Flight cancelled and they refuse to issue agree a refund for at least 24 hours by which time replacement flights will have gone. Do NOT use this dreadful company that has some of the world's worst customer service.

Regarding my booking reference *******192, My flight got cancelled on 11th April 2019 by jet airways. After that there was not any alternative flight offered to me neither by Jet Airways nor Opodo. But I was told that I will be getting full refund back the amount of £540 by Opodo Customer Service team. Ever since, It has been more that 180 working days that I have been waiting for my refund back.
Now, Opodo are saying that I have to wait for another 6 months and still the refund is also not guarantee because of Jet airways crisis and payment authorization needed. This is really unacceptable. This is one of the poorest customer service that I have came across in my life. Opodo don't care about the customer and their value. I will never ever used Opodo in my life and will suggest friends and family about my horrible experience with Opodo and also tell them not to use Opodo too.

Booked on line received letter saying "booking on request", and informing me i will receive eticket and flight confimation within 24-48 hours. Received nothing, phoned Opodo( limited opening hours) on 3rd day, told booking had been cancel due to random checks to prevent fraud! And i had been sent an email to inform me of cancellation!, i was horrified as no email received, also Opodo had my phone number if they were concerned about payment details given online if there was error made etc. I insisted they needed to send me email of cancellation before they finally sent it. Now learnt my lessons and booked directly with a reputable airline at a lower cost than advertised by Opodo!. Never again will i go through Opodo or middle man!

Without my request, they added me to their prime service. I canceled as soon as I saw the first charge, a month after joining. I did not ask for this service, I did not use it, and I did not intend to use it. They fraudulently obtained my credit information when I ordered a flight ticket. Stay away from this company.

I booked a flight Cancun - Glasgow for 149pounds. After clicking to confirm, the next page said the cost was 156pounds. You also have to pay extra if you want to be told of any changes to flight times/dates.
I received an email stating that the booking could not be processed because of a problem - "Unfortunately we are unable to advise the reason why the booking failed."
Thomas Cook then emailed me to say that "You have requested to cancel your booking and as per the terms and conditions the booking is 100% non-refundable of which includes all taxes and charges."
That was all in the space of 24hrs.
30+ flights over 5 years and never have I witnessed, or even heard of, such ludicrousness.

Prices are great and it is my second time using the service but wait until you make a mistake and need their help. I know I was the one to book the wrong date but I find it super heird that even a "not changeable" ticket they do not allow you at least 24 hours to make any changes/ cancel. I made the booking at 23:31 yesterday and called this morning when noticed the mistake. Basically or I flight in the wrong date or I lost all my money because they don't let change or cancel and when I asked about the 24hs gap the lady said it expired at 12am meaning that I had only 29 minutes? Honestly booking straight with the airline from now on.

They force you to take their assurance to cancel (even though you uncheck the box) and don't display the price when you proceed to the payment, this way you do not realize it. You only realize when you receive the confirmation email with 68 more euros on the price you thought you were paying. There's no way to cancel this assurance (they support call center never pick the calls and you'll spend money on trying to contact them if you insist 0.25 /min). Was my first time with Opodo and definitely the last one

Flight got canceled due to covid pandemic. Over 2 years now and still didnt refund me my money even the airlines refunded the money to opodo.
Every time i call they send me a confirmation email that i will get refund within 7 to 10 working days. Nothing is happening they tell you this bs bank error. We raised a request. We promise u will get the refund. Bla bla bla. Scams n liars dnt book with them.

This was a untrusted company as they have lied to me numeric times ( gave fails information) tried to scam me also numeric times and treated me unfairly, which caused emotional distress for me and my family. I am planning to sue the company which will waste even more time for me but the why this issue was treated was unacceptable as the problem was not my fault and I have tried to compromise with them several times but I still got lied to and this is my last option. I went to opodo as its a well known company and will give what I need but this experience was the opposite.

I booked flight Manchester Izmir with return. Turkish Airline send email about canceled flights. Tried to sort out with same Turkish Airline but different airport London to Izmir. Apodo agents all the time telling me there isn't flights, Turkish Airline cancelled flights. I rung up to Turkish Airlines because I have account with them, they telling that there is flights and all l need to do is go trough Opodo agent. Opodo agent tells me there isn't flight! I got booked hospital there l not traveling as a tourist.

This has to be the worst company in the world, they speak very bad English, pretent they don't hear you as they pretend the connection is bad and then hang up... they really don't help at all. This company only fills there pockets and as soon as you have an issue there is 0 help whatsoever! I will never book a flight with them again, very very very bad!

