DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!
They are THEIVES! They stole my money!
We bought a return ticket for one price in their website and the charges to my credit card were more than double, more than double!
Customer service: ZERO, NONE, you call, send emails and NOTHING is done, absolutely NOTHING!

The worst experience I ever had in my entire life! And trust me, I'm not that young...

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!

I have called them 5 times. 5 different people told me that you will have your invoice in 24-48 hours and still after 13 days I have got nothing.
The worst in one word.

I booked this flight transaction via your website on 2 March 2015 and my email confirmation stated a total price of GBP £291.33 for this transaction, made up of £139.96 for the London-Ancona outward flight, £99.29 from the Ancona-London return flight and £52.08 for your Opodo handling fee. Today I noticed in my bank account that there had been a payment taken of £105.55 for the return flight. Neither Opodo nor Ryan Air sought my approval for this extra payment. When I raised this with Paula Juan this morning at Opodo she advised me that her manager was unavailable to speak to me and that I should write a complaint on the Opodo website and take up the matter with Ryan Air. I consider that Opodo's misrepresentation of the price of my flight and Opodo's removal of money from my debit card without my approval to be dishonest and fraudulent, and I seek immediate recompense, both for the money taken without permission, and the cost of my telephone charges this morning in seeking to achieve a refund.
I am raising this matter with Ealing Borough Councils Trading Standards Officer, the fraud/disputes department of my bank and IATA. Having researched Opodo this morning I have discovered numerous complaints about your customer service.

Resuming: A SCAM! Don't ever trust Opodo. I did one booking of two flights with them and they only confirmed the inbound flight. Spent hours chatting with their customer service which is terrible by the way, and they tried to make it my fault with some excuse my card was declined and then one of the flights was sold out. My first card was declined and then I booked again with a different card that was accepted! If it was accepted means their system accepted the purchase for those flights as those flights being available. If there was a fault it would be their system as it accepted the payment for a flight that allegedly didn't exist. This is of course a lie because it is two days later and the flight is still available to purchase on other websites! So I'm trying to get a full refund for both flights and they only want to refund me one of them. So in other words they want to refund half of my purchase that they accepted and confirmed (have an email as proof). Am I supposed to walk to Egypt and just use my outbound flight from there?! OPODO IS A SCAM. Stay away from them and eDreams. Find other options. I will open a credit card dispute through my bank.

I bought an airplane ticket and then notice a month later Opodo charge me 80 EUR for a Prime Membership I NEVER ASKED FOR and I NEVER REGISTERED FOR. They charged my credit card a second time with no prior notice, nor any kind of agreement from me (I didn't even signup to their site). On their membership site I cannot discard the credit card nor stop the membership nor ask for refund or anything. So I phoned them 45 minutes international call with 3 different agents none were able to discard my credit card or my membership. At the end Opodo is making it impossible to get back my money and who knows what they will do with my credit card I need to cancel it I think. I am now in contact with my lawyer. Opodo is pure scam, fraudster at its best, Avoid Opodo like plague.

Tip for consumers:
I though OPODO was regular company, they are just miserable MAFIA, avoid them like plague

They will sneakily force a "free trial" and then charge you a non refundable 88usd for their "premium" membership that gives you NO discounts from what you could get on any other site, not on the flight tickets or on the price for luggage. It is actually more expensive than any other site without any membership. DON'T DOWNLOAD IT'S A SCAM

I cancelled my flight ticket with a guranteed refund policy. They promised to refund within 3months, then 4 weeks and then ten days but never do it. It's been over 7 months now.

I strongly recommend staying away from this company!
Not only that they have stolen my money and given me no car, but their customer support is really the lowest I have ever seen!
I rented a car from them in Glasgo, when I got there the car rental place was quite a long way from the airport and they had no car for me because I arrived 1 day later. So yes that is my fault, but I have rented the car for 7 days and it was fully paid! I asked them to give me another car they did not want to, and I ask to at least give me a discount on renting another one, not even the smallest intention from the customer service people over the phone to try to help. Basically, they were looking foreword to just cash that money from me, as the rental company has already rented the car to someone else, so they make more money like this.
If you want a company that just looks for reasons to pull money out of your pocket and devalue you as a customer go ahead!
You may pick your cart in time, but I am sure they find other reasons to be as they are.
After that, I had a high standard customer service with renacar.com, who were very kind to help me find a car and even refunded me the price of a car that I have booked without reading that they do not rent cars with people that have penalty points on the license, Their customer support staff were very nice and respectful and ran the extra mile to find me a company that will rent me a car. I didn't mind paying double the price as I have got what I needed and I have been treated with respect!

