I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.
Optics Planet in short, Lacks accountability for their mess ups. Empty promises are all you will receive from them about when products should ship but don't. They are quick to pull funds from your bank account but do little to get the product to your hand. I even went as far as to get expedited shipping with my order to ensure it was here with plenty of time to spare before my trip out west, only for it to sit in processing for entirely too long. Much longer than they're advertised 1-2 days. When you call customer service you get nothing but excuses. I ultimately cut them out and went straight to the source of the product I was wanting (American Defense MFG) and was greeted with fast, friendly customer service. I will have my product in time now thanks to them and their great company. In short Optics Planet is the worst, take your business and hard earned money elsewhere.

They lie about which products are in stock, they rarely deliver and if they do it takes MONTHS. I ordered a barrel, a grip screw washer, a 10rd magazine, a box of ammo, and a QD loop back in Feb 2023. The barrel was "in stock" until I ordered it, then it said it was back ordered till September 2023, so I cancelled it. They sent me an email in July 2023 saying that grip screw washers are illegal in Washington state, they are not. I'm assuming they're just so incompetent that they just decided not send it. I got the box of ammo and the QD loop after about a month. The magazine? Same story as the barrel, it was "in stock" until I ordered it, then it was backordered for a "unknown" period of time, still haven't gotten it 6 months later. This company is an absolute joke and it's not even funny. Worst business practices I have ever seen in my life from any company, ever. Do not spend money here, you won't get your order anyway. I'd rate 0 stars if I could.
I bought a rock climbing cam $25 cheaper than competitors, and they had a coupon code available. I added a couple carabiners too. Received my products and a timely matter. And received plenty of email confirmations of updates. No problems here.

They sell a lot of products from all sorts of activities and hobbies. They seem more like a business/company than shop that intimately knows each product and how it's used. Whatever the case, they had some good deals.

Worst online shopping experience of my life, was told the item would be in stock on a certain date, two months later after the 20th time saying it would be shipped, had to cancel and get the same item but different reach, that was in stock shipped two days later go the the border, optics planet notify customs and was retuned back to them, getting refund, not the hole amount which I paid!
Pull your head in customer service because its a $#*! show!

Ordered ammo in November of 2020 still waiting on 22rl. They said they will not have in stock until March of 2023. This is insane. No offer to substitute or ever to update my order on line. I think they hope I will give up and cancel

Be careful Opticsplanet. They utilize new IT software technology to provide different price to different customers. Double check by using different browsers from different IP address prior to placing order. You might find some items have different price.
This is not a legitimate company. I ordered a couple of items 10 days ago that were supposedly in stock and were stated to ship within 3-5 days. This morning I get an email notification that one of the items won't ship for 2 months. No mention of the other item at all. No one answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message. The cancellation process is beyond difficult, if you are able to do it at all. There is absolutely no reason for customer service as hideous as this. BUYER BEWARE!
They delayed several my orders now for over a year and a half claiming lack of product. They now have almost identical items on n stock. They increased the prices of the items I ordered and won't offer anything as a legitimate substitution.

These people are sleezy. The item sent is not as described. Does not fit at all. Then they take forever to start the return process. Still have not received the money yet. They also will not pay back the full amount. Trying to keep ten dollars for shipping. I would not have asked for the piece of garbage to be shipped in the first place if the description was correct. Do business elsewhere. Once again, these people are sleezy and they're slime.
75 Days have passed since placing my order. 1 item is in stock, but the other is still backordered, so the entire order is "pending." If you're willing to wait 3 months+ for your order, then OpticsPlanet.com may work for you, but for everyone else, just avoid the frustration.
Ordered a red dot June 12 2022. June 14 got a email the order was shipped. There has been no movement on the tracking #. Call them and they told me i had to wait 15 business days to file a claim. I explained if there was any movement on the tracking # I would accept that however, there is no movement which leads me to believe that they shipped the order in there system but didn't actually physically ship the item. I will be calling them back July 6 to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere.
I should of known better. Optics Planet is the worst at shipping out orders. Never again will I order from them. I might get a tattoo to remind me. For reference, I ordered a part from Australia the same day as a part from OP. I got the International package today and the one from Optics Planet hasn't even left Illinois yet! OP you suck!

