I love this place so much, especially the iced coffee, me and my baseball "teammates" aka lovers come here often and get the rice bowls
Food did not match the menu pictures or the TV ad. Very deceptive advertising. Chicken sandwich was a tiny piece of burnt chicken, 1 small piece of wilted lettuce, no flavor good or bad. Too expensive. So disappointed, will never eat there again. If you have never been there, good luck finding your way around. No staff member offered any assistance. The pink lemonade tasted like a powdered mix and burned my throat.
I placed an order and an item was missing from my order, when I called in to ask if I could get a credit to my rewards card I was left on hold for a while and then she came back and said it was not possible to put point on something on my card and offered no other options. Not Good Customer Service!
Purchased "bowl" of soup & half of a sandwich". $18.00! Panera Bread said a bowl of soup is a "Laddle" of soup! More like a cup of soup to me. And the half sandwich? Good God Almighty! I would be ashamed to charge anyone for what you get. And terrible management.
I ordered a sandwich and they toasted all veggies in toaster. Terrible. Toasted avocado. Yuck. Toasted tomatoes yuck. You toast the sandwhich first. Then veggies last. Duh. The pictures look nothing like the sandwich
I sent my husband to the Germantown TN Panera today to buy a $50 gift card for a friend. The clerk told him that with the purchase of a $50 gift card, he would get a FREE $10 gift card to keep. He was using a $100 VISA card to pay. When he got to the next place and went to use the VISA card again... SURPRISE! Panera had taken an extra $10 plus tax off the VISA. He had no way to prove it as the receipt did not show the $10.98 they had scammed him out of. HMMM... wonder of our friend has $60.98 credit on her card now? Anyway, a sorry way to do business! We will not return for any reason!
Went to Panera yesterday afternoon at a slow time of day (4:00pm). Order a bowl of soup with a brioche roll/side and a drink. Soup was cold, and a baguette instead of a brioche roll. I made a comment to staff about the problems, that went unanswered, so I took the soup to the microwave to heat it up myself. Microwave was filthy, but I heated the soup up anyway. After a few minutes gathering my thoughts, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out promptly, I explained my concerns to the manager, and she offered apologies, and excuses, but did nothing to rectify the problems. Overall, it was a bad experience at Panera, and certainly my last visit to this particular location.
My mother has wasted her soup coming in the house and apparently the bottom of the bag wasn't secure enough to hold the soup and the soup cap opened and the soup bursted open make the caps and bags more secure please my mother is now crying.
I wasn't feeling well. I thought i will go to panera get a bowl of soup. Sit down. Relax after work. I paid for a bowl of soup. It was half full. I asked him to put in more. I paid for a BOWL not a cup in a bowl. He still held back. That makes me not want to bother going back. I haven't yet. If i get the thought, that will come to mind.
Today I ordered a sandwich, some Mac and cheese and a few soups. I never got the Mac and cheese and the soups were not even half way full. I spend over 40 dollars for half assed service and a missing item. Very disappointing.

