I love this place so much, especially the iced coffee, me and my baseball "teammates" aka lovers come here often and get the rice bowls
Food did not match the menu pictures or the TV ad. Very deceptive advertising. Chicken sandwich was a tiny piece of burnt chicken, 1 small piece of wilted lettuce, no flavor good or bad. Too expensive. So disappointed, will never eat there again. If you have never been there, good luck finding your way around. No staff member offered any assistance. The pink lemonade tasted like a powdered mix and burned my throat.
Look at the pic! It was sitting out in hallway like this! Especially with the covid and just common sense. The bread wasn't wrapped up. Called after placing order online and told them i was in a hotel! Piss poor customer satisfaction when it comes to a clean delivery. They're food may be clean like they say but not when they deliver! Love panera but won't ever order delivery again! Questioning even eating it!? Smfh smfh
Tip for consumers:
EXPLICITLY DEMAND COVID SANITARY & CLEAN DELIVERY!!!!!
Food tastes chemical-y & don't get the "free" coffee! Even if you cancel, they keep charging you and when you tell them you already canceled they say, tough luck, here's a $5 credit for the $40 you spent on nothing.
I ordered a small salad with Uber eats. When the salad got here it wasn't even the size of a dinner side salad for 8.00. I called the panera it was delivered from and they said everything is pre portioned so there was nothing they would do. Well this is the saddest salad I've ever seen and I paid 8.00 for it. There is maybe an 1/2 an inch of lettuce on it. Highway robbery. I will never order it go into another Panera again..

I reside in NY, Long Island.I was in Nassau county Hicksville and when to Broadway mall to get something to eat.placed the order 1/2 of sandwich and a bowl of soup. The soup was filled just half. And the sandwich was almost 4" a tiny piece of stake and some white stuff. I'm sure that is a cheap melted wanna be cheddar cheese. Almost 18 dollars. Never again. I got my money back. And whent to IKEA $14 and a good meal. Panera portions and quality are not the same anymore. I will never eat there again. And I'm intructing my family about this so they stopping too. Is horrible.
I have gone to the Panera in Chelmsford, MA for a little over a year. For many months, once a week, now only very occasionally. Three out four orders are incorrect. Even though I order online the day before, many times the order is late. This morning was the last straw! Order was late, wrong and the server was snarky.
I go to the panera in lightfoot Virginia but wont be returning my reason why is that there is a Gentleman who I'm sure has mental health issues but I was eating my lunch and he not only was talking to himself he also started to shout that he would kill everyone in restraunt and Jews Blacks etc. I brought my complaint to manager and he was escorted out well few days later I tried one more time because it's close to.my job and I went into the restroom and the same gentlemen was bathing and shaving in the sink. I find this very disturbing and do not understand why Management has not dealt with this Gentleman,,, I myself dont want to eat in a place where my life is in danger. I hope this will be resolved quickly.
The soup was half full and at $8.29 a real rip off. Also it was watered down. The chicken sandwich was burnt, greasy and cold. Wrong item given, never ordered the hot pepper one rather the classic. Overall, horrible food at the Massapequa New York location.
I've been coming to Panera Bread somewhere in the State of Tenn for over 20 years now mainly on the weekends for breakfast. I now go to 3 different locations in Rutherford Co. The food, the service of the employees is getting worse and worse as each week passes. I'm at the Smyrna Tn location as I write this review and my breakfast sandwich was a disaster, I had them to do it over and it was actually worse the second time. I just threw it in the trash. It's really sad to me because I it's one of the highlights of my weekend to go in Panera, eat, drink coffee and just relax, but I rarely get a decent breakfast and the coffee is always cold and been in the pot for hours. And what's even worse writing a negative review will not change one thing about Panera food and employees service, because I don't think from a corporate level Panera really cares.
They ask for a tip before meal and then we have to stand in line to order, get up and pick up order, clear table and throw garbage away. On top of that, they are supposed to make fresh coffee every hour but that is not done. I frequent Panera often and I always have to ask for fresh decaf because it is cold. At the Trumbull, CT. Mall every single pot was cold. I go to many different Paneras and they are all the same with issues. At the one near the Danbury mall, there was the problem with decaf and when they made new my cup was full of coffee grinds. I have spoken to managers/supervisors and nothing changes ever. They need to get better managers who are capable of effecting meaningful change. What a shame because their food is expensive but good. I am considering whether my aggravation is worth the visit!
Your employee by the name Jessica Diomartich is so vivacious and customer friendly in this time of Covid-pandemic. She got so bright attitude which made me feel at home. In general she so vibrant one who must be appreciated and graced highly by her employer.
