I love this place so much, especially the iced coffee, me and my baseball "teammates" aka lovers come here often and get the rice bowls
Food did not match the menu pictures or the TV ad. Very deceptive advertising. Chicken sandwich was a tiny piece of burnt chicken, 1 small piece of wilted lettuce, no flavor good or bad. Too expensive. So disappointed, will never eat there again. If you have never been there, good luck finding your way around. No staff member offered any assistance. The pink lemonade tasted like a powdered mix and burned my throat.
This is an abomination of food. Type 2 diabetes in the forms of a croissant. In French speaking countries they often have chocolate filled croissants. Not a lot inside but just enough. The Panera one was covered in thick chocolate and filled with a ton and looked like a baby's diaper. What's wrong with you product developers? It's a downright insult to food and health to sell this garbage.
Most incompetent store. Paid $69 for food. Didn't get my wife who is sick soup. Told me they didn't serve soup bowls and never have where I can order it on the website from the same store. Ordered a broccoli and chicken bowl and got chicken teriyaki in a to go container. Last time we got to go it had gloves in the food. Don't go here! It's awful!

Stopped at the Roseville location today only to spend way, way too much money for a very dried out Signature Chicken sandwich and a tasteless, watery Broccoli Cheese Soup with a couple of pieces of nasty mushy broccoli in the bottom. I am sorry I did not take a picture. It was a carry out, And I ate it because it cost me $19.16. I should have gone to a real restaurant and got a real meal!
Ordered the Napa almond chicken sandwich. Opened it up and there was almost no chicken, almond or grapes? There was however a ton of lettuce and a couple tomatoes. So another words I had a Napa lettuce tomato sandwich sprinkled with chicken. This place is a rip off and I will never in my life order food from this place again.
We had VERY poor service! Only thing good was the food! The person that took the order obviously had a problem that she had to ring us up because we had cash and we interrupted the time she had to talk to her co-worker. She had a horrible attitude! No smile not even a fake one. No thank you! I don't think I've we have ever went out and got treated this bad. There was no ice for drinks and we had to find that out for ourselves after we paid. Even the cuts in the bread bowls were poorly done where one was spilling out the side before he could even start eating it.
We picked up bread bowls at the Lawrence KS store, and brought home for soup tonight. The bread bowl bowls were half the size that they used to be and hard as a rock. Whoever is doing your baking needs to go back to school.
I have so many complaints about this place, Panera is not worth the price. I ordered a danish because I had a free birthday pastry, and though it said it on the receipt, it did not come. When I tried to tell the hostess, she was too busy singing "Jeremiah was a bullfrog" at the top of her lungs to listen to me. Another time I went, my friend had an incorrect order and took it to the front. They corrected it, but denied her the "free treat" that they promise on the receipt if your order is not right! A meal for two is $25 and service is horrible all they do is bring you your plate. That is the only interaction I have with the servers.
Stopped being a customer awhile ago due to the cheapness in getting a decent sandwich so I gave them another shot today for takeout and seriously? It's even worse! They changed the bread to be so much thicker so they can put even less Napa Chicken Salad in it making you think you are getting a huge stuffed sandwich! The cost is ridiculous!
They think we are stupid! Hate the bread to filling ratio, very little chicken salad. C'Mon Panera! Stop being CHEAP AND EXPENSIVE! I can get better sandwiches elsewhere for less, from now on I am supporting local deli's. Panera lost this customer for good!
Our worst ever meal. Sandwiches were cold and partially frozen. Tortellini was TOTALLY frozen with almost no pesto sauce. Soup was bland. There are so many really good places to eat in Springfield. Just awful.
I used to like Panera. 10 years ago. They've gone completely down hill in every area. Coffee is now terrible. You pay $20 for a finger sandwich and 6 oz bowl of what tastes like canned soup. Pastries have shrunk considerably. Service in most Paneras is really slow. I will no longer support them unless they undergo a complete overhaul.
Beware when placing a delivery order. Panera tacks on a considerable "convenience fee", plus delivery, plus taxes and a mandatory tip.
The order arrived on time but one of the 1/2 salads was wrong. No utensils provided for the soups and salads. As far as I know the food was ok.
Panera Bread Co., Manchester Rd., Kirkwood, MO.
Store's dining room is locked even though when called they said is open untill 9:00 PM. The drive through is only taking internet orders but there is no sign stating this fact.
Tip for consumers:
Forget about getting anything from Panera.
I live in a small town with limited dining out options. We traveled to Fishers, Ind and there was Panera
Very excited, only to be extremely disappointed in the food. New summer corn chowder tasted violently of cheddar, same soup base as broccoli/cheddar. Cold bacon on turkey sandwich with brown avocado. Disgusting. Lots of other dining choices. Panera, I won't be back.
The store at Parkside Commons in Cary North Carolina is not worthy of customers. The food there was always meh, but now there is less of it, down to the "new (smaller) containers" for the yogurt granola parfait and smaller portions. The manager Kim must be insane because she defended her employee Valerie who claimed she couldn't possibly have made a mistake in "measuring out the yogurt" when I complained. She said, there is no need to show me photos, just move on. I am going to write to the company to see that both parties are fired.
Renee, the cashier at jessup Road, Jessup, MD has a terrible attitude. She doesn't look like she wanted to be there, couldn't even hear what she say and when I said 'excuse me, I didn't hear you', she rolled her eyes still repeated same low voice again. Same thing happened last week with this same lady here.
Please train her well like other Panera employees which are great.
False advertising! The "grilled cheese"is not.just dry toast with a slice of cheese in between & never touched the grill! 'French onion soup" is not French Onion just canned onion soup with 6 tiny tiny tiny pieces of shredded cheese and no crusty bread under it at all! Panera needs to learn how to truthfully descibe their products! I'll stick with Fast Food where I know what I'm paying for.
I stopped by Panera Bread in the Cleveland Clinic, Mayfield Heights location this morning. I ordered 2 blueberry bengals, one with cream cheese and one with just butter. They toasted both of them and stuffed them in a bag with nothing on them, I just had a procedure done and was having trouble seeing. They could tell this, I mentioned it. Both bengals where not even wrapped up. I now remember why I don't go to Panera Bread.
Tried to order on kiosk. Tried several (3) items. Each one said 'out of stock'. So decided to go up to person to order. Someone from kitchen saw me several times. Nobody came to take order until I let out a whistle. They were out of chicken, Turkey and avocado. Would have just left but my girlfriend already ordered grilled cheese. This was 4:30, Sunday at St. Cloud location. Did order grilled cheese as well. Oh and out of ice tea and several coffee choices were out and not going to be replaced. After I ordered, she asked if I wanted to leave a tip?. That did hit my funny bone What happened to our St. Cloud Penera? Last time I went at 9:30 a m and they were out of light roast coffee. Waited till 10:00, still none. Got my $$ back but manager wanted to put it on my credit card. I said I paid cash! I thought that was weird. I guess I will only blame myself if I ever go back.

