Useless. Never to be used again. Booked 5 flights on a Sunday night via Opodo only to get an email saying 'processing booking'. Checked online 24 hours later and was messaged 'we are processing booking, will be resolved within the day'. Rang the next day to find out the status and told they needed to take payment again - but after 29 minutes on the phone was told that the booking had not gone through and the the flights were no longer available! Three days and several ££hundred pounds lost.

I was trying to book with them, given I saw some good deals on flights, but they were labelled "prime", you could only get them if you were a prime member. I looked for the cost of prime membership all over their website and did not find it anywhere! I asked in the chat and the chat robot could not reply to my very simple question "what is the cost of prime?"! So you can't get the good deals unless you sign up for membership, but you can't know what that membership costs until after you purchase? (By the way, I wrote a review of that experience on Trustpilot, who replied that Opodo requested my "details", otherwise they'd remove my review. Those details comprised all my personal details. I hope this won't happen here. Besides, it's very easy to verify what I'm saying, just go to their website, and try to find out what the cost of Prime is.
Tip for consumers:
If you want to get the good deals, you must be a prime member, but the fees of being a prime member are not shown anywhere on the site. Good luck with finding them, or, you'll get the more expensive fares.

I have been using Opodo for a while, although I commend their prices range but anyone looking to solve an issue just forget their customer service is zero. Never have I had a query resolved they just take your money and that's it. Kayak and the others are way better

I had an accident and had to cancel our flights as I need to go to hospital after seriously burning my hand. The insurance company said get a cancellation invoice from Opodo - our fliights are tomorrow - I have spent the last 5 days calling them to notify them of the cancellation and I have been on hold for 3 hours plus each day and told to call them the next day as there is a computer glitch. I only want a cancellation invoice, but you can't reach anyone and thier bot is useless - so I have spent 15 hours this week on hold listening to their terrible music and getting no where. Booking with them was the worst decision I have ever made. I saved £50 booking via them versus another company but they have given me a £1000 headache and may cost me £2700. 00 in flight tickets as we are not even able to tell them about the cancellation as you can't reach them. Someone else could even book our seats - but they will just be empty. Terrible experience and waste time. Never again.
Tip for consumers:
Don't book with them, even if you took insurance with them - you can't reach them , you can't amend your flight or make any changes - only music on hold and then they tell you to call tomorrow - we wanted to cancel our flight / make changes a week ago and now the flight will leave without us (as we can't fly now) so how can we get a refund or change our dates. We are scammed by their non existent customer service!! Worst ever!!

I booked my ticket. They charged me twice then proceeded to refund me twice but for a lesser amount. Each charge incurred a "foreign transaction fee." Then only about 2+ weeks later they charged me again! (another foreign transaction fee!). I did not authorize this and I am sure its not exactly a sound (or legal) business practice. No one there was able to give me a good answer as to why they were doing that.
Sent two emails. NO response.
Called (the extremely rude service people). Finally got a supervisor who promised to call me back by end of business day. No call.
Called the next day. Got the supervisor who promised a call back in two hours (made some excuse). No call back
Called again. And it took an hour for them to agree to refund the transaction fees and their "handling fee." If I'm going to pay a handling fee it's going to be for decent service.
They try to tell you to call the airline which is just a diversion.
Never use them.

Requesting invoice for the purchased flights, already more than two weeks, the replies on the chat and call center is always: it's on its way, check your spam, you will receive it in 24 hours.
Today they said 72 hours
I won't give up on my invoice but will never use Opodo again

I booked a flight through Opodo for Ryanair, bad combination anyways. In my case, the online check-in did not work, neither through Opodo site or app, nor through Ryanair. The reservation number for my flight could not be found on Ryanair, I couldn't reach any custom service, paying 55 Euros extra, although I could prove everything with shot screens. I feel ignored and not taken serious with the problem Opodo made for me. It IS a scam. Trying to reach any service mail, but now my mails ‚can not be delivered' for some reasons. Don't use Opodo.

I was checking out flights to visit a friend in spain from my local airport when a message popped up on opodo that the price of the ticket had dropped by £100 each. I was really pleased. I rang them and had over 5 minutes wait to get through. The line was very noisy and the operator had poor English. After an age repeating over and over my requirement for the tickets she gave me a price over £260 more than quoted on line. I said I had a screen shot of the price offered but she said it was only offered for a short time depending on demand. So within 15 minutes the price had virtually doubled. I then looked at reviews for opodo and found that this is very common. A brilliant price offered then it shoots up either when you ring or even after you have paid. Dreadful way to do business.

Website is very poor. Trying to get you to sign up for many extras while going through the checkout.
Opodo then billed me, 2 months after a flight for 'Apodo Prime' £59.99 when I never signed up for it. Luckily my bank flagged this as a fraudulent transaction and stopped the payment. I now have to wait for a new card from my bank and it has been cancelled. My advice is steer well clear from this company!