Tip for consumers:
Do not ever use Opodo for anything!!!

Booked flights, next day received an email advising of a "security issue" with my card and the tickets cancelled. Aside from the panic of wondering if my card details had been stolen I also had to deal with finding a different flight with no money in the bank. Took days to be refunded and even then it was for the wrong (lesser) amount, citing differences in the exchange rate, which was actually in my favour.

Responding to Opodo that is the most non sequitur response possible. The money was taken from my account with no issue, there was no possible chance of there being any fraud on my account (except from Opodo) and even if there was, then why the difference in refund (of -5%) when it would have as told to me by customer service, due to "exchange rate differences" actually been +1%. Be honest, people aren't that stupid or uninformed. I bought the tickets, Oporto didn't have them to sell, made an excuse, kept a chunk of the money I gave them in fair faith and continue to blame their customers for their fraudulent business. Admit your actions, apologise and at least die with dignity.

I purchased a Ryanair ticket via Opodo but they use a virtual email address for the booking which Opodo and Ryanair don't tell you. When you come to check in online none of your own email details work with the booking reference. Even after getting the virtual email address from Opodo I could not check in online. The only option then was to pay an extra £55 at the airport for a Ryanair checkin. DO NOT BOOK RYANAIR TICKETS VIA OPODO!

I'm sick and tired of trying to get my refund for 3 years now - this is ridiculous. Please don't use them to save yourself a lot of time and energy. I'm considering taking them to court.

NEVER EVER buy from these scammer!

As they are an absolute bunch if stealer!

Below is the true history of what they did to me and see their response to my complaint

Hi
Before I bought the ticket from your website, I checked Ryanair it was 26.99 then I had a look at your site to see if there was any cheaper one which it showed 15.77 and said all taxes and service charges were included.
I proceeded to the very final page where I was asked to inter my card number and click purchase the ticket and the price still showed 15.77 and I clicked and purchased the ticket
Now the confirmation email was a DISASTER email to receive!
It said 26.99 charged by Ryanair why? Since I was quoted only 15.77 that included everything!
And more horrible than that, that my card was charged another 20 by opodo separately which I was never told about that, again why this?
I could buy the ticket from Ryanair website for only 26.99 but I was charged 47 in total and was never told about this at all?
Now I regard this as an absolute stealing and DO NOT want to hear anything except to have my money refunded as soonest possible

The service fees booking are non refundable. Opodo service fees are independent of the price of the products and non-refundable in any case, as they are charged for the service provided by Opodo for the search, comparison and assistance in the booking process.

I bought a ticket in September 6th 2022 to travel on 30th November 2022 for £1344.15.
Due to health challenges I decided not to travel and change the date.
£687.91 TO CHANGE THE DATE
£477.79 CANCELLATION FEES
On 24th November 2022 a week to my travel date, Opodo sent me an email of my refund £866.36 to be in my account shortly
£477.79 suddenly disappeared into thin air with no explanation
What a wow customer service.

DO NOT USE THE OPODO SITE TO BOOK.

THE OPODO SITE STATED ONE THING ON THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND ON THE OPODO SITE BUT CHARGE SOMETHING ELSE TO THE CARD.

THEN TAP PORTUGAL CHARGED ME AGAIN. A TOTAL DIFFERENCE OF 400 EURO

WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY STATED THERE IS NO MANAGER ON SITE AND THAT I NEED TO SEND THEM MY BANK STATEMENTS AS PROOF!

THEY STATED THAT 1 CHECK IN IS INCLUDED WHEN I RECIEVED THE CONFIRMATION 0 BAGS WERE INCLUDED THEY SAID I DIDN'T PAY FOR IT YET THEY CHARGED MY CARD.

