They take a deposit and then all they do is find ways to charge for non existent "payment reversals" and keep your money
This is pure theft, and takes advantage of the poor people trying to reestablish credit.
Someone should file a class action.
I've called 3 time since I got the card been on hold for over 1 hour each time can't use the card at a lot of places like gas station restaurants etc and waited over 3 weeks to even get the card and now I can't use it my best advice is to stay away
Set up an acct with my own money. Re: Secured I Know. They charged me an annual fee that they never told me about. No mail, no email, no calls. $35 fee turned into $65 and severely damaged my credit by 30 points for an annual fee for a card i only had a few months Called and talked to " Ken" in customer service. Not only was he not helpful he never asked me if i would like to pay down the money they stole from me.
I've been with them for years. Let's understand I'm using my own money. I've had them paid off. And they're still trying to hijack me For late fees! They have no compassion or understanding of anything that's happened with. Covid 19, loss of jobs. I do not recommend them. There are other avenues. For the past year. Is nothing but problems. Their customer service. Needs customer service skills. My balance was $6 they still said I had a late fee. I still had a hundred and ninety 4 dollars in credit. They're nuts Now they're saying I owe him ninety seven dollars and late fees.
This card sucks! If you make a payment of $50.00, they hold your money for 5 business days. I was on hold for 20 mins waiting for some one to answer and then I finally got someone who picked up and hung up the phone on me! Then I called back and was only that phone call for 55 mins before someone answered me. I have another credit card with First Premier that I've had for 9 months and they have been nothing but great! I make $400.00 payments at times with access within 24 hours! Today I closed this account due to the hassle and would definitely NOT recommend this card to anyone. I close the account and it takes 3-4 weeks to get my deposit back!
Another upset customer. My husband found the company to rebuild my credit. Usual complaints: It took a week for payments to clear, I was stuck at doctor offices and checkouts when card was usually declined. After being forced to use an overdraft from my checking account in order to leave a doctor's office (and the fees involved), I cancelled the card. Next problem: I was turned over to collections 6 weeks later when the account was 'accidentally' not initially closed out. Now I have to wait another 6 weeks to see if I ever receive my deposit. Turns out the Customer service company providing services for them are even dropping the account. I'm reporting them for fraudulent practices, the company needs to be shut down.
Do not wast your valuable time which you could be using to actually build your credit. This company is a complete scam and will do the exact opposite of what they advertise. I was totally disappointing and closed the account at which point they were to issue me a refund of my 200 deposit which turned out to be a bad check and coast me bank fees.
They'll take your money fast but won't put it on your card the same way they took it. Opened the card with a $400 down payment. Recieved the card 2 weeks later with only $365 available, why not the whole 400 you took? Then made a payment of 330 and it's been almost a week and it hasn't posted yet? Will be looking into closing this account and not looking back
This card complete BS! First off to make a Payment is the most difficult I've ever experienced. And then they charged my a $25 check fee because I entered my debit card instead of account number when I did it with the account number first and it didn't work that way either! And customer service is no help whatsoever. I do not recommend this card to anyone and will be closing it ASAP

I applied and submitted a $400 payment to open the account.
I received an email stating the card was in the mail. After 3 weeks I had not received the card. I called customer service (a nightmare) and after being bounced around and calling back for over an hour, I was finally told that my account had been put on hold.
This was after "the card is in the mail."
They wanted a letter stating I lived at the address on my application!
I requested my money back, was told it would take 6 weeks. 2 days ago I received a credit card statement where they deducted the $35 fee.
Be very wary of these crooks.

Answer: I got a letter stating up to 10 weeks. What a grifter organization. Probably Hunter Biden is on their board and the big guy runs the check book!
