oohilove has a rating of 2.5 stars from 109 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about oohilove most frequently mention bid pack, and penny auction problems. oohilove ranks 113th among Penny Auction sites.
This website is NOT a scam, it is simply a different kind of online auction. The pay to bid style helps keeps the price of luxury items down. Like any auction, there is only one winner so it sometimes takes more than one try to win an item. This is probably why they list the same items multiple times. The facebook page shows videos of people who have won so I think that speaks for the legitimacy of the site. The company is based in California, all the items are brand new and guaranteed.
This site was nothing more than a HUGE SCAM. Several years ago I signed up to bid and won a $500 Bloomingdale's Gift Certificate, but trying to actually get them to send you what you have won is impossible. First, you must jump through all of their hoops. Then they tell you your item will arrive in approx. 15 days. When you never receive your item they use all kinds of stalling tactics and ultimately stop responding to emails. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Next thing I knew the website was closed down. Evidently, I was not the only one who filed a complaint.
My sister Ema told me about OOHILOVE, first time i ignored it but next when she told me, I take a chance and understand all the criteria of oohilove. Its really awesome i won Tiffany pendants in just 3$. Wow Its so nice to play with ooh i love, I have received my pendants with in 2 week and they are authentic. Keep it up oohilove.

I think it is a scam even though i only loose $29.99 i quickly realise that i would not win any auctions when the same bidders are outbidding themselves evey time the auction get to 5 seconds. I regreted buying the bid pack.

I won a Gucci handbag on March 7,2011 and they said if I'm not receive the item by the 15th business day then contact them. Well I contact them on the 16th day which is a few days ago and their email was on and off. Finally they email me and said will get back to me soon. At first I didn't think it's a scam because they once credit me $200 back on my credit card. Now it's 18th business day already (Mar 31,2011) and today the website is closed. My bag has not arrive and I still have 72 bids ($72) in my account. I almost buy another 200 bids last night but when I entered a valid coupon code, it said invalid. I then suspicious and wait for today and see what happen. What happen to my all my $72 and the Gucci bag I won? I know I'm not the only one and I know it's not a scam because there's people actually receiving the bag. Anyone write down their phone number.

Oohilove is a magnificent site made for those shopaholics who love handbags. Site gives you so many so real brands that one can't imagine and everyone can have them with such a big margin in their rates. But all who want these handbags must learn how to play the game, or else they will only be left lost evry cent they have got. The site gives each and every detalis, how to play and after winning an item they will get it within 2 weeks of time... i found it so coool... dont u?

I love this site so much and want to tell all who hate it "F%#@ YOU ALL". They never had any problems with the bidding or the products, they don't have any personal bidders of their own, I won so much from here and i love them so much, they have no problems with returning your money if u don't want to buy the product, They are always so co-oprative and are not so rude and dumb like you people. The delivery time of the products is so awesome. I got all my products in around 2-3 weeks of time. The customer support people are so lovely, understanding and helping... If you people have any problems with the site, then stop playing. But don't criticize them for what they do... They are doing gud to people by giving them fantastic brands in such low prices... LOVE YA "OOH I LOVE"

One word people, SCAM. Don't bother or waste your time or money. I joined about 7 hours ago, because they had a link on Ebay and I thought I was dealing with a reputable company. I was not. I already sent them an email asking for a full refund, we'll see what happens. I'll be contacting Ebay about this fraudulent company and asking why they have them as a link on their website.
IF IT'S TOO GO TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. Stay away and save your money!

I think from my personal experience(won so much from this site) that oohilove is good and the concept they made is so cool. They give people the chance to buy the products which they can't afford in such reasonable rates which they can't even imagine. No doubt oohilove is making money with their site, and why not? They have the right to make money with their products... DUHH... I think, people who gave such bad reviews on the site are either didnt got what they want(i mean the products) or they are the compitetors who don't want oohilove to go up in the market... but i wish oohilove all the very best and says KEEP IT UP... PEACE

Oohilove is geared toward predominately the female audience carrying items like Louis Vuitton pocket books, Tiffany and Co. Jewelry and Gucci items among other designer brands that are exclusively for use by women. U ROCK OOHILOVE.

I wish I did my research first before signing up for oohilove.com - what a waste of money! First off, I read everything on their website and even watched the video tutorial - I was convinced that their website was 'real' and it seemed legit to me, so I finally caved in and entered my credit card info and purchased the lowest 'bid pack' which was $29.99.
I started bidding on their Marc Jacobs bag and was doing pretty good until all of a sudden all these 'bid assistants' started to out-bid me and of course I eventually ran out of bids and could not continue. What's really strange is I waited until the last 10 seconds to start bidding, because I knew at least 3 other people were watching that same bag... as I sat there watching their 'manual bids' I started to notice all these 'new bidders' popping up. (This of course raised a red flag to me). I knew something was not right here. I have a feeling it's the company's employees who monitor the site and make sure suckers like me do not win the luxury designer bag. What a waste of time & money.
The good news is I only gambled $30 on this website --definitely a hard lesson learned -- PLEASE STAY AWAY from oohilove.com... they are running a scam!

This is the best website I found last year. They do what they said, I did a great business with them. If you are looking for a bargain then go to OOHILOVE, they have all the top brands you can think of. I won some items and those were delivered to me withen 2 weeks of time which were real and so cooool... Love you OOHILOVE

This site has pretty items, though I've been watching it for a long time and not won anything. Not sure if it's a scam or not, though things are advertised as genuine? Don't see real bargains yet.

