I ordered a folding stock for an AK 47. I did not read enough to see it would not fit my Yugo AK. I emailed them and they emailed me a prepaid label and told them what I needed. In about a week I had the replacement that for my Yugo AK. If you don't call that customer service you don't know come here from sic'em.
The shipping date changes every week to a week farther away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They don't answer the phone and say they will call you back but the call never arrives either.
They cancelled my order for an AR VISE BLOCK which is NOT a gun part. It is NOT ILLEGAL to order AR parts for existing ARs even in communist WA. OpticsPlanet does not know the laws and opted to be cowards cancelling my order out of unnecessary fear. VISE BLOCKS ARE NOT GUN PARTS.
I placed an order March 21st 2019 for an "in-stock" item. Shortly there after I got an email saying partial shipment and the product was 7-16 days out.
I've called and sat on hold for 34min one time, 27 min the next time, called and left messages, emailed and nobody gives me the time of day. Even today Zero for a response in any way, shape or form.
I just want to cancel the order or hear it's being shipped, anything!
I used PayPal instead of a credit card therefore I cannot place a stop payment so let that be a lesson in itself.
I am nobody special or important to them and I understand that but I am however and very dissatisfied customer and know from research that I am one of many.
Apparently I'm just going to have to except this horrible experience for what it is until they decide to send it to me but I will say...
Never again, They have lost my business for life and I will make it a point to make sure I never order a single thing from them again, and also advise others who ask me to look elsewhere.
Shame on you Optics Planet.
I Bought this morning 07/09, a box of Hornady 125 grs. 308. Before 9 am.
And this afternoon i receive a mail that my order will be shipped between 1 and 3 months. With a note that my c/cr will be not charged till dispatch was done. WRONG, THEY CHARGE MY ACCOUNT EARLY ON THE MORNING!

Ordered a holster which took weeks to ship. When it arrived it did not fit my handgun. I was hung up on several calls. Now I have a credit with a company I will never do business with again...
This company's training MUST include lying. It happens alt all departments and has been a long standing of customer disservice.
To get a straight answer is impossible, their shipping is slowest and the tracking is BS as they LOVE to say that a "shipping label has been created" means it shipped when in reality it, the order, is still in the warehouse and will be for a week or more BEFOE IT ACTUALLY SHIPS.

As you can read from most other reviews. They have issues when it comes to your order being shipped and if it's really in stock. My order qualified for free shipping due to spending 400 bucks on a spur mount. I paid for expedited shipping so it would get to me faster. After it was EVENTUALLY shipped I see on the tracking page that they used ground. So even though I paid for faster shipping they used the slowest option available for them to save money. Thank God I didn't use the free shipping or they would have probably road a bike to deliver it. I guess because I'm not sure what's slower than ground?
I ordered barrel and reflex sight for my new Sig P365XL. I gave my PO Box as the shipping address but was informed they could not ship to a PO Box. I then gave them my physical (home) address and explained that this address does not receive USPS deliveries. I received an email acknowledging the new address and was told my order would not be shipped via USPS. Today I received a shipping notification saying my order was shipped out via USPS. I called customer service and after being put on hold for 15 minutes I was able to ask a xustomer service rep how they would resolve this. She basically said there was nothing they could do except wait for the package to return to them. Once it was returned they could either reship it or give me a refund which would probably take weeks. At this point I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would get back to me within 48 hours. So nothing is resolved. They are currently into me for over $500. I've been their loyal customer for many years, but no more.

4 out of the 4 times I ordered with them they either shipped to wrong address or did not include apt # so there was always delays and I always ended up having to call to find out what's going on. The address on the order confirmation would be correct but somehow they would always make mistakes when shipping the order out. I also ordered a $1200 Trijicon ACOG and when I opened it up (once I finally received it) it was broken. What kind of company ships out broken optics? And there's no way it could've happened during transit because those things come in a very nice hard case with foam inside. I was very surprised to see that they are shipping out not only used products when they are not advertised as used, but sometimes even broken. Also when I called about it they said it would take a week maybe even longer to receive the new one and that's AFTER they receive the broken one after it's shipped back to them. I ended up just demanding a refund and I will never order from them again. Mistakes happen but whenever it's every time you order you eventually learn your lesson. If you do decide to order from them, prepare to be spending a lot of time on hold and a lot of time making phone calls to customer support.

My tip is try your best not to order from them. I know they have a good selection but try your best to find the product somewhere else first. They should be a last resort.

Optics planet is horrible, I ordered a couple of items put them in my cart paid the money and then they sent me an email a day later saying that they would be 5 to 7 weeks on back order. They will not answer my emails or refund me the money for the two items, it is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with online, do not waste your time and money on Opticsplanet

I ordered a holster for an M&P 9, the full sized handgun, not the smaller Shield version. The website explicitly stated that the holster fit the M&P 9, so that's what I bought. Lo and behold, the holster arrived and was for the smaller Shield gun. There were options on the site for me to select the exact holster I needed, such as choosing the model of the gun, the material, etc., and still they sent me the wrong holster. I believe the holsters are made to order, so they had to have used the wrong gun mold to make my holster or it was a rush job. I was able to contact support and they told me to send it back for adjustments. I did just that, and I got it back a few weeks later, now fitted properly for my gun. The only issue I had afterwards was that they told me they would reimburse the shipping cost, but I was ignored for a long time until opening a new claim with them about it. I got my holster fixed and my shipping money back, but it was a hassle. Holster is good quality and affordable otherwise, so if they don't manage to mess up your order then you'll be happy with the product.

