I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.

They say fast shipping, however they use DHL and that is a huge mistake! It's taken over a week and it hasn't been transferred to usps yet. Great prices, just make sure you don't need anything you order right away. Expect 2 weeks for delivery, even if your the next state over.

Ordered 4 items, they billed my card in-full then only sent two of the items. Ordered items as it said nothing about being on back order. Noticing the two items ship date kept changing. Then eventually they just said "ordered" I called to see what's up. They said one item was still on back order and that it was holding up the other from shipping. My rifle is still sitting undone for five weeks waiting on a grip because of a $3.00 barrel cap. Called back another week later and they said I needed to pay the rest of the balance. I said no my hole card was billed and that the first cust/rep said nothing about more payment. They finally said that they would gift the grip to me as an apology for the inconvenience. Still waiting five more days now. It's apparently that they lied to get me off the phone. Looks like I'm not getting the rest of my order. They done me dirty!
I ordered two magazines for my gun. I received one in Mid January. My credit card bill came in mid February. I had to leave town and called when I got back to notify them that I had been billed for two magazines (the packing slip showed only 1 shipped). Even with their own evidence, they refused to refund me for the one magazine that wasn't received and disregarded their own packing slip evidence because it was older than 30 days. Very unethical and shady company. Never buy anything from these guys. Clearly don't care about return business.
I guess I may have just been one of the lucky ones. Because I purchased ammo, received it in the time stated, and am happy with it. I didn't read any of the reviews before my purchase, so I will admit that I naturally feel a little reluctant to place a second order lol. But I can at least say that they're a legit site, with authentic products; they may just have some kinks to work out from what I'm reading.
Order number ******* was placed the second week of January. The experience ted ship date continues to get pushed back.This is not the first time this has happened but will likely be my last.

This is a classic example of me forgetting to check the reviews of a website before placing an order. This company even lies on their webpage by stating it's "free shipping and free returns". The "free returns"… Are for store credit only, you don't get your money back otherwise you have to pay for the return. That in and of itself should be illegal. I placed my last order today and will never shop at optics planet again. The item I purchased although was supposed to fit my rifle stock, no mention of dimensions on the webpage so you would assume it's made specifically for your model, right? Not true and yet I still have to pay for my return.

After seeing all the horrible reviews here I feel stupid even buying from them in the first place. Yes customer service is horrible. No they dont stand behind any of their products. Refused to return my item which was defective to the point the bow almost shot my kid in the face. They didn't care. Only returns are unopened items and then its still a fight. Spend your money somewhere else with online stores that appreciate your business.
My fault, I should have looked at their reviews first. Spoke with their supervisor (Russ) about a Holusun (over $400) that was delivered without customer signas I requested. Rude, indifference, an told me he didn't want to hear about my situation.

I made the mistake of ordering some $100+ sneakers off this site because they were less expensive than anywhere else I could find. Nothing on the site indicated that they were not in stock or on back order so I was expecting them within a few weeks. I'd wait a month then check the status and the delivery date kept being pushed out with no explanation to me or assurance that they were ever going to come. I contacted them and only then was told that the shoes I ordered were out of stock and that they would cancel my order. Meanwhile, I'm getting bombarded with spam emails trying to get me to buy other items from them. I had to send another email requesting to have my email removed from their mailing list. Worst Customer Service ever and 'fake' low prices on items that they don't even have in stock.
I ordered a 20$ screwdriver set it said free shipping 15 mins later I got an email saying price changed to 39$ added 15$ shipping I tryed to cancel right away and they emailed back a day later saying sorry already shipped I tryed to write a review and they declined so here we are don't do it total pile of $#*!!
They have a great selection of products at competitive pricing with frequent coupon codes but the slowest shipping in the industry. Made two separate purchases on the same day; one with free shipping and the other with paid, expedited shipping. Free shipping took 12 days (7-10 advertised) to receive while the paid, expedited shipping (3-5 days advertised) took 9 days. If you're in no hurry to receive your order it's a good company with nice inventory. If you need the products in a reasonable amount of time, you may want to look elsewhere. E-mails normally go unanswered after purchase.