I will never set foot in another Panera. Maybe for a bear claw. But their sandwiches are awful and today I had a grilled cheese on sour dough. No wheat, no rye bread. I ate the parts with the crust, couldn't eat the center which was way too much cheese, possibly Velveeta. It was awful.
I just got taking a 6 week real estate course in Needham, ma. I am a real estate agent. A few of us would go Panera for lunch and Leka was one of women who took our order. I just want to say she was very pleasant woman! Very nice lady. Always a nice, friendly, pleasant attitude! Thank you Leka!
I have a few tried a true favorites at Panera Bread e.g. the Chicken Noodle Soup, Turkey Chili Soup (yes, there is a soup theme) and Various Flatbreads. They food is good quality for being a chain and the prices are decent for a student. Their bread is very tasty. My family loves buying a baguette and taking it home for dinner.
Ordered over 100.00 worth of food but site would not deliver over 75.00 so I down sized the order but got locked out of the web site at 8:30pm. I called to order curb side got put on hold, never came back! Called again they let it ring!
I love Panera soups. The staff are not friendly nor helpful. I went thru the drive thru and the first time they kept my credit card. When I went back for it someone at the store had charged an additional order with my card. They didn't apologize for not trying my card nor using it to order a meal. I put it down to a mistake. The second time it happened I knew it was a practice because I got the same attitude. No excuses or apologies. They denied having my card and I asked to speak with the manager who somehow found the card. I won't visit Panera again.

How do you not take orders over the phone to be picked up, Panera? What if someone doesn't know how to order online? You just lost a customer just for that complication and inconvenience. Try to start taking orders over the phone for the elderly.
I ordered a small mac and cheese for my two year old granddaughter for over $6.00. It was so small she was looking for more. It was too expensive for the amount of food. Same for my grandson's salad. He liked it, but again for $12.00 it was scimpy on the quantity. If they are going to give such small portions, they need to lower the price by half. My flatbread pizza was so bland and lacked tomato sauce. They have to do better. Most of the reviews were negative. I should have looked at them before deciding to order from Panera.
I have to shamefully admit that in the 5 years Panera has been in my town (Groton Ct) I've never been there so when my sister (who's gaga over it) asked me to lunch it's a perfect chance to try this place! My sister ordered their tomato soup and chicken salad I ordered a bread bowl with cream of broccoli cheese soup. First of all I was surprised that they ask for a tip when you pay for your order but they actually don't do anything it's all self service! So on to the food I was expecting a chorus of angels singing as I took my first spoonful of soup it was bland and not really hot I like my soup volcanically hot. My sister raved about her soup and chicken salad half sandwich which really looked like a tablespoon of salad on bread! So to wrap this up maybe I'll try Panera again but seriously folks, very overpriced snacking I left there and hit Wendy's on my way home!
Quantity and quality of the food has gone down. Orders frequently has mistakes. Don't the guys preparing food review the orders?. The overall quality of the food is poor. The employees are just incompetent... atleast hire some decent employees and unless you maintain your food quality and quantity, you will sure go down hill. Totally unsatisfied. (port charlotte/ florida. Location)store *******
I really thought I was in for a treat certainly cost enough. First, the delivery thought it was too much work to get on the elevator so she left it in the lobby and then the food was awful. The Ceasa Sald was full of stems I guess they are saving on lettuce. The croutons were or tasted like stale bread. The food was cold. Even my dog would not eat it. My first and last experience with them what a shame. It seems they have lost a lot of customers
Tip for consumers:
Just that it was very expensive and I was so looking forward to it and I was so disappointed
I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich the amount of chicken on the sandwich was ridiculous when I brought it to the manager's attention she asked if I wanted her to spread it out for me. I replied no I wanted actual Chicken on my sandwich. I was left with a bread sandwich. Don't eat here it's a waste of your time and money
I visit a Panera bread Restaurant and had to go to the Emergency Room. I order a turkey bacon avocado on focaccia bread. The bacon on my sandwich was completely raw. Never again would I visit another Panera bread. Customer Care didn't even apologize... Horrible experience!
This morning I went to your restaurant and for the second time there was no cream for coffee. I paid $3.50 for a cup of coffee I did not enjoy. And it was only 9:30 in the morning. I will got come there again.
I really think this food is good but it is very expensive. I got a Mac and cheese and it used to be in a nice sized bowl but now it is in maybe an 8oz cup. Not enough food for 9.00 meal. I do really love their cheddar and broccoli soup also but also very expensive, so I never eat here because it is too much for my liking.
I do not buy the soup bowl or other things that look full in the pictures. When they serve a bread bowl with soup, the soup only fills only half the bread bowl. The pictures are one thing with Panera, what you get is another. It is just how they do things.
