oohilove has a rating of 2.5 stars from 109 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about oohilove most frequently mention bid pack, and penny auction problems. oohilove ranks 113th among Penny Auction sites.
This website is NOT a scam, it is simply a different kind of online auction. The pay to bid style helps keeps the price of luxury items down. Like any auction, there is only one winner so it sometimes takes more than one try to win an item. This is probably why they list the same items multiple times. The facebook page shows videos of people who have won so I think that speaks for the legitimacy of the site. The company is based in California, all the items are brand new and guaranteed.
This site was nothing more than a HUGE SCAM. Several years ago I signed up to bid and won a $500 Bloomingdale's Gift Certificate, but trying to actually get them to send you what you have won is impossible. First, you must jump through all of their hoops. Then they tell you your item will arrive in approx. 15 days. When you never receive your item they use all kinds of stalling tactics and ultimately stop responding to emails. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Next thing I knew the website was closed down. Evidently, I was not the only one who filed a complaint.
I have visited number of auctions sites last days and never be impressed from them, as i found the oohilove also there and decide to visit it, As i never want to play anymore because i have already lost money on other auctions site so thatswhy not ready to take risk... But somehow me and my girl friend both of us purchased one bid pack from the site and called us the oohilove support for assistance as we didn't know how to play it, They really guide us well and finally start bidding on the web site. Might be we have a very good luck on last wednesday and we won the Tiffany Pendants for my girl friend. Just here to share my experience. It was really very nice. And waiting for my item as they promise us to deliver it within 2 or 3 week. When i will get it, will be back on site jabber and share my winning tiffany pendants with you all.

I really feel that it's a scam. There's been a user cheerleader007 that has been using bidding assistant for an item when it was only 10.00. The auction is still going and the item is now at 72.00 with the highest bidder still being cheerleader007. I calculated it and that means she has spent around $3600 just on the bidding. That's ridiculous. That's more than twice what the bag is worth. FAKE $#*! WEBSITE!

I placed a bid for a 100 bid pack this morning. When I checked the site this evening, there was no history of my bid at all, yet the bid was removed from my account. Definitely seems sketchy... I sent the company an email regarding my issue. I will update you with their response.

Great site on where original price and the brands are so awesome and anyone can win them with so much margin in the prices on them, NOW thats amazing, bidding process is amazing. The information given by the site has so far been 100 percent accurate, and easy to navigate. Overall 4 stars to the site.

Add me to the list of millions who have been suckered again! When you click on bid once, it's $1, even though your name never got to the screen, so being first time user, I would click again to make sure it got my click for bid. What a sucker I am. Yes, these are all scams. Unfortunately, being human, one must try anyway even after reading all the negative comments. I agree with most of the other bad reviews, that most of the bidders are company people controlling it. This low cost on "sold" items encourages many to keep bidding, but we all failed to understand it's website/company controlled. They make millions on the "clicks". Why shouldn't they sell for a very low price on a high price item, because they're making tons of $1's on our clicks! Join the idiot club!

Just spent an entire evening on this website. Great idea if it was run fairly. Good luck trying to outbid the computer bidder! My nemesis on two bids were 'binbuckin' and 'english girl'. They had unlimited amount of money ex: spending $400 on bids for a bid pack worth only $200. English girl managed to win 4 big items in one evening(she must be magical). Both had an identical way of bidding mostly with 'bid assistent' and sometimes to convince us they were human they would switch to manual. Save your time and your money! Stay far away from this sham! Oh yes, I fully understood how to use this website and am not stupid or else I would still be using it!

It takes some time to understand but I actually won 2 things over the past month: tiffany earrings and a 100 bid package... best advice I can give is to observe the bidders and see what price some of the auctions previously closed at. I LOVE THIS GAME! :)

I am glad to hear that I am not alone in being "scammed." I saw this on the news, and it was a great way to buy designer items at very low prices. After 2 times buying $99 bid packs, (eeeeeeeeek) I feel scammed by the site. Having a few people look over my shoulder, they determined that the auction end is arbitrary. So it looks like there is a price selected and when it hits, you win. I feel scammed and will be contacting the attorney general of CA about it, although they have bigger issues to worry about... and I just should have known better! :(

I noticed their big authentictiy claim yet they have a picture of a LV speedy with upside monogram on it, this is is typical of fake LV bags. What the hell? They must really think people are stupid. Then to double check I found this site and it confirmed my suspicions. I think the people that have written that they actually won bags on via the site, are probably hired by oohilove to calm the bad reviews, stay away!

I have just watched an auction on this website for the Louis Vuitton Galliera bag. The winner spend $1,362.08. This bag costs $ 1,280 for the 16.5"" x 11.4"" x 6.7 if you purchase it directly from Louis Vuitton If you are taking part in these auctions with the purpose of buying the item regardless of whether you win or not you might want to cheek out the real retail value of the item.

I feel like an idiot going on this site. It is a waste of time! You sit there for hours trying to bid/win and by the time you know it you have bid more than you wanted to and are left with love dollars... which is a joke! I don't recommend this site to anyone... dont waste your time!

