My experience with Oricle raises serious concerns about both their product and business practices.

First, the hearing aids simply fail to perform as advertised – instead of enhancing the specific sounds you want to hear, they simply amplify all ambient noise indiscriminately. Based on my subsequent experience with the company, I strongly suspect their positive reviews are fabricated.

The problems I had with the company began immediately with my initial order. Though I ordered one unit for $100, the company shipped and charged me for two units, totaling $170. When I contacted them about this error, they claimed they couldn't help because the order had "already been shipped" – a claim I now doubt. While they assured me that I could return the second unit, this proved to be misleading.

After trying the product for a couple of days, I attempted to return both units. The company sent the same canned reply twice without providing the essential return information I needed. Despite many follow-up emails, they remained unresponsive. It wasn't until I filed a dispute with my credit card company that they finally provided the return information – conveniently, four days after their 30-day return window had expired. They pointedly noted that they cannot issue refunds after 30 days.

Their pattern suggests a calculated scheme: They deliberately ship more items than ordered, then stall on return requests until their return window expires. When they finally provide the information needed, they also reveal a restocking fee and the requirement that customers pay for return shipping (the RMA they send is just a number, not a shipping label.)

I suspect that even if customers do manage to return the product, they won't receive a refund. This would leave Oricle with both the customer's money and a product they can resell, effectively profiting twice from their deceptive practices.

I'm very troubled by companies like Oricle that seem to deliberately target us seniors. Don't make my mistake – avoid Oricle, their product that doesn't work, and their deceptive practices.
