I've been reading online that this site was garbage. It's not. I believe depending on what you buy, it's hit or miss. I bought a few things and one of those items, a dress, was the only thing poorly made. It wasn't really lined and kind of feels like a t-shirt. Other than that my order arrived a day early and I am pleased.
First puchase I made was fine. Second purchase both dresses were too big and I had ordered a size small. They would not take back the merchandise. After a number of back and forth emails they offered me a $20 credit. Not worth the trouble. I will never purchase another item from this website again. Everything looks beautiful online but not so much in person. A lot of the fabrics are cheap. Stick with a company that allows you to return items for a refund.

I used to love Papaya in years prior. I recently ordered 6 items and only 3 of the 6 actually fit despite being same sizes. A couple of item were exactly the same just different colors. It needed no sense. Super disappointed that their sizing is so all over the place.
I ordered a sweater back in December. Estimated time to receive it was within 2 weeks. Now is 3 weeks later still waiting for my order. They said it was sent, got a tracking number that doesn't exist in the post office.
The clothing has very poor quality. They sell there clothing that is damage. The return policy is the worst policy I ever seen in my life. The workers are rude and dont offer any type of help. They play really loud music with profanity and sexual content. Im never shopping at papaya again!
Clothes are of cheap material, like buying off wish. Tried calling the 323# and no one ever picks up. Had to resort to email even then it took 3 days for them to respond. They sent wrong sizes without tags. I had to pay to return the items and to top it off only received half what I paid for all the items. Why did I have to pay to ship back your mistake and still only received partial credit for items I didn't even try on because they sent the wrong size? Buy at your own discretion. IF you read all the factual bad reviews just heed warning. I purchased almost $200 in items and had to return almost half the items due to incorrect size and not true to size. If I would have known what horrible return policy they had I would never had ordered so much at one time.
I bought a shirt on line from papaya and when it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture of the shirt that I had bought. They make it extremely difficult for you to return their products. I contacted customer service 3 different times requesting a return slip and have had absolutely no response. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from this company again and will warn everyone I know to stay away from them. Customer service is appalling

Great clothing love the clothing but hate the return policy. I never heard of a store where once you buy it you can get a refund back. What happens during the holidays when people wanna buy gifts and for other people or even birthday gifts and it doesn't fit you going to say to cash refund? Also how can you only five 14 days for store credit.
I ordered 4 tops. They only could fulfill 3 of them. Out of the 3 I could only keep 1 due to poor sizing. Their sizing is incredibly off. They offerd only $14 back on a $75 order. I do not recommend this company at all. Thier return policy states for any reason yet they will not accept my return.

This is by far the worst company I have ever delt with. I received the wrong style of dress and as other people have said, they don't want it returned. They offer a small refund to keep it. I refused the offers twice then when I received the third offer and still wanted to return it they said the shipping is very expensive. When I asked why it would cost so much, they said the returns go to their Dubai warehouse. They advertise that their clothes are made in South Carolina. Now I am stuck with a dress of poor quality that doesn't fit and is not the style I ordered. I will definitely check Google reviews before I order on line again.

I purchased 5 items on line because the pictures looked nice. The clothes were made strangely and didn't fit right. The material was thin and cheap. No problem. Their website said they could be returned for a refund. But there were no refund slips in my package. I emailed and heard back from customer service that they could give me $66 back on a $250 order and I can keep the clothes. I told them I didn't want the clothes. I wanted to return them and get my money back. They didn't want the clothes back, but they kept upping the offer of refund money like we were in some negotiation. Very bizarre. Ia' e mailed them back and gave Pappya a tracking number as they asked. I don't have high hopes.

I purchased a 2 piece outfit that was cute online. I received the outfit and it was a very cheap flimsy material, not at all like the "jersey material" in the description. I immediately requested a return label via email. They emailed me back offering $7 and I keep the item. I declined and requested a return label again. They emailed me back offering $10 and I keep item. I declined and requested a return label. They emailed me back offering $16 and I keep the item. I emailed them again with a screen shot of their 30 Day return policy stating they accept returns for quality issues only & let them know I'm aware the clothes aren't made in the US as their website states because whomever shipped my item didn't cover the Asian shipping label and this is fraud and false advertising. I am beyond disappointed in the quality of item & they way they are handling my request for a refund. Do not order anything from them

As far as the management staff is very lack luster hold employees pay check and refuse to pay for service render. The accounting department in california is the worst and make all types of excuse not to pay workers whenever the decided to move on from this crappy company and management staff. Employee was rude, her name is I think Michele at Springfield, Alexandria store on September 29, after 7pm, no courtesy, not helpful locating or finding if available. By the way it was our first time ever shopping at this store. I heard about it so much nice things about quality and price. The cashier before this lady was very nice and helpful. I hate to use the color language, the girl with polie and courtesy was the young short black, the mean one was white if I remember her name again is Michele
I ordered 2 tops and never received them. I've tried to track package and it says label is created, still waiting USPS pickup. 20 days since I ordered and No response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. YOU WONT GET YOUR PACKAGE OR YOUR MONEY BACK.

The Papaya in Orlando (Vineland) outlet HAS VERY RUDE MANAGERS AND THE PLACE IS FULL OF MOLD. THEY EXPECT THEIR EMPLOYEES TO EAT IN A TIGHT SPACE FULL OF MOLD. THEY STILL ARE DOING PAPER CHECKS WHICH IS REDUCULOUS AND OUR CHECKS WERE LATE. THE MERCHANDISE IS CHEAP AND THE POLICY IS NO REFUNDS. I WOULD'VE RECOMMEND ANYONE TO WORK THERE NOR SHOP THERE.

This is just one of my favorites online store :) the clothing is so cute and cheap. The shipping was very fast
I purchased a jacket and wore it 1x. While wearing the jacket it ripped along the seam. It's very clear that it was poorly seen and quality is absolute crap. I went into the store and they said I had to call corporate customer service. Upon calling customer service they told me I have to contact the store manager of the store I purchased it from. Corporate were just as ignorant and rude.
So with that I called there. The store manager at WILLOW GROVE MALL in PA was the worse manager that I have ever come across in retail. She was cursing and belittling everything that I said. She was rude, ignorant and very disrespectful to me. I told her that I understand store policy and FINAL SALE. She said obviously you don't understand or you wouldn't be calling. I said I most certainly understand if what I don't understand is that I wore the jacket one time so now I am out $$$ and a jacket and her response was "yup".
I will never ever shop with this company again.