We still love you entree's except the steak and cheese sandwich... please get rid of the horseradish dressing on the sandwich... please get some help with your sides... the apples have always been awful, and now the POTATO CHIPS are unedible... that leaves the bread. I love your bread, but not when I order a sandwich! Soooo... you need to get back the other potato chips please!
Thank you and I love your lemon cookies by the way!
I've tried Popeyes, Bojangles, Kentucky Fried, and Wendy's chicken sandwich. Saw a commercial on TV for Panera's chicken sandwich. Looked great on TV so I thought I would give it a try. First off, the cost - $11.34! Just the sandwich, no combo, drink or fries. I could have bought two from any of the other places. Second, what you get has no comparison with what they show on TV. The chicken was neatly hidden by the bun. There was no overlap, no sauce visible, no chicken visible. Just one piece of lettuce, and it wasn't much.
Not sure the sandwich even came with sauce as I couldn't find or taste any. So in summary, it cost more than twice as much and wasn't even half as good as any of the others. Forgot to mention it came with a very small bag of chips. It was wrapped nice and the service was good. As for the other four places listed above, I'm still trying to decide which has the best chicken sandwich.
I paid 5.75 for Mac and cheese it literally was about 5 small bites. This was my second attempt with Panera so not worth the price won't be visiting a third time.
I went to the Panera Bread on Greenbrier Pkwy in Chesapeake, Va. And I must say I was disappointed. My Strawberry Frozen lemonade was hot and melted when it was given to me not frozen at all, so asked them to remake. Then when I went to eat my food the fruit cup I ordered on the side wasn't fresh as all. The strawberries were old. The salad was good but that was about it. I don't eat here often but this didn't help the situation for me to go back.
My friends and I were at the Panera in the Lawrence park shopping center in Broomall. My friend had mistakenly not payed for a drink. I had payed for my drink normally. A worker came up to our table, took our drinks, and disrespectfully said we have to pay for our drinks. I politely told the worker that I payed for my drink. He ignorantly said he didn't have time for this. My friends and I came back a few hours later. The workers told us we had to leave because we had sat third for 5 minutes without ordering anything. There was nobody at the resteraunt at the time, so we were not taking up an important space for customers. On the way out I told the manager what had happened earlier, and she rudely ignored me. Will not be back.
Saw in ads about Panera bread. And ordered the pizza. It was way too hard seriously I got jaw pain while chewing what kind of pizza was that no taste nothing absolute waste of money.
I stopped by the location of Roswell Rd, and the service that I received was awful. The employees that worked the kitchen area was arguing with each other, taking their time preparing the food. I purchased 2 Ceasar Salads, and the lettuce was terrible, and I didn't enjoy it. I want be back. Sorry!
The Panera bread I always use to eat and drink is the one located on 8541georgia silver spring. In here it is realy a very neat, fresh and yami foods, good service, good management and supervision and excellent personality and attitude towards every customer.

Read my review it is enough
Ordered the "pick two"... steak and white cheddar sandwich, and broccoli cheese soup. Sandwich was NOTHING like the picture... close inspection revealed one thin slice of some kind of meat and an even smaller slice of cheese. The soup was lukewarm and watery, and was a TINY serving. The price for this disaster was a crime. Go to Arby's and get a beef and cheddar - 3 or 4 times the meat, at least double the cheese, and $4 less. Stop at the grocery store and get a can of broccoli cheese soup, and warm it up at home. Maybe the place I stopped (Manitowoc, Wisconsin) is not typical... but if it is, how does Panera Bread not go belly up?
I truly have never been so disappointed. I called, I emailed. No one would call me back. Then they gave me a $5 reward on my account. That's some great customer service.

I had a door dash delivery from Panera today. I went through the drive through and they told me they could not give me my order through the drive through. I had to wait in line behind several cars to get out of the drive through, all while my time to deliver was running out. When i reached the window, I explained my predicament, but they still refused to hand me my order. I had to pull around and go in. Upon delivery, I realized my order was missing items. I was already late. Panera has NO INTRUCTIONS for Door dashers as to where to pick up their deliveries. I had no way of knowing I could not pick up through the drive through, but of coarse it is my fault that items were missing and the order was late. I will never accept another delivery from Panera on door dash, nor will I eat there myself. That is all.
We ordered tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese sandwich, chicken salad sandwich and a chicken salad at the Newburgh NY Panera Bread and the service and the
Food was all outstanding.
Would highly recommend it
I ordered a rice bowl and a side salad that cost $25. I still felt hungry after my lunch. Portions are really small and food is way overpriced. Would not recommend.
I received a rotten sandwich from Panera today. Panera use to be my favorite place to eat but in the last 6 months everything I have ordered has not been good.
Mike was the person that took my order and he went above and beyond! Friendly! Energetic! Awesome customer Service! At the Garth Rd. Location! 4/21/23