Won't reply to emails and then tell you that you cannot return an item because it's past the date. The gap in time was due to dealing with extreme illness. Item was not used and still in packaging.

Site advertised 1-2 days shipment and free returns. This is the by far the farthest from the truth. Ordered scope rings and they were the wrong ones(my fault) but realized this after several weeks of still not having them in hand. Ordered the correct ones knowing the delays of this business. Once I received to incorrect rings I tried to start the return process, this was a joke. I was told that the items was not eligible for return. It wasn't until I stated I would just deal with Vortex as they would solve this issue that I got somewhere, but only a reissued exchange not refund.
The correct rings that I placed on a second order have yet to ship after 19 days, phone calls and reassured 2 day shipping. Can't wait to see how long return and reissue take.
Oh and they love to push out as many emails as they can but can't fill orders
I Placed an order on Dec. 29 2020 for 3 items. As of Jan 9 it still has not shipped and now I
Find out they were holding my order for one item that would not be in stock till Apr 4 2021. So
I canceled that item so they would send the other items. That was Jan 5 2021 they took the money out of my account Jan 6 2021. Have been trying to call and cancel order on line they will not answer either way.
Now I find if you want a full refund instead of exchange or store credit they suck $7.99 out of you.

Last year ordered bullets for reloading, constant shipping delays and then they cancelled the order. Ordered same item on April 2nd hoping for a better outcome but just notified this morning in an email that another delay, (delay #3)... shipping will be in 3-5 months. Went on today and this time I cancelled the order, no point in waiting for the 5 months and having them cancel it again. Actually we were able to find the item from a different website.
I ordered an expensive pair of binoculars from OP. They were sold at a substantial discount, and arrived quickly.
Although the binoculars I'd ordered were very good, after trying them, I decided I preferred another brand which OP didn't carry. I contacted OP, and quickly received a return authorization and a prefilled UPS address label. The return was successful, and OP issued a complete refund, 5 days sooner than I expected. (They had 10 business days to issue the refund, but did it within 5).
I can't think of any way this transaction could have been more perfect, or demonstrated more integrity. Will I buy from them again? In a heartbeat!

I placed an order 5 days ago and it still has not shipped. In that time I received two orders placed with Natchez on different dates, after ordering from Optics Planet. As of right now it still has not shipped. This was in stock items. Really bad shipping. If you order beware you will have no idea when you will get what you ordered. Look elsewhere.

Ordered a non regulated item; a recoil spring. The item was placed on hold for no reason and I was given the most general description of why and what was going on. They essentially just told me that it's on hold and to look at their FAQs. First time shopping there and I'm never shopping there ever again.

Thanks but no thanks for future orders. No pkg, internal protection damaged most boxes.
Moat all corners on boxes broken off. 3 of the 10 boxes are broken or cracked.
Additionally, for three days I tried to confirm the order shipment update. Your email indicated the order in transit but your website indicated I had nothing on order.

I placed an order for boots and anticipated it would be shipped and delivered between 5-10 business days. I contacted customer service when the item had not shipped and was told they would expedite the shipping. Five days later the item shows was shipped but the USPS does not have the package. CS at OpticsPlanet said it takes the USPS to enter a package in their tracking system five days after receiving it. The USPS is not the most reliable shipping service but five days to record receiving a package is unbelievable. When I try to contact OpticsPlanet, they don't answer me via chat. Totally dishonest company. Wil never buy from them again.

Paid for an expensive thermal scope and it never arrived. They made me wait an entire month before I could file a lost item form. I called numerous times and they just never seemed to care. I called one day and the lady told me that i had to wait another day before I could file the form and she promised me she would call me in the morning. She never called. I then called back and I got the same gal. She didn't give a crap! I finally was able to get a refund and that customer service rep never apologized or anything. They dont care! I will never deal with them again and I would highly suggest you don't either..

Don't use these people, they are not hunters or outdoors people. Waited for ammo two weeks, never sent forms for something regarding shipping. I'd I was going ship ammo out of country would I admit it. Asked repeatedly for email they never sent.
I placed a credit card order for a flashlight, a rechargeable usb strong headlamp, and two weaker rechargeable headlamps with longer battery life for hiking. When I checked my order for shipping I had an email trying to do deposit verifications, or switch to paypal. I cancelled and ordered from a competitor, do not waste your time. Discovered they have terrible reviews in the process.