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. NEVER EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE THIS. I WAS ASKING THE OPODO CUSTOMER CHAT LINE IF THIS IS SCAM SITE AS THAT IS WHAT IT FELT LIKE.

DO NOT USE! THE CHEAP FLIGHT IS A HOOK AND BAIT. I AM NOW SURE THIS IS THEIR BUSINESS MODEL AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE MASSIVE AMOUNT OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS.

I bought my ticket to Brazil well in advance. Tried to change a connection flight as I realized the time was tight to go from Sao paolo conconhas to sao paolo international and get my flight back to Europe, was asked 500 euros for a simple connection flight change which I refused to pay. By coincidence and this is quite strange some weeks thereafter I was informed by Alitalia that one of my connection flight the one I wanted to change was cancelled. I called opodo to find out what could be done, they told me they would get back to me within 1 day, waited nothing happened, called them again no updates, they told me to wait up to 72 hours, I called them again to find out that I had no other alternatives, without giving me any explanation to why my flight was cancelled. They told me to cancel my ticket and that I am entitled for a full refund. Ticket cost is over 1200 pounds. I asked him for an estimate of time to get my money back and he told me he might take up top 3 months which I find ridiculous. Don't waste your time and money avoid them.

Do not use total rip off tried to book flight and hotel clicked on book and price went up £40 then input details pressed book and price increased another £40 robbing con merchants!

I hired a car through their website only to find out that after I had made my payment there was a £1205 deposit to pay on a credit card when I don't have a credit card so I tried to cancel and they tried to charge me more than what I had paid for the hire this is a joke considering I'd only made the order an hour before

So after opodo looked at my review they decided to put the blame onto the hire company and to contact the hire company when this was the first thing I done the hire company informed me that any refunds would be down to the 3rd party opodo I highly advise anyone to stay well clear from this booking site the customer care is awful and lots of hidden charges plus after my review they are still emailing me trying to sell me products

We booked flights from Berlin to Salzburg, one way for 4 people. After searching numerous sites we found Opodo was the cheapest. We booked at at the last moment noticed their excessive booking and card fees however the total amount was about the same as others. It seems they just account for things differently but the outcome was the same. I went ahead and when i received the booking confirmation it was for return flights for 2 people and not one way for 4 people. I questioned them and they advised it was cheaper to do it that way and they would pass on the savings to us and they would cancel the return flights automatically. All very good however when i checked and requoted the return flights, same dates i found it was in fact almost AU$200 cheaper for the 4 of us, so you guessed it, they kept the extra money and did not pass on the discount. So not only are they liars but unethical too. So my warning is IF you are planning a one way section get a comparison quote for the return flights and compare, sometimes it's cheaper to book return, Opodo obviously knows this and loves the extra profits!

WORST AIRLINE AGENCY EVER!
I raised a refund request with Opodo on 19-11-20 for my tickets with Qatar Airways. It has been more than 8 months now and I am yet to get my refund. I have been calling the support team ever since. All I hear from them is that my case has been escalated and that Opodo has not got any response from Qatar. Qatar airways on the other has confirmed that they haven't got any request from Opodo.
Opodo is a SHAM.
GO FOR OPODO FOR CHEAP SERVICE... NEVER FOR CHEAP FLIGHTS.

Opodo mis-sold me a Business Class and promised me a cashback of £236 after I confronted them. The compensation was never sent back to me and the representative handling my complaint was extremely rude. I even escalated the case to OPODO's CEO, but nothing from him.

I was sold a ticket by OPODO which didn't exist. I went all the way to the airport only to find from the airlines that OPODO never booked my ticket with the airlines.

Terrible customer service and terrible connection. I was routed to a guy in india and the connection kept falling out.

I booked a flight and Hotel but booked the wrong week]
I rang them 10mins later and they said the Hotel was non refundable even though it said free cancelations (see pic) and they flights would have to be cancelled and rebooked which cost me £900
Most unhelpful and worst compnay i have ever dealt with

Been waiting on line to be transferred to the change department after my flight was cancelled with virgin. Three hours been waiting to be connected but so busy they are that they have no time to be contacted to their customers.
