I get black friday is considered a huge sale and is very busy. However, I also think it is the employees job to have knowledge about the sales and products. I love pacsun, but i was disappointed with my visit today, November 25,2016. I went into a Pacsun store and considering that it is Black Friday, I was given a little hand out with the store deals. There was a BOGO 50% off sale which included some exclusions. There was also a deal saying "$15 Bodysuits" and i looked around card to see if their were exclusions on the bodysuits and to see if it was for selected styles only, and there was no specification. Therefore, I found a bodysuit i really liked, and decided i'd ask an employee about whether or not it was included in the $15 sale. The employee told me "yes that one is $15." I even asked 3 other employees about it just to make sure and i got the same answer, yes. So i felt content about it and went to go pay for the item... then was told that it was NOT a sale item. Its upsetting when theres a big sale going on and employees don't tell you accurate information. However, in the moment i was loving the bodysuit so i bought it at its full price of $32. But now, im going to return it because I dont think its worth it anymore. Not to mention, I decided to return it in store a few hours after the purchase and was told to go in line to return. After waiting 10 minutes to return it, an employee told me that they cant do any returns as of today until Monday because the system is "too slow" and that "its too busy". Oh really? Because at other pacsun stores, returns and exchanges is still allowed on black friday. I use to be a huge fan and loyal member of pacsun, but now i dont know how i feel anymore.

I ordered too small & am so exaughsted by the return process. First I jad to chat with the people & because pacsun email thing couldnt find my order. Then the next day I typed it in & now its just not working! I send an email directing through my gmail & it says it dosnt get monitored & takes me back to the informing link. Honestly I dont feel like writing anymore but I went through alot more then that but you get the jist. My order says it hasnt even been delivered yet as well on there website so it dosnt give me the return option yet I have an email it was delivered (& obviously was delivered). Its very fake n wierd honestly. & The quality isnt worth 60$ pants & 20$ half shirt... I feel like they just want you to give up on returning them so they can keep your money. Its a shame cuz I liked some of there stuff but I WONT ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. *** 0 STARS *** Beware.

My family and I recently visited PacSun in Monroe Ohio (outlet). We were in the store for about 2-5 mins not sure but I know for a fact as soon as we walked in seconds later 2 security guards were coming in and eye balling us specifically. I'm far from stupid I already know what is going on at this point. They watched our every move. There were two employees and one of the girls approached us asked if we needed any help and that was it. The other employee just watched us. There is only a couple of other people in the store the store was not crowded at all at this point. They continue to watch and it made all of us very uncomfortable and irritated, but we ignored it. I proceeded to the counter to pay for our things and the lady said did u find everything ok, my fiancé said yes but we didn't look as much as we wanted because you guys called security for some reason to watch us. Then all of a sudden the other employee comes over to the counter in a very rude and unprofessional manner clapping her hands with every word and twisting her head being very rude. Saying I called security because you guys were to loud and I heard a cuss word. Smdh. I politely at first said to her well we didn't mean to be loud but your being very rude and unprofessional and that's not how you handle anything for one there is no need for the head rolling and the clapping of the hands. First thing we all work and we damn sure don't have to $#*!in steal from this store or anywhere else. PSA not all black people steal not all black people not work and live off the system. Not all black people are rude I am a nurse and I deal with $#*!s daily but what I will never do is argue with them or speak To them in a rude manner. It's unprofessional i don't give a damn where your employed. We were not rude at all but the head rolling and hand clapping pissed me the $#*! off and as it escalated I used a few of my own choice words. The racial profiling is very real and it's $#*!in ridiculous. I will never shop there again, oh and I didn't purchase what I was going to by either. Their corporate office wil hear about this.

I WAS an extreimely loyal coustomer at Pacsun. I every trip i made, i'd spend $100 + and signed up for a new rewards program called my GSOM rewards and when u earn enough points you'll get a $5 off coupon. The only reason i shop at Pacsun is because of Brandy Melville. I go there to buy Brandy only and they had an "amazing sale" buy two get three free to lure me in. Now to my understanding thats buy two items in the sale section, get three additional items in the sale section free. Ive shopped this sale before and never had a problem. However the dumb kid on register told me i had too many items. So i thought to myself, im such an idiot and told him to take ONE item off. He then asked me for my rewards name and he couldnt look me up so he said "ill hook you up". In the end i bought 7 items with a grand total of $115. Well i get home and i only had 6 items in my bag. I immediatley texted my friend that worked there and asked why i was missing an item. This item was one of the FREE shirts i was elligable to recieve so there would be no problem right? His manager told me i never paid for it and to basically get screwed. So now i dont have the shirt i scoured the entire store for, i was told i was WRONG, AND i dont have my reward points. If that kid was gunna "hook me up" i wouldve gotten that shirt back no questions asked lol. Absolute $#*!ing rip off and i will not spend another dime there. I'm going to save so much money lmao.

I received a $50 gift card from my cousin for my birthday, and last Friday (11/18/22), I tried to place an order for two pairs of jeans using my gift card. I received the message "We're sorry your order can't be placed due to technical or connection errors. Your method of payment has not been charged. Please wait a few minutes before resubmitting your order." However, when checking my gift card balance, it had gone to $0. I thought that there must've been a mistake due to connection errors, so I contacted customer service. They essentially said that there was a pending authorization on my gift card that needed to be removed, and I would receive my money back within 8 hours---this did not happen. The next day, I contacted customer service AGAIN, and the pending authorization still wasn't removed within the next 24 hours. So I called customer service (this is my THIRD time contacting customer service to get my money back), and I finally received the money back on my gift card.

However, today I tried to place an order with it and the same issue occurred---it said that there were connection issues and my order couldn't be placed, and the money from my gift card was gone. I contacted customer service for the FOURTH time, and the only response I received was that the pending authorization will be removed in 8 hours (which is doubtful since this didn't happen the first time), and I should try placing an order from a different account.

It seems non-coincidental that an order with my gift card was unable to go through twice, but the money from my gift card was taken. Either 1) PacSun's website is terrible and/or 2) PacSun runs their Gift Cards on the business model where you buy them, but they try to prevent you from spending the money, so they can gain money while their customers aren't able to purchase any products. This would make them a profit easily, since I'm sure not everybody has time to talk to Customer Service for 2 hours out of their week.