I found this website in the side ad column on my facebook page so I decided to visit. I did not purchase any bids nor would I because I quickly did the math and realized they make ridiculous amount of money within no time whether the items are legitimately authentic or not. For example, you are essentially purchasing every bid at $1 give or take because apparently if you purchase higher bids you "save". Every bid adds $. 02 each time and for instance, I saw that one of the previous winners had won a Dior quilted bag for $268.84. Take that amount and divide by the amount per bid ($268.84/$. 02 = *******bids) and considering each bid essentially costs you $1 per bid, they earned easy $13,442! That's not including the price the winner has apparently won at $268.84 totaling $13,710.84! Is that not enough to convince you that there is obviously something wrong with this picture here?

I think the site is making so much money with the help of other people's money... but its the way to do a buisness and the concept they have given is so great. People compete with each other and win products on so low rates. Dont see how much money they are making because they had the potential, intelligence and the energy to make that much of money not the people who gave bad comments for the site. Just learn how to play the game and you can win easily. Ya one more thing, you can't win everytime u play any game in your life, put this in ur mind and then play... ALL THE BEST to all and KEEP IT UP oohilove.com

After I had "won" an item at a very fair price they had me jump through many hoops and I still have not received it. They had me FAX my driver's license several times (sensitive info covered) and although the item has been paid for by VISA, I can't get them to tell me how I should pay for shipping costs. They have it listed as waiting for shipping approval. They said they did not have my address which was listed TWICE on the address page and on my driver"s license. I would not go through this hassle which has lasted for days and numerous calls and emails for any bargain. I get a different person on the "support team" each time I email and have never been able to speak to anyone by phone. You can only leave you number. Not worth it. If not resolved soon BBB and VISA fraud dept.

I can't understand what's with the incessant whining going on in these reviews about this site being a scam. It is very clearly a PAY-TO-BID site. The language on how to use the site is very clear and straightforward. The language around the Bid packages is very clear and straightforward. If you do the quick math, it is pretty clear that each bid costs the user a $1 - and each time you bid, you are out a dollar. That's part of the fun. It is possible to win these high end bags for more than 90% off the cost of retail. I personally have won two bags on the site. They are real, authentic bags. The site is legit and it was MY decision how much I wanted to bid on each auction. No one "scammed" me into buying bids or pushing the bid button. If you don't understand the simple concept of pay to bid, or understand why these auctions can take an exorbitant amount of time to actually win, then stick with eBay. But stop crying foul or saying it's a scam. It's not.

Penny Auction wears Prada. Don't be fooled by the official looking website. The items are most likely authentic but you will need to place a lot of bids at 99 cents a pop to have a chance at winning and bidding wars are painfully tedious to sit through. On the positive, if you lost your head and placed 100 bids at a cost of 99 cents each only to lose the auction, you can apply that money spent toward the purchase of that item at its real cost. A little bit of a consolation, but if you had wanted to pay the full price of the item, you wouldn't have wasted two hours of your time bidding on it in the first place. Shop the legitimate sample sale sites instead.

I've been watching the site for about 2 months but couldn't get any independent confirmation that it wasn't a giant ripoff or how they could possibly sell@ such low "prices." Now I get it and believe. I will get back to you with my progress…after the holidays.

This site is great! I've been using it for a week and I won my first item, a REALLY cute LV bag, yesterday. I don't understand why all these people are labeling it a "scam." It's not a scam, I will say that it is a gamble. You buy your bids and then you COMPETE for the item you want. When you are competing against other users you are probably going to lose a lot (the LV bag I won was my 6th auction, and I probably spent about $60 prior to that). The website is straightforward and honest about how it works, and if you are spending money at oohilove.com you need to acknowledge that is a competition, and competitions have losers. However, I WON, so I will definitely be back. Thanks oohilove!

For the people who have not won anything from this site must be so dumb to bid on items. The simple idea to win is having much time that one can spend on the site and wait for the last seconds to bid again on the same item. One who spend most of the time will definetly win... Yes the site makes money but the person who will win, will save so much money and that can be you also. Think about it.

Read about this site from momfinds.com. Reviewed the website carefully and their "tips" inlcuding their bidassistant. Bought $30 worth of bids and tried to bid on a few things. Have 2 bids left and after watching some of these auctions go on for a very long time (which I don't have) and realizing that I could keep spending a lot of money and still NOT win anything that it's just like GAMBLING. You have to spend $1 every time you make a bid that increases by. 02. So you're not really getting a bargain. Not to mention the website is making big $.
An LV bag finishing at $120, means that the site has really made $6000 ($120 divided by 2 cents) on a bag that cost them $1600! Who makes a profit like that?

Hi,
Oohilove is very nice site i have seen after such a long time. Very cool concept by which people who have not much money to buy top brands(brands which people like me can only think about) NOW can buy those at very low prices... after winning a LV bag, I also feel like jennifer lopez... On top of the world right now... LOV YOU OOH I LOVE

I think it sucks. All the items go for 70-90% off. But the one item i bidded on went for 8% off and stopped when i stopped bidding. You have to buy bids and when your bids are up item sells. Scam, scam, scam. Thats what i think. Don't do it!