My husband has ordered from this company a few times, but we will NOT be buying from them ever again and would NOT recommend for others to either. The first time the item was missing screws, but they did make it right and mailed them to him. The most recent time, they sent him the wrong item. He returned it back and asked for a refund. He had to call several times to get them to initiate the refund AFTER submitting the request online several weeks beforehand. They ended up ONLY refunded for the item and refused to refund the $15+ they charged in shipping. I would understand if it was a return was under different circumstances, but they mislabeled the item on their site and sent him the wrong item! The shipping should have been reimbursed as well. We will NOT be purchasing from this company again and would recommend for other to avoid the headache from this company.
I ordered ammo on Saturday Feb 3rd. Ordered was cancelled on Feb 8th falsely stating ordered was placed on Feb 6th. When the ordered was placed it was legal for them to ship ammo to me.

$100 for ammo shipping. I've ordered from them before and I was never charged this amount for shipping other brands using Optics Planet. However, for an unexplained reason, certain brands result in higher shipping cost. I tried to reach their customer service for an explanation but never got a response. Overall I paid $134 for 20 rounds of 300blk, most of which was shipping cost. I was under the impression I was buying three boxes of the ammo, but only one was I stock. I didn't cancel the order because I thought I was getting three boxes. Shipping prices and customer service suck!

This company is a joke. I order something from them and 16 days later it still hasn't shipped. They keep blaming FedEx when clearly it is an issue on their end. Unless you want to waste your time and money trying to get your order or a refund, I would find another site to order from. They keep saying they will check and call back - they never call back.

I should have read the reviews before dealing with these fools. I placed two separate orders, both were in stock at the time of ordering. A month later, no delivery. I cancelled both orders. It seems the customer service do not know the company processes and have no idea what they are doing. One of the items was a $4299 thermal scope. After three weeks of a runaround and reading the other reviews, I'm done with Optics Planet. It's amazing they are in business. A complete scam. Don't waste your time like I did. The rating needs to be zero stars.

I have ordered a few times and it is hit or miss. Sometimes they ship in a couple days sometimes they don't ship at all. My current order has been in processing status for 12 days and still hasn't shipped. The risk management team held it up with zero explanation and then once approved it is now been stuck in the warehouse for 4 days. 3 calls to customer service and an email through the site was zero help and not willing to make things right. Unless you are willing to gamble on it taking a week or a couple months to get your items, I would steer clear of Optics Planet.

I went through this last time and forgot. The product was clearly not in stock. Label created, but didn't ship for another FIVE DAYS. Then was sent via DHL, it's now been another 10 days and still no product. Good luck getting any kind of information from customer service. I will not buy anything from Optics Planet again.

This company borders on fraud by constantly changing the expected shipping dates for backordered products after they are ordered, but far worse is the way their managers act like spoiled children throwing a tantrum when questioned about something that doesn't make sense.
A manager actually cancelled my entire order before it was shipped because I voiced my displeasure at their refusal to ship a legally unrestricted item because of an arbitrary policy that they only want "qualified persons" to own. They're happy to sell it on their site, but they will only ship it if you represent the government. Despite me being calm and professional, out of pettiness for my disagreement about this policy, a manager cancelled the other items in my order out of spite. No one should patron such an unprofessional company!
Feel sorry for customer service personnel who must field questions from customers. Three items stated on 'website' as being 'in stock' however, when contacted O/Planet stated that the items were 'to be expected in 7-10 days plus additional 'few days' for packaging/shipping. Based on available info the three week old order will take an additional two-three weeks to arrive. Will NEVER order from this place ( will not honor it as a 'company') again..
Order something and pay an extra $50 for 1 day shipping yet they can't put it in a box until a week has passed. Break their own company policy by charging you before your order ships and who knows how long until that's back. Stay far far away if you want something in a timely manner.
