I'm an author who recently used PaperTrue for typesetting my book. It was a complete disaster. Missed Deadlines: They were weeks behind schedule, with no clear communication or updates. Apparently, PaperTrue offers services at relatively lower price, compared to those of others. The overall qualities of my recent edited manuscript are acceptable. But their customer service is good. I requested a change of the delivery date, and everything was easier than what I expected.
There are a number of errors made by an English editor. It seems to me that there are two editors editing my manuscript. One of them incorrectly edited the reference list. However, as the price is relatively low comparing to other English-editing services, this is acceptable [at this price].
I had a final paper that I wanted to make sure sounded good with little grammar errors and needed it in apa 7 format. I needed it back within 24 hours. The payment process was pretty easy. Uploading the paper and getting a quote was easy as well. I received my paper early which was awesome. I had two papers sent to me one with the errors written out so I could see what they changed and the other paper was the other paper was the final draft with all corrections added. My issue with this service is that they did not use apa 7 format in the paper. Before you submit your paper you can tell them what you want done to your paper. I told them that I needed my paper apa 7 edition format, they used an out dated edition, so I had to do the formatting myself, which was one of the reasons I paid for this service.
There was some helpful input on how to improve things and the correction suggestions were of a high standard. Many thanks for the great work.
Papertrue has a user friendly website that allows me to quickly & easily submit my manuscript, one chapter at a time, as I can afford to do so.). When I stipulated that I need an editor with Biblical knowledge who is skilled in editing end-rhyme poetry with a specific syllable count per line, they found the perfect editor, Debrah Tyler. And, as per my request, they send each chapter to that same editor (to assure consistency). I am completely satisfied.
It is important for me to have an editor who is skilled in editing narrative poetry, and whose Biblical knowledge is a step above. Paper True found the perfect editor for me.
Since I can't afford to edit my entire manuscript, 135K words, at once, it is wonderful that I can send just one chapter at a time. MY editor(s), Debrah Tyler (and Selena), are great. 2. PaperTrue claims that they issued a refund. This is not true. After a long series of emails communication, PaperTrue finally agrees to refund 15% of my money, on the condition that I remove all negative online comments about them.
Stay away from PaperTrue. This is a company located in Singapore. The editors may not be native speakers! I guess this is how they make money: send you low-quality service, and refund 15% if you complain. They will keep the 85%!

I placed an order after trying their free sample. However, the one who edited the full article is not the one who worked on the free sample. And the full article is edited in a very careless way. She only did minor changes, and she kept changing my words in a very inconsistent way. For example, I wrote "the investor only invests up to 10% of her total capital...". She kept changing "her" to "their". Even I knew that "investor" and "their" are inconsistent! The editor kept changing "her" to "their" in several places. I do not think my draft is "revised" after their service. There is a reason that I paid extra money to get a faster service. However, I have to wait for another 24 hours to hear from their editing team. That doesn't mean they will revise it in 24 hours. That just means that they will respond to my request. I am very unhappy with PaperTrue.
To follow up: the editing team insists that they did a great job. Even though the editor change "her" to "their" in eight places. They insist that their work is correct because they have a lot of "good reviews" online. Does it mean that you can do whatever you want when you have a lot of good reviews? After several rounds of email communication, they agree to offer 15% refund. I guess that is how you make money: did a $#*!ty job, and steal 85% of the payment.
To follow up: I was trying to dispute through my bank, and I found that the charge goes to Singapore. Now I know why my draft is done in such a poor way: it might not be even be edited by a native speaker!

Do not trust their free sample. Your draft will be edited by a different person. And the quality is not guaranteed at all.
I am applying for medical school and working full-time. There are so many essays involve in applying to 22 school.
This website is a blessing. With my schedule, I can spend a night or two writing essays and in 24 hours or less. It will be edited. They do grammar, syntax, punctuation, but I was really impress on how they capture my thoughts and improved the vocabulary of my paper.
