I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.
I bought a sig sauer site from them 2 years ago and this morning. Someone from optics planet tried to use my debit card without my knowledge or permission. Be careful ordering from them as I did not expect that from them.
Made and order of an item, shipment said between 8 and 18 days, did not said out of stock! My order total has change 3 times and the shipment delivery changes every day! Not to sure about how serious is this Company!
I had to open a case with PayPal. OpticsPlanet still will not answer the telephone or e-mail. Ten days and they still send out canned e-mails that say the items are in stock and they are working to ship them. I could have walked from Georgia and picked them up in leass time than these fools are filling the order. Again I say avoid, avoid, avoid. I am so glad I used PayPal. They make it easy to get your money back.
It has been a week, and my order still has not shipped. They keep sending excuse e-mails but have not filled the order. When I try to call them, I am on hold for ever only to get a recording that they are not answering the telephone at all. This place is a joke. Stay away from them! I now will have to go through PayPal to have my card credited back. They may advertise low prices, but their customer service stinks. They also want to balme their poor performance on too many orders, Corona virus, Post Office, ETC. The problem seems to be their poor performance period.

I order a lot of gun stuff, and I've ordered a lot from optics planet. Optics planet, is somewhere between incompetent and $#*!ed. They are clueless. And when you call them on the phone, after being on hold for an hour, you get some nincompoop, who doesn't know which way is up. Douglas

Here's the common thread... they advertise something as being in stock, you buy it, they immediately charge your card, and then when it doesn't ship in a reasonable amount of time, you call them and they tell you: "Your order is being processed," or "It's been sent to the shipping department," or "Shipping is slow due to (Biden, Covid, whatever!)," while the truth is it was never in stock and they're lying to you... it's a scam! If/when they receive a new shipment and you haven't given up by then, they'll ship it to you. If you did give up and cancel your order, they'll hang on to your money for as long as they can.
If you read all the reviews, you will understand exactly what they're doing. If you do business with them, you're just asking to get screwed. If you do business with them twice... you're a masochist.
The operating philosophy of OpticsPlanet is "They're born faster than we can piss 'em off!" Caveat emptor!

Been waiting and waiting for a product that they said would ship in a week and it's been a month still nothing tried contacting them and their typical response "we're working as hard as we can and shipping your item" me; don't sell it if you don't have it!
They refuse to ship anything to Canada, it'll let you waste a bunch of time going through entering your payment and shipment information, and then just let you know right at the end that they don't ship to Canada. They also blame this on the manufacture no matter what you try to purchase. This company is a joke.

I purchased a jacket that was not in-stock but was quoted to ship in 7-14 days. It took them over a month and a half. The item was readily available from other sources. I had a gift card, so I gave it a shot. Never again.

Initially my order was cancelled without notice, and an item wasn't actually in stock that I had ordered when it said it was on their website. Called to figure out what the issue was and it was flagged due to having different billing and mailing addresses. The manager Kyle dropped the price of my order as much as they could and added a different version off the back ordered item to fill the gap until the other item came back in stock. Was a slightly bothersome process, but they still did the right thing and compensated me for the mistake and my troubles.
After almost a year of waiting for an item to be in stock, my order was canceled. Apparently, the price went up and they didn't want to honor my order. They ignored my email inquiries. I will never order from them again.

I've order product, a month later after several calls they tell me its on back order and don't know when they will get it in. I would cancel my order except I paid for it on a visa gift card I threw away.
I had to contact customer service 3 times on the phone and twice via email and my stuff was still sent to the wrong address. They also split my order because they didn't have one part in stock. I paid with pay pal. Then when they got my part in stock they refused to send it unless I got back on pay pal and pay a second shipping fee. When I didn't they just cancelled my order. I will never buy from this site again.

