It is excellent Morocco tours with Paleo Morocco Tours.
I were on this trip with my wife and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience with our driver and guide Moha. We would recommend Morocco as a destination to travellers, as long as they do their research beforehand. I need to stress and highlight that Morocco is a beautiful country with lovely people and they are honest. We learnt about rich culture of Morrocco and excatly hidden culture (Berber Culture). That in mind, when people visit this country, they must keep an open mind and spirit. My wife asked a lot of inappropriate questions and would often bring the mood of the group down. The lifestyle and mentality is not the same as in other part of the world like North America or Europe, and that has to be accepted, not constantly challenged with judgemental comments. Accommodations: For the most part, the accommodations in this package are acceptable. Some hotels are in desperate need of maintenance, which would make the stay that much more enjoyable. Also, please note that while most hotels have wifi, it doesnt work in the bedrooms in many cases. I think that the homestay should not be referred to as such, because we did not actually interact with the family. It was more of a guesthouse, a family run hostel. The idea of homestay is where you integrate with your host family, interacting and learning from them. We did not have this experience. Visiting the Berber camp, however, was amazing. We were welcomed into the tent that served as home for the family. We did not stay there, but it was definitely a beautiful experience. Transportation: Our driver was amazing. He was friendly and easy to talk to. He made jokes with us along the way, even played pranks. This package includes a lot of road trips, our car was confortable, although the AC was always working ideally. I would say that the transportation provided on this trip fit the needs of the travellers. Meals: The food is Morocco is very good and vegetarian friendly, but not very diversified. After 5 days, I was pretty tired of Tajines and couscous, BUT it was good at least. LOTS of bread. Food is not expensive overall, and at any restaurant, you can always find a cheaper option for those people on budget. The one thing I did not appreciate is that in certain cities/villages or for certain meals while commuting between cities, we were not given the option of where to eat. We were taken to a certain restaurant and therefore had to pay the fare of whatever the options were. Or in certain hotels, the option of going out to explore the city was unavailable to us, so we ate at the hotel, but those meals were not included. My suggestion for such meals is to include it in the package price. They were not expensive and the food was good, but if I dont have the option of where to eat, I dont want to have to put my spending money towards that meal. It might seem insignificant, but spending money was budgeted and therefore I would like to spend it the way I want. I did not enjoy most cocktails I tried, but wine was pretty good overall. Guide: Our guide was satisfactory overall. He presented us with options for our trip and we had the liberty to choose what we wanted to do. However, his communication skills were always amazing. Informative person. He was knowledgeable about his country and people, which is always a plus.
EXPLORE! The fort in Essouira near the water front is beautiful. If you go there, do not miss it! The Sahara Desert and camel trek was definitely a highlight. If the weather permits it, sleep under the stars, outside of the tents. It is an absolutely beautiful and breathtaking experience. Climb the sand dunes. Wake up early to watch the sunrise. Get sand stuck in your hair, its worth it.
