I've used this site several times now to order my contacts. I recently moved and realized after I placed my order that I had it sent to my old address which was already in my profile. My confirmation email contained a link to easily change the shipping address. I did this a couple days after placing my order and my contacts came to my correct address with no delay. I also get the best price on my contacts with them. Always a smooth transaction and I will use them for future orders.
The price of my contacts was discounted; which means I saved money. The ease of exploring and selecting my contact prescription couldn't have been easier. The shipment of contacts was quick with good quality secure packaging. I received my contacts in less than a week!
Hidden fees that they don't tell you about! Yeah their prices are good if you don't find out about the hidden fees until the go to check out almost 6 dollars a box it would be nice if they just put it up front just add it to the price, There prices will still be cheaper than other companies don't throw it in there at the very end that sucks and then when you call customer service they stand there and tell you that it is there in your cart no it's not in my cart I looked and looked the guy both these lies to you!... Hate to be lied to
Pricing on the contacts seems like a great / low price... but when you go to checkout, they make up the difference in processing fees. They charged me MORE for processing fees than the contracts themselves! Contacts were $290 and they were charging $319 for processing fees.
The Free Glasses deal has fine print that make it not such a deal.
Normal processing fee: $2.00 with promo processing fee: $9.95
Normal shipping USPS: $6.00 with promo shipping USPS: $8.95
USPS charges the same... why are they marking it up! Why is processing more?
You think it is a good deal... it is bait and switch... very unethical!
The contacts that I bought at Opticontacts were at an amazing price. The retailer where I had my exam was going to charge $1100 to $1200. I got my year's worth of lenses at Opticontacts for less than $700--and even less than that with the $150 rebate. Amazing service, easy to use, excellent prices. I'm sold! The retailer couldn't come close to matching. Not even close.
Ordered on January 20th and money drawn from.my account right away. Received a notice that order was shipped on 23rd. So far from true. Only a label was created which means nothing. Pre shipment status when tracked through USPS. Nothing has been shipped and all customer service does is keep telling you it shipped when it hasn't! Another recent order i paced on an in stock item (no issues with prescription either) took 2 weeks, pretty poor when your site says shipped same day. Their customer service just DOES not give a care. I would give 0 stars if I could. 3rd order in a row with issues, I will NEVER order from them again and neither should you!
I ordered my contacts from here twice. The first time I had an issue with shipping but it was nobodys fault, the contact manufacturer simply did not have my eye strength in stock at the moment so I waited an extra like 4 days, but the entire time customer support was informing me of what was happening. The 2nd time is recently, and I ordered them yesterday and they already shipped! By FAR THE CHEAPEST for me! Also, the first time my prescription was messed up, but they reached out to me to fix it and verify it before shipping! 10/10 Best contact site EVER (There is a review that says it was not the cheapest for their contacts... so go to another website how is that opticontacts fault lol)
I had ordered my contacts from another suplier only to find out they never had what I needed in stock. Ot only did Opticontacts have what I needed in stock, but I got it in less time then they told me. This will be my go to from now on. Thanks OC.
I agree with the other reviewers that Opticontacts plays games with fees by increasing them if you find a lower price per box. Also, they say they guarantee to match a lower total price but when I found a lower price from a major competitor they said they wouldn't honor it!
I went to google to search for Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism contacts. They were one of the websites suggested under Google Shopping's price listings. A box was marked at $13.99! Ridiculously low but the promotion was running! Too good to be true? HELL YEAH IT WAS! Free shipping on orders over $99? Another lie. I place an order for 10 boxes in total, 5 per eye. At check out I see the following: Subtotal: $489.90 "Insurance and processing" $146.20; Shipping $0.00; Tax $7.47; Online Promo Discount -$350.00; Total $293.57. The true total of cost per box comes to be $29.357. DOUBLE THE PROMOTIONAL PRICE. What is "Insurance and processing"? You would think it's related to eye insurance but no. It "Includes shipping insurance, processing and handeling fee." I'm sorry, but would that not be a price you include initially in your product fee? DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. NOT TO BE TRUSTED!
I got 2 of the same exact contacts without the coupon the fee was $15.60 with the coupon $56.76. How does the insurance, processing fee, and taxes go up on the same exact item? The rep write me the reason why it went up is because of product storage costs, packaging costs (including the shipping materials) and other overheads such as the time cost associated with prepping and packing the products. It's the exact same product at the exact same time. Only difference is the coupon being added on. Also, with the price being lower the taxes would be lower.
Found a deal for 2 boxes of accuvue oasys with hydraluxe for $70. I go to checkout and when I get ready to check-out, they tack on a $71 "insurance and processing" fee making the total bill now $141. Avoid wasting your time and money here.
I decided to try out a new company and have been nothing but dissapointed. I placed my order on Dec 6th was told my contacts were not in stock so i waited a few days. Received an email that the order was shipped on Dec. 9th. The tracking states they will not arrive until Dec. 20th. Just poor service and will not use again.
Misleading! Watch for "processing charges" of $50 or more! Best price per box until they show you the $53 "Processing charge." Uh nope!
I orders contacts for both my husband and I - after almost 2 weeks I called to see why they still hadn't shipped. A FREE pair of sunglasses that was added to the order was NO LONGER available - so my order of the $200 worth of contacts was on hold... forever I guess... until I called in to find out where my order was. I cancelled it all! Seriously - no customer service call at all... just on hold... when I said why wasn't I contacted... answer was... the order just goes on hold when things are out of stock... now the waiting begins for my refund!
Was quoted a Thursday arrival and when I checked back today the arrival time changed to Monday. Very slow delivery speeds will not order from again in the future! Poor Customer service, Poor quality
Good price. I have been wearing Acuvue two contacts for well over 20 years and him please to order these contacts from Opti contacts. I have ordered from them a number of times now and have always received what I ordered.
Had a very easy time filling out the order, faxing the prescription, and navigating their website. Contacts were delivered quickly. Recommend them to anyone.