Purchased 2 laser sights for Glock 43 at nearly $700 and needed them in 2 weeks for a Christmas gift. System allowed purchase to go through, did not mention that they DID NOT HAVE THE PRODUCT IN STOCK and even allowed me to pay for 3 day expedited shipping for a product they did not have. Received an email couple days after the purchase that said my shipment had been ordered and they did not know when it would be fulfilled. I responded to their email as instructed to ask if the product would ship by Christmas. No answer. I emailed again a couple days later - no answer. Called Customer Service and waited on hold for 30 min only to get a Customer Service rep that could not give info on when the product would shop, could care less about my order and was more than happy to cancel it so that he could get on to the next unsatisfied customer.
Paid for shipping to avoid USPS. Still shipped usps. Customer service is non existent. Tried to cancel my order and can't even speak to someone. Absolutely ridiculous. This will be my last order.

Ordered an in-stock complete upper, paid for and the email confirmation said it would ship within 11 days, two days before it was to be shipped, I went to track the order, OH now it want ship until next month. I didn't get an update from them about any delays on my order. I wish I had of looked at the reviews before buying anything from this company. Never again! Order something and it says "in stock" - they give you a ship date 2 weeks out and when that date passes they slide it out another month. Scammers!
Ordered a couple of bow release triggers (there are no export regulations on these) while I happened to be traveling back home from overseas. I ordered them to my home (in Texas) with a Texas credit card which is also the same address and someone at their store cannot use a brain and say, wait a minute these aren't an item that has an export regulation I don't need to hassle, harass or interrogate this guy. Nope, the brainiacs at this place lost admittedly a small order but they lost it nonetheless because they felt the need to interrogate and treat someone like a criminal. Excerpt from their email:

Let's just say I had a $50 gift card bought something, returned it and now I don't have a $50 gift card. Customer service responds but refuse to listen to what you say.

I wanted a specific barrel and a slide parts kit for a Glock 19. They had both in stock. They said free shipping would take about a week, and that worked with the time it would take to get other parts. The order was handled the next day, I ordered in the evening, and they provided me DHL shipping advice. DHL took days to do anything with it, and when they did provide tracking information they said it would arrive 13 days after it was ordered. Well they aren't doing themselves any favors. I ordered on the 18th and it shipped on the 19th. I just saw that DHL uses the USPS for deliveries and they handed it to my local post office on the 25th. So it should arrive on the 26th which will be 7 days after it was shipped. Not bad. I've shopped with them before and I wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again.

Their free shipping with DHL is as good as UPS or FedEx ground.

I've ordered from this jerk about 5 times... Every time something is wrong. THEY JACK UP THE COST ONCE YOU ADD A ITEM TO YOUR CART... SHIPPING MAY TAKE 10 DAYS! My last order 21/03/22 two items a set of 30mm rings I needed and a sbr gun bag just to have another spare... These jerks ship the gun bag UPS comes in 3 days... The rings I need they don't put in same box with gun bag... No they ship it through DHL...(all they do is piggyback stuff and USPS ships it)
I buy the rings 3 full days before I order the scope from Sports Optics, the 24 march... Comes 25th March... But my GD rings are still being shipped... may get here next week... I'm told! My point NEVER BUY anything from these people... Don't trust me look at their 1.9 Google Feedback score! If these AHs every send me another email or ad I'm turning them in for unwanted spam... I had purchased an Aero Precision Complete AR15 Upper from Optics Planet 1 1/2 months ago. Waited two weeks just to find in my spam folder the order was cancelled due to living in CA (because of the flash hider). Called their "customer service" (took about an hour in total to reach someone) and they assured me there wouldn't be a problem even if I lived in CA. They resent the order thru and all was good (so I thought). I then received an email a couple days later stating it was cancelled AGAIN! This time, I didn't call customer service but sales (answered instantly) and reordered the piece thru the phone. The gentleman was quite nice and I was assured again, shipping this to CA will not be a problem (he knew my situation) and that he'd call me if it cancelled again. Spoiler alert, it's been a week since I got another cancelled email with no phone call and no response from *******@opticsplanet.com. For the love of guns and outdoor sports, please find another online dealer!

I have to agree... OpticsPlanet has morphed into a 1st class libtard vendor who's customer services are non existent and flat out lies about "free shipping over x amount of $$$" Over the past 3 months I have spent a boat load of cash with them, constantly going over the required amount of purchase to qualify for free shipping and each and EVERY time had to pay. Today was the last draw - I ordered a "restricted" item (according to them) which was a knife and they wanted me to show my federal credentials which I did by iPhone photo and emailed (for their review) and today I get another notice that I need a letter from my department stating that I have "permission" to purchase such an item. Excuse me... I'm a Federal Officer... authorized by law to purchase restricted items which aid in the execution of my duties as such. Nope, we're done with OP, found what I was looking for on another site, purchased it with NO issues. The kicker... I tried to close my account with OP only to have them say that "you can request to delete your personal information so it will not be sold." Umm... that's NOT what I asked. I said to close my account with immediate effect, nothing about privacy issues. Finally it got done but they hemmed and hawwed in the process.
Close your account, don't look back... there are plenty of vendors out there that appreciate and reward you for trusting them with your hard-earned dollars. OP has turned into a joke, and I'm even more disappointed in myself for staying with them this long.
