I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.
So I go to order an attachment for a suppressor I have and the product is listed as in stock, I even pay a little extra to get it in time for a boys trip. Sure enough a few days goes by and I check on it and it says "expected to ship in 35 days", that's a joke right?
NOPE! Company likes to list items are in stock and ready to ship…that is until you pay for it. Then you'll get emails saying "once our supplier gets them, then we will get them, then we will send it out".
Soooo why do I need you? I'll just buy directly from the supplier and sure enough, I found out the supplier, bought it from them and already got a tracking number in my email within 24 hours.

Optics Planet has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. Their shipping program is horrible! I will never purchase from them again. Orders are not received as promised. They make excuses saying they cannot guarantee the shippers they use to deliver on time. Items do not even their warehouse for a week to ten days that are in stock. They charged me $31 for expedited delivery service (guaranteed 3 Days) then sent it USPS. It has been 6 days and the package is still being sent back and forth between the same USPS locations multiple times. $31 shipping for a $37 item that I needed quickly and they take no blame! I purchased an item from a competitor that was approximately the same size and weight that was delivered in 2 days by FedEx for $17. When I contacted them regarding my shipment I got an automated response making excuses for their lack of service and was told they would not refund my 3 Day Expedited delivery fees even though it has been 6 days and there is no delivery in sight! I suggest everyone to shop elsewhere!

Last July 3rd I purchased a pair of binoculars at opticsplanet.com
I chose this retailer because years ago I (uneventfully) bought another pair there, and the price was average.
One month later, the parcel is lost somewhere "in transit" in the USPS network. No further information about parcel location or estimated date of arrival.
The last "in transit" carrier update was on july 20, and according to Optics Planet policy, I'll have to wait 20 more business days from that july 20, for them to start looking at the issue. That will be around mid august.
Their customer support is good for nothing. Once the parcel is dispatched, contacting them is, besides very difficult, totally useless because they know nothing.
I've found (too late), that there are many people with similar complaints and they are rating this retailer very low.
To summarize:
You buy an item that might or might not arrive after many weeks waiting.
You can't cancel the order and get your money back because it is in transit.
It's not wise to buy again this item elsewhere, because you might end up with two units, if the first one eventually arrives.
They retain your money, waste your time, and if you were planning to use this product, say on a trip, forget about it.
This place... requires more patience than I have. My boyfriend ordered from here and said he received his order about a month or two later. I ordered at the end of November, received an email saying man items were being packed to ship on Dec 2nd and that I'd receive an email with tracking info shortly. As of Dec 18th that still hadn't been received. I called customer service (multiple times as it has a holding sound and hangs up after a certain amount of time) finally after about 1.5 hrs or so I did get the ring and was able to talk to someone. They offered to escalate the issue but as this was a Christmas gift I didn't have time to wait and it wouldn't have been received in time. The refund was quick (about 24-48 hrs) and customer service was friendly. If you order from here, just make sure you have time to wait. Sounds like most items aren't in stock and they are instead more of a "middle man."
While they have good products, their shipping and service sucks. Ordered on Monday and finally shipped on Friday with free 7-10 day shipping. Going to be about 2 week before I get my order.

I needed this piece of equipment last week thus expedited shipping. Ordered 7-7-23 After a week DHL had not processed the package as of 7-14-23. Then the following Monday morning 7-17-23 I got a call from Optic Planet saying it was handed off to the postal service for delivery.Now on Tuesday evening 7-18-23 they have NO idea where the part is and don't even have an estimate when it might arrive. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. THEY ARE SO SCREWED UP WITH SHIPPING. Optic Planet says because they handed it off to the P.O. They can not refund expedited shipping. Tracking shows they have NOT handed it off. I would order it from a different sight but the part was to expensive.

Ordered a stream light TLR-1 HL have had my money taken and the order sent only to be told that it can't be delivered to my PO Box on the day it was scheduled to deliver. Why not tell me this DURING THE ORDERING PROCESS!? Why even give the option to put PO Box? I don't know because I have YET to get a hold of any that can help me at Optics Planet. I've had my calls dropped TWICE after 30 of being on hold. I will NEVER buy anything from this website ever again.

I really doubt I will EVER order anything from OpticsPlanet again! OpticsPlanet has a total lack of control over its suppliers! I have seen this same ammo come into your competitor's site on 3 different occasions over several months (Midsouth Shooters), yet OpticsPlanet has continually bumped my order back and forth like a tennis ball countless times - will be a year in March. Ever hear of a commitment! And NO - DO NOT CANCEL THIS ORDER. Looking forward to seeing how many more times this small order gets bumped. Regardless of the present circumstances, just as I demand a commitment from OpticsPlanet as a Customer - so should OpticsPlanet through your suppliers - you are their customer! Tired of the excuses - get it DONE! Maybe you should try and hire the supplier manager at Midsouth Shooters - by the looks of your ratings you need a better one!

Ordered a Timney Trigger that was needed quickly. I paid for 'Next Day Delivery'. I figured that I hadn't met the cutoff time for the next day when I didn't get a tracking number. The following day the same thing so I called in the evening. I was told they were filling the order and it would be shipped next day 'when it was ready to ship'. Huh? They could take weeks and then ship next day. They tried to give me a hard time about cancelling. I contacted my credit card company and had the charge reversed for fraud. They had it at Mid-Way and delivered it overnight for about $10 more than Optics Planet. MDWay is my go-to because of their overnight shipping. This happened 2 years ago but Sitejabber jogged my memory when they emailed me about another review. Be advised that DVOR is Optics Planet. Same scenario and experiences with them in the past. Do yourself a FVAOR... STAY AWAY. AVOID. RUN!