I bought my ticket via Opodo. The flight company cancelled the flight, and I received an e-mail and a call from the Flight company to inform me. Problem is, in the Website of Opodo the flight was confirmed till the end. In the website of course I couldn't do anything as long as the flight is confirmed; So I called the Customer service (they didn't know about the cancellation), then began a long story including multiple calls for reimbursement claim: send us this, confirm this, tell us this. At the End they told me that my request is registered and that I have to wait till 6 Months to be refunded

I'll never book anything via Opodo. Worst experience ever.
In April 2019 I booked a flight from CPH - VIE at the end of July - one day before the flight, I got the message, that I could check in now. I tried it, but it didn't work. I looked up the Level flight and saw that it was cancelled. I contacted Level and they were very friendly and helpful. Because I didn't book via Level directly, I had to contact Opodo to get my money back. I tried it several times, but they didn't do anything.

Canadian university students trip of a life time!
Booked a flight for the first time ever from Dublin to Glasgow and was charged additional 580 Canadian dollars to my credit card, had to cancel my credit card and was left to continue my trip without secure funds. As of today,(july30th 2015) with multiple contact attempts, my funds have not been returned to me and I have filed a dispute with my bank. As a struggling student this company really made this trip a "once in a lifetime" experience. And stressed me out!

Booked 2 tkts with a non-negligeable discount vs the airline disclosed fare. What a mistake! Once your money is collected, you are on your own for a terrible ride. Totally inexistent customer service. Prey that you don't need any amendment to your arrangement. Once, never again!

Avoid OPODO, they ruined our holiday.
Sent me my flight confirmations, downloaded the App that confirmed our booking.
Got to airport and they hadn't actually booked the flight, claimed the card had been declined (no reason why!-probably my bank trying to protect me!) said they sent me an email (NO SIGN OF THIS WHATSOEVER!) and had to purchase last minute flights to the tune of £500 - supervisor that I eventually got through to was aggressive and rehearsed. Didn't listen to the customer, didn't show any understanding for stranding people in a foreign country trying to get home to their children, accepted fault in the situation but said there was nothing he would do.
I urge you to avoid - we won't stop until we get our money back, devastated.

I booked a one-way flight to Tokyo. When the confirmation email arrived, it said I'd also purchased a return flight.
I called the customer helpline (and had to stay on hold for 20 minutes) and it was explained to me that the cheapest ticket for that date happened to be a return flight, so Opodo gave me a return flight. OK, fine - but that isn't explained before you purchase, or in the confirmation email, which caused me confusion and worry.
The person on the helpline also told me that the return flight will be "automatically canceled" when I take the outgoing flight - which I don't understand. Haven't I bought that return flight too? What if I want to take the flight? Will money be refunded to me? How does it work? It isn't clear at all.

They enrolled me in Opomo Prime even though I clicked NO. Then they told me I can cancel online through my account. But I don't have an account with them! Now I have to deal with my credit card company to get my money back for an unauthorized transaction!

As The airline told me, opodo charged my card and they Pay with their corporate card to the airline.
I made my booking with Opodo, I arrive to the aipprt an they tell me that I have no tickets because there was a problem with the credit card that made the purchase, however my card was charge fully (520£).
Opodo refunded me only 200£, and not to mention that I had to buy a brand new ticket at the airport since mine was cancelled by Opodo last minute.
I have wrote 4 emails and called twice, I have gotten not one single contact or answer from them, when I call them they tell me someone will contact me in 48 hours and it has been weeks.
Not to mention that to call them you have to call a UK number which they charge for.

If I could give zero stars I would...i booked flight and received confirmation email, today I open app and I saw that my flight was cancelled. I called them to find out what was a reason, and they told me it was cancelled by my bank. Just wondering how they can send confirmation email with flight details and refence number, if they didnt get money?

I book through their site, they charge my card and send me a confirmation email with tickets, and then I go to take my flight and find out that the ticket has been cancelled. They first try to blame it on the airlines and say that the airlines have cancelled this ticket themselves, but then they couldn't and offer a flight the next day, and they choose the cheapest least convenient longest flight. Never use them

They hit me with almost 200 Euros more when I was about to pay through my credit card. I had to cancel the deal. Make sure, you read the amount you are paying when you are completing the transaction.

USELESS CUSTOMER SUPPORT. STRESSFULL EXPERIENCE!
I have bought 6 tickets from Alicante to Warsaw and made mistake in the date of flight (booked for June instead of July). I called them the same day with the request to change my booking with Wizz Air, which is normally should be with no additional charge and doesn't take a lot of time if you do it directly with the airline. Opodo agent told me that he had written request to the airline and I have to wait up to 72 hour for the outcome ( which I did not receive). Each time I called them each time I received the same answer(we made request, wait for 72 hours). It's been 11 days since I've been trying to resolve my issue with this company. I spent a lot of time hanging on my phone, it took me a lot of nerves to hear the same answer again and again with no outcome for such a simple request. This stressful experience is still going on. I am not sure if they will change the booking, if I can save my money, I can't plan my journey. And yes, I also have prime membership which is completely useless in terms of customer support. It's definitely better to book directly with the airline and avoid such a service.
