Very frustrating experience, I sent out quotes for moving a vehicle cross country, I had a set date for a car show and needed to pick up and drop off on specific dates. Onroad said it would be no problem.
As the pickup date approached the communication with the agent stopped, I tried to press them for a carrier DOT number and bill of lading but all the owner could give me was excuses or evasive answers.
The day the vehicle was supposed to be picked up I called and texted and emailed multiple times, never got an answer, I called their main line multiple times. I finally got a text saying that the carrier they had booked did not want to take my vehicle after all.
I called the main line multiple times again no answers. A few days later I get a call that they can pick up the vehicle (its already too late at this point) and I told them to cancel the order that there was no point anymore. They threatened to charge me cancelation fees. I had a lawyer go over the contract and it stated that they cannot charge me fees unless a carrier had been dispatched already. Telling them I had a lawyer made them back off
To make matters even worse, I gave them negative reviews on social media, the owner called me and said he would pay me 50$ if I deleted the reviews. So yeah that is the kind of company you are dealing with here.
Tip for consumers:
Only use these guys if you are going from a big city to big city also be wary of their price and get other quotes, these transport companies really dont do anything other than take money out of the truckers pocket, so if they give you a cheap price it just means they will only attract truckers that are lower quality
