I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.
I ordered something that was in stock, then they back-ordered it for 12 months. After that, they shipped it to me and charged my credit card. The box arrived empty and they will not take a return or give me a refund. They are cooked scammers.

Very bad experience with Optics Planet, when they charged my credit card, cancelled order without notifying me and not refuse to return mane. I sent them bank statement showing they withdrew money, but customer service still insist i was not charged.
I would think twice before shopping with them
I tried to order a knife, that on their website says "The Kershaw Launch 4 Black Folding Knife was crafted with Californians in mind but is also a perfect option for anyone seeking a shorter blade." Anyone, unless they just don't want to sell it to you then they make up some story that it can't be sold to just anyone. To make matters worse, you can't get an answer form them as to why. Their customer service is awful and just sends you in circles.

In August I ordered rounds that were supposed to be in stock. I was impressed to be notified that they would be shipped within 2 weeks. Within a couple days Opticsplanet changed it to a month out and after checking their site several times this date moved to an additional 2 weeks, then a month and now it's February 2021. I also placed a new order in September, but this caught up with the same shipment dates. I didn't have rounds for my range training class or for practicing, although I ordered them in time. I agree about customer service practices- I experienced the same. I planned to not get out of line to receive my order, but will now that I'm lucky they didn't yet charge me. I will cancel and avoid the extra headache from a wrong order! Phew!
Early this morning I ordered a set of Talley scope rings. Upon confirming my order, I immediately realized that the part number did not match the product description. I attempted to cancel the order but the cancellation button vanished. I tried several times to cancel or change my order on the website unsuccessfully. I called customer service at exactly 9:00 central time and was told that it was too late because it had already shipped. I had tracked the package and it was still at the facility. A label was created, nothing more. If I made a mistake that's one thing, but the issue is 100% on Optics Planet. They had a golden opportunity to provide excellent service and did nothing.
Ordered Fuji XP 140 camera. Received email notification order was placed. Noticed online that it was on backorder. Called customer service. On hold 20 minutes got verification from the representative everything was fine it was going to ship. Received a follow-up email stating I needed to run some stupid verification process for a credit card with a zero balance. Credit card company had no problem with the charge. Another 20 minutes waiting for representative decided to cancel the order from this garbage company. Don't recommend doing business with him customer service sucks

2 hours after buying an "in stock" scope I received in e-mail stating a new ship date 1 1/2 months! I waited and after a month and a half I received no scope, no updated shipping info. I attempted to e-mail and call this so called company only to be informed they are not answering their phones or e-mails! Spend your money elsewhere. This is just another trash company.
I ordered a harness over a month and a half ago, and this company has bumped my order several times. Their customer service is terrible and when you inquire about the status of your order you get a bounce back email telling you how slammed they are and can't even update you. You have to use their order status portal to get any info. They will not respond to voicemails and I just found out my order got bumped once again so it want even ship till over two months from order date. I don't even have a tracking number yet as I'm writing this review. This company is poorly managed at best and should be avoided.

Absolutely do not waste your money on any type of expedited shipping, it is a waste. I requested and paid additional money for 3-5 day delivery. Tried to track item and have been notified expected delivery is 2 weeks after order was placed. I paid for expedited shipping due to a deadline, not that the reason matters. Nothing expedited about DHL which utilized the USPS which is notoriously slow. I have now been burned twice as I dismissed the first time as a fluke. Won't get me a third. I am done with this clown show.
Ordered ammunition from the company 2 years ago, which I understand there were ammo shortages, but when I ordered it it was in supply. I never received the ammo and the estimated ship date kept getting pushed back. Then 2 years later I get an email saying they no longer can get me the ammo and the best they can do is 9% discount for my inconvenience. Needless to say I have been buying ammo from another company and have had no issues and it's much cheaper with free shipping most of the time.
Ordered a recurve bow over 2 months ago, delivery was continuously pushed further and further back so I decided to call and cancel. The attitude that I received from the woman on the other end of the phone was appalling. I was not screaming, yelling, or using profane language and yet the employee hung up on me, for trying to cancel the order. Pay a little more and buy elsewhere, for $20 more will now have the bow in hand 3 days from now.

Got a great offer via email to purchase ammo at a time when ammo prices were going up. I had never heard of Optics Planet before but the reviews I saw were not too bad so I decided to place an order on 9-18-2020. The order was expected to ship in 6-8 weeks. Each time an estimated shipping date approached, the date was extended. As of 4-16-2022, the expected shipping date is now 12-14-2022. I believe this was a scam to solicit new customers offering a great deal on an out-of-stock item with no intention of ever filling the order. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I placed several orders between October and December of 2020. I still have not received product and am now being told product is no longer available please check site for alternative. Really? I'm not sure what everyone else's issue was but I've had no issues whatsoever with optics planet, I've bought all my accessories and things from them for years now and just realized they have this horrible review. Okay, somethings backordered and you don't want to wait? Cancel it, I just did that the other day. People are so whiny these days. This entire rifle is built from optics planet other than the bipod. All quick responsive and fast shipping.

Ordered 3 boxes of shotgun shells on a friday afternoon, recieved email order was being processed, come monday company says that there would be a slight delay do to heavy orders coming in.one week later and still not shipped with no explanation.my guess is they were waiting for shells to come in, but advertised in stock. Totally bogus bull$#*! company. Check out all reviews that the company does not control and you will see a very familiar mo for this terrible company.
This website is absolutely terrible. Almost all ammo shows as "Back-Ordered". And good look actually finding any optic sights that aren't overpriced. When you actually do find something in stock, it takes them over a month to ship it. Customer support is poor and takes almost a full week to respond. They have no issues taking your money, but have major issues with just about everything else. Stay far away from this train wreck.
They were supposed to send my package overnight for my son's birthday, but instead sent economy 5-10 days. Did not want to fix the issue after. Bad on them. Palmetto State or Primary arms from now on.