This website is a scam at it's best! The "bidding assistant" is winning almost everything. My husband and I stayed up till 5am (started at 7pm) wasting our time and money! "cheerleader007" was the user name that was using the computer and spent close to $3000 on an item that retails at $1660! No daubt this is a scam and the website is most likely using their own user names to win the bidding items. Just think, The LV bag got "sold' for $98 meaning, $4900! If we subtract $3000 the website made $1900 and kept the item to list it again in a couple of days! What a great way to scam innocent people! Q: couldnt "cheerleader go to LV store and purchase the bag AND a wallet for that cost?!? Hmmmm?
Oh, and by the way... this same bidder is bidding all the time for other items and has unlimited funds! (There are other user names that are doing the same). Coincidence?! I think NOT!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! There are better ways to spend it!

I found this while I was checking to see if Ooh I Love was for real or a scam. From what I've noticed, timing is everything. And the site is making money hand over fist with how the bidding process works. I thought I'd still try it out though, as you mentioned it's gambling. And i paid $50 to try and won a Louis Vuitton purse for a 90% discount, YESSS... i got the bag, its AUTHENTIC LV purse and I M LOVING IT. ;)

Elvis was probably thinking of people that run this type of operation when he wrote "Don't be cruel to a heart that's true". They lead you on in promise of something you desire and at the last moment, they kick it down the road just out of reach. Over and over again till your broke or you overpaid. This reminds me of a radio contest they had down in San Diego at Belmont Park in the early 90's. They had a contest that 10 people who got to the finals get to ride the roller coaster there all day until one is left. The last person to get off would win a new car. This contest went on for days until there were only 2 people hell bent on making it to the end. That's when they modified the rules so that when they were finished at the end of the night they had to sleep in the seats of the coaster. The 2 poor souls were only allowed to eat tuna melt sandwiches and drink warm mountain dew. I believe they did this for several weeks until they felt so sorry for the two folks that they each got cars. That station never did that contest again! That would be the only difference between this website and the radio station, the website would of let them keep on going until one of them died. I know my opinion is very subjective but that is the way I strongly feel about these type of sites preying on desperate people trying to get a good deal.

I personnally LOVE the penny auction game... and it is a game... you are bidding for items much the same way you play the slots... hoping for a win. That being said this web site WAS AWFUL. I bought a 99 bid pack and recieved nine bids instead of 99. I then spent the NEXT FOUR WEEKS trying to get them to correct their mistake. I had to call THREE times and was put on hold a total of FIVE times. I will NEVER use the web site again nor would I recommend it.

OOH I WISH I read these reviews before signing up. I watched the FAQ video on the site, and I thought I understood how it worked, so I bought the 30 bid pack, and started bidding. It was fun, then I realized that every bid... meaning evey click... cost $1 On my first bid, I was the highest bidder until the last 15 seconds, and of course someone came in and bid higher than me, then within the last 5 second, I big again, and GUESS WHAT, the clock reset at 10 second again, so another bidder came in and outbid me. I thought it was a glitch, so I bid again, lost another $1 (bid point), and GUESS WHAT again!? The clock RESETS again to 10 seconds. My gosh, what a scam, they could have someone working there keep bidding against the real bidders. Every time we click, they make $1. I want to make that kind of money!
What a stupid $30 I wasted?

My view about this site "average" because they have all the top brands, cool handbags, some bad and more gud reviews about the site, from the winners i got it that they are NOT frauds or a scam BUT my personal view is that the site should also add more products except from handbags, sunglasses, cards, jewellry etc. This will add more admirers to ur league... but overall the site SOOO COOL... ooh i love handbags. So i love u ooh i love...

Dont bother wasting your money... and if you have already signed up... wait until the last minute to bid and hope that you have enough to hang in there. WHAT A STUPID RIP OFF TO US SCHMUCKS THAT JUST WANTED A DEAL... its more like a lottery... if your lucky you will win... STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE... WASTE OF MONEY

People who says oohilove is a scam should also see that the winners are also writing here on sitejabber and they said they have got their products and are authentic, so that means you people are wrong and you should be sorry to oohilove.com for being so rude. KEEP IT GOING OOHILOVE

Ok, This site is an absolute SCAM! I was bidding on a pair of Chanel earrings (mostly to use up bids I had bought before I realized it was a scam) I was manual bidding against a buyer using auto bid. I was out bidding this person on several occasions, when SUDDENLY "There was a problem placing your bid. Please contact us" pops up on my screen and the person I was bidding against "won." I looked back over several auctions that had ended and noticed that this "person" had won several auctions. She/he seems to have an endless supply of bids. I contacted the company and was told the message I recieved was "not possible" and to send them a screen shot. Yeah right. The auction ended several hours earlier and now they want a screen shot? I told them I want an exact pair of earrings that I was bidding on and they said "we will forward this to our technical department" lol Have not heard anything from them since. I noticed another high end designer penny auction site has recently opened on line and residents of my state are not allowed to participate. I will be filing a complaint with my states attorney generals office. Stay Away.

I don't know why people saying so bad things about oohilove when people are winning products and are happy with it. I think the problem is with the people is NOT WINNING everytime. Gals, u have to try again and again, if u seriously love the bag u want to bid on. Its not about the money here, its about the Love u have for the brand and the bag. And if u don't like the bargain, why play at the first place. Don't play and let the other person win the bag. I myself won some bags from oohilove and i still love to play for more and i don't regret wasting my money on such nice handbags i love(BTW i got them at an average of 80% discount each)... KEEP UP OOHILOVE and KEEP GOING. Don't worry about all these LOSERS.