I bought 2 tickets from Sydney - Adelaide but I can't travel to Australia due to urgent work requirement and I want to cancel the tickets. They team at opodo is so unhelpful and I've already spent £37 by calling them and waiting in the queue on 0870 premium number.
They are making excuse that the tickets are non-refundable and it asking me to look at the cancellation policy on their website. I was never advised that policy while I made the booking and even in their confirmation email it doesn't state anywhere.
Never ever I have received such a horrible service in the past from any airline ticket booking company.

The representative Sunny needed to be repeatedly told what to do. We booked and paid for 5 Business Class tickets all with seat preferences and the confirmation has come through with 5 economy seats and no seat preference. We paid over the phone due to the amount involved and representative confirmed the seat preference for additional fees per passenger with us over the phone yesterday and lied to us over the phone today and said we paid for economy with no seat preference, even though the amount taken is for 5 business class seats. Later had to admit his mistake. With it being so difficult to get through to an Indian Call centre with limited english and background noise you really don't want to be lied to If it was someone else they may have been pressurised into accepting this fraud. The government needs to look into regulating these rogue operators.

Their customer service is a mirage. Tried to cancel using their 24-hour, 7-day international hotline, but when I called the number the call center was "closed." By the time I found an alternate number, the automated cancellation option would not work, and the agent I was finally connected with claimed it was too late to cancel my booking even though technically we still had time left.

They increased my tickets price by two hundred and fifty pounds just a second prior to confirming the purchase. They left a note on the screen saying if I don't confirm the flight with the new price I would lose my booking. I did buy the ticket. The confirmation letter showed that Pegasus airline charged £1200 while Opodo fees was 850 pounds!
They ripped me off!

I cancelled a flight following it being brought forward by 1 day. Thomas Cook refunded Opodo the same day. Opodo tells me it's 20 working days for a refund. 20 working days to do an electronic transfer of over £540! What a joke. Will never use them again.

If you want to get less than what you pay for book Opodo!
Their customer service is not worth a nickle. When you call their number nobody picks up the phone. When you try to handle it via their internet site - they tell you to call a number and so it goes in circles.
I cannot recommend this platform to anyone. Should you however choose to use them anyways make sure to carefully read their conditions first. You are in for more bad surprises if you don't.

Booked a ticket from them which got cancelled & on the top they charged me £69.99 for the prime subscription which i never used, you cant even cancel your subscription as it wont give you any option.
And if you get it by any chance then their rubbish system wont allow you to do it.

This the worst third party travel website to book with. They book you for two separate one-way flights, make it look like a return flight, don't inform you if the second flight gets cancelled, and on top of that they send you confirmation email confirming both flights. When you call them to resolve the problem, they keep you on the phone for ages, and then hang up the phone while you speaking to them. Now we are stranded in Marrakesh and having to pay double of what we were initially quoted. If you wan turn your holiday to a disaster and pay crazy fees Opodo is the right company. For me never again Opodo, and I will make sure all family & friends never make that mistake..

I had a duplication book because their website was not working well and they still charged me £25 administration fee + £25 cancellation penalty even if it was not my fault!
Sometimes is better pay a little bit more and have a good service.

I seem to have spent what feels like half my life hanging on the phone and dealing with incompetent customer service representatives at Opodo. They contacted me in December to let me know that one of the flights I booked through them had been cancelled by the airline. Despite being on hold for about an hour since then on various calls to them, each time promised that they would sort the situation out and that someone would call me NOTHING has happened. This company is not fit for purpose. I will never use them again - they have redefined incompetence for me... just read all the other negative reviews on here and AVOID booking with them.

They offered a price freeze for a £75 flight for £7.50.
However, the full price of the flight is now over £150 with all kinds of extras added.
I then found out that a subscription was set up without my consent and had to instruct the bank to put a block on any future transactions and had to cancel my debit card as a precaution.
Please stay well away!

I purchased my tickets with Flight Cancellation Insurance and Cancel for Any Reason Guarantee. Something very important came up so I called customer service to cancel my flight but to my surprise the representative said it was not possible. So what happened to the Cancel for Any Reason Guarantee that I paid for?! And to make matters even worst, the customer service representative would not give me his name. I tried asking for his supervisor but he would not transfer the call either. I called 5 times but the same customer representative kept on hanging up. This has been a horrible experience for me. I lost money because of the lies and false information on their site. I will never do business with Opodo again!

Do not use them. They are the online site that when you book state that it is on request. First the website fell over so I called and spent hours on a premium line only to find it cancelled as they took down email wrongly. As I had booked others to meet us needed the flights. So tried on website again twice and both times thought it was booked to be cancelled for spurious credit card issues - on both cases they had not contacted credit card company

I purchased flights to Scotland from Opodo and I haven't even received a receipt or confirmation (but the money has of course gone from my account)! Because I have no confirmation I have no booking reference and can't even get help from customer service. Going round in loops with the chat bot. They've basically just taken my money and not given me the flights I've paid for. I fly in a month and considering having to repurchase the tickets from the airline. Never use this company. Will be suing and reporting to the police if I don't hear from them.

Called them from overseas, "it's been cancelled" had to buy a super expensive flight. Only got an email saying booking cancelled AFTER my return flight was scheduled. Ridiculous!