I purchased an Item on June 27th as of July 9th still no item. The item was an in stock item but not even a tracking lable created yet sent them an e mail on July 7th they said they were slow because of a large amount of online orders won, t even let me cancel order it says it is packaged and ready for shipment since June 29th this is one crooked company and i will never use again.
This company doesn't communicate with their customer at all. They'll show items as "in stock" status while you're shopping and entering your credit card info, but as soon as you place the order, you'll quickly find that they don't actually have ANYTHING available. Every one of the 6 items that I ordered was listed as being in stock, and now, a month later, the status for all 6 in reference to my order is "item ordered". Their 5-10 day shipping has turned into well over a month. A month later I finally received an email with a timeframe for some of my items, which shows 4-6 weeks before I will receive them, which will put us at 2.5 months since I paid for the stuff. I also found that they doubled every single thing on my order after sending me a shipping estimate, which I never did or authorized.
They default you to sending a message when you want to contact them. You'll do so and they won't respond. I anticipate an uphill battle with addressing every part of this mess. Who knows if or when I'll receive my stuff, at this point. And thank god i used a card for the purchase and can dispute the additional charges with my bank, cuz there's no way this company would address that issue and refund my money in a timely manner.

I ordered a Sig Sauer stock back in April and my delivery date was updated shortly after my order was completed.
I ordered in April when things showed to be in stock and the following morning I received an update for shipment in July. I never received any notification of anything after that.
I've checked on my order twice in July and my date changed from July 12th, to July 21st and after checking again today, it's changed again to July 27th. Who knows how many more times it will change, but don't pay this company. They are complete garbage and do not fulfill their ends. I paid long ago OP. You're garbage and I hope you all go bankrupt. I tried to buy a pair of thermal binoculars. I paid for 2-day shipping so I could get the item immediately. They took my payment, and I got an email with the order confirmation. Two days later, when I was supposed to have gotten my shipment, I checked the website, and my order was still being processed. I contacted customer service, and they told me that because I was a new customer, my account had to be cleared for the order. Why? They already charged me for the item; the money was already withdrawn from my credit card. She assured me, though, that they had cleared my account and the binoculars would be sent out on the first business day, which was another 2 day wait. So I waited. 4 days after I spoke to the company, my order still showed "Processing." I needed the binoculars for a search and rescue, and time is important. I had to cancel my order. They wasted a week of my time, and now I have to go somewhere else and wait another couple of days to get the item. Don't waste your time or money with this company unless you have all the time in the world to wait for your item.

Same issues as everyone else. They want your money so bad that they blatantly lie about inventory count and shipping delays. First purchase I made was not shipped for 2 months, so I canceled it and ordered from another vendor. That order arrived in 2 days from their competitor. OP shipped my 2+ months late order 5 days after I canceled it. I then had to ship it back, at my expense, to get my refund(which took another month). Second order was listed as "in stock"(not likely) and shipping 15-24 days. After 2 months, I blocked all transactions having to do with OP from my payment method. That did not keep them from attempting to charge me 4-5 times until they took the hint, almost 3 months from when I made the mistake of ordering from them for the last time. I finally blocked them from Chrome so I didn't have to see anymore of their lies in my search results. Just a horrible company that should never be at the top of any search results. You should pretend they just don't exist, as you will regret trying to save money by having them waste your time and money. Consider ordering from OpticsPlanet not to be an option, ever, for any price. You will regret it.

Have purchased several times from this company and its affiliate Dvor.com. My experience has recently been that they cannot and do not ship at the time they state. They blame the shipper, but they didn't send the package to the shipper. Lied and told me 6 days ago it was shipped, but it didn't. Problems with returns. They said refund within 10 business days of receipt, yet agent told me 14 days, and then admitted she was wrong. They Lied again. 14 business days after receipt still nothing from refund, and then only store credit. THE PRICES LOOK DECENT SO IT ENTICES YOU TO BUY, BUT THEY CAN'T SEEM TO SHIP ON TIME, HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LIE TO YOU! BUYERS BEWARE.
Bought telescope and one of parts (Laser Pointer) was broken when I received the product. Notified company via email support. Was told to do an RMA. I asked if they wanted the whole package back or just the broken part to replace. Response I received stated... "Thank you for contacting us about your order! Yes sir, you can, since it respect the delay of return." which makes no sense. I packed up everything and the RMA required me to pay for return shipping. I sent a note to their support stating since the product arrived broken I was not paying for the shipping to return it. The response I got was "Okay. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again." By no way was this response correcting my issue with having to pay for shipping. I then reached out to my credit card company to dispute this charge as the company was not making this process simple. Now OpticsPlanet says they will not send a pre-paid return shipping label until I remove the chargeback/dispute from my credit card company. I will not be held hostage by a business that operates in this manner.
I ordered 1 1/2 years ago and still do not have product. The nerve of then to continue to sell the item, w/o telling people about being on backorder. The most pathetic company I have EVER dealt with. After 1 1/2 years, I still hear sorry for the delay but the supplier is behind YET I GET THE PRODUCT FROM OTHER COMPANIES WHO GET THEM FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER.
