deliver my order!

My order was processed and sent out promptly. It was exactly what I needed.
However, the UPS delivery took10(!) days.
Always great service and materials are first class and well packaged.