Literally don't waste your time giving optics planet your money. They know the usps distribution centers they use are the worst on the planet and they do not care. They just want your money. Been waiting a month for something I could of got the next day on Amazon
I ordered 2 boxs of winchester 7mm mag thought how cool to find them on Optics planet thier website clearly days in stock. So I ordered 2 box box went online next day to find out when ammunition will ship. When I saw the shipping date was 02-09-2023 I about lost it bunch of lying S. O. B well I hope some one at Optics planet reads this review as I purchased the ammunition on 06-06-2022 must be a democratic owned company allways deceiving the public.

So ordered a pair of vortex vulture hd 15x56 binos. Purchased them for a great price with tripod adapter, harness, and bag. On top of that they gave me a $75 gift certificate. What really impressed me was when i called to see if i could change my shipping to be expedited they said i called just in time, and they would apply the expedite shipping for no extra cost. Amazing customer service.
I have placed several orders with opticsplanet.com and spent several thousands of dollars on items such as state of the art optics, lazers, microscopes, camping gear and shooting supplies. I have never been disappointed with this company and give them a 5 star rating.
I placed an order with optics planet on 09/09/22, I received one of two orders from them on the 15th, my objective cover on the 17th says my ocular arrives but it doesn't. I loved their website and was wanting to buy an IR scope, being a third party for Amazon you hope it's legit. When I reached out to them via email they insisted that they were right and they sent both of my lens covers. Here it is 13 days later they refuse to replace my order. I contacted them on the 17th when they said it was delivered, the 21st one day after latest due date, and today the 22nd, all responses were it was delivered. Now I'm forced to buy my ocular lense cover from Hawke directly so as far as I'm concerned they are a scam or at best a crappy, piss poor business, they don't deserve the star I was forced to push. I do have copies of my email and receipt from Hawke for my ocular, bought today. Sucks this experience keeps you from shopping the small businesses.

I live in Tennessee they shipped my package to a suburb of Atlanta and now they're telling me I've got to wait another 27 days before they'll do anything use credit cards only because you can dispute it and your credit card company will protect you do not use any other form of payment with this company credit cards only
Never had an issue with ordering from Optics Planet. However, I do recall the shipping times being a little slow. But that's not my issue. I placed an order recently from them- I ordered a Surefire Warcomp on a friday. Monday I get an email saying that my order was canceled because the Warcomp was a government restricted item (for sale only to military/police). It's not. I know in some states owning a flash hider is "illegal," but I do not live in one of those states. I went to Bravo Company and ordered it, had it delivered in the same week. Optics Planet is garbage. They'll never get my business again, I don't care if I have to pay more.

I am writing this review, because the poor customer service and product description. I purchased a recoil spring kit for a Glock 19 thought I was getting new packaging and a new spring kit, beware of product description as they hide behind, it came in with some substance looks like someone sneezed on it and had Covid or something I could not identify what it was nasty. Terrible customer service was no help. I contacted customer service twice before writing this review buyer beware they at least could have cleaned up the product and the packaging before they sent it. As I could tell, there was no concern about the products they ship out and no quality control. I gave them a chance to make it right.

I placed an order that I needed in 5 days. I paid $40 for the express shipping and 4 days later my order was still "processing". I canceled my order and 10 days later, I am still waiting for a refund. Terrible customer service. This automated phone system never leads to a real person. Frustrated beyond belief.
I ordered a product from them and while checking out I check the standard shipping that's 3-5 business days. After it shipped it said it wouldn't be arriving for 2 weeks. So I called their customer service number and they said that's just how it is and there wasn't anything they could do. They wouldn't refund any of the shipping charges. They are a joke of a company and will never be using them again
Found their listing in Ammoseek. Bought several boxes of shells they had "in stock". Paid for the shells, received a notice a day or so later stating that my shells were back ordered for 2-4 MONTHS. The notice went further to say that they predicted that I wouldn't see my purchase until mid-February of 2021.
This is a scam, a sketchy and shady business that anyone should avoid at ALL costs. ALL. COSTS.