Food
This place isn't good to eat at. Plus I used to work there. And a co worker asked for me to die on my Facebook messenger. Clearly the worker n management don't care for their past employees even if they helped the store open up. N worked hard at doing my job as a dish washer. Do not eat here people. U will get the coronavirus from eating this $#*!ty food
I had a meeting with a club after school. The students really like bagels. I wanted to make sure that they didn't run out, so I placed the order at 7:45. At 1:30 Panera canceled saying they were out. I called the bakery and talked to a very rude manager. She never admitted a mistake on her or her people's part. All she would say is that the system isn't perfect. Offered no apology. I received an email saying that I would receive a full refund in seven to 10 days. How nice. Stay away from the Creve Coeur store.
Tip for consumers:
Don't
Have never had a problem with eating at Panera. Was a bit disappointed
With ordering salads to take out, seemed much smaller than what we had when eating in. However, quality of food matters as much as taste. Both are great.
My order was a half turkey, bacon, avocado blt and a cup of b&c soup. Hard bread, no avocado, tons of lettuce, and no bacon. Why else would I order a blt. You are missing one of the main ingredients. After my husband and I both picked a UPick 2, they do not clarify that you are paying full price for whatever you pick. So why even advertise that? Just say we have nothing special. $34 dollars after asking for a round up for charity (I don't mind that) and then a tip up front? Will NEVER go back

Sandwich and soup
On our way home from an afternoon at Atlantic Beach NC we stopped for a meal at Panera Bread. Wife ordered a "Pick Two" Half a sandwich and a half salad $15.00, I ordered a bowl of Corn Chowder. $6.00. For $21.00 I could NOT believe the meal my wife received. The tomatoes on the sandwich looked like they were picked out of the trash can that is in 95 degree sunshine, The salad? OMG the lettuce was black, gooey, and made me gag. The cherry tomatoes were picked out of the same trash as the sliced ones. What a piss poor excuse for "fresh" "clean" veggies. Yes they refunded our money but come on, WHY would they try to serve the garbage? Because most everyone does drive thru and probably won't turn around and go back. I DID! Never will I eat there again, NEVER.
Delivery was 30 minutes late and the food was in poor quality when it finally arrived! The croissants were soggy from tuna salad which wouldnt have been an issue had it been on time. The breakfast sandwich from yesterday's order was cold and I thought I'd give them another chance. Don't waste your money with Panera!
Penn center has been going down hill- today we entered at 145 for two take out lunches used the kisiok and had to listen to the manager yell back and forth to the workers about their schedules- paying no attention to us- 15 minutes in we asked if we could have our lunch and we were told Mac takes time- as they continued yelling at each other. The place was dirty and the employees were disinterested.
