This website is not as scam as the other reviewer had commented, just the opposite. The service weeds out the scam parts vendors (there are many) and connects you with trusted suppliers. I was contacted immediately after sending out a parts request by a supplier who had the exact hard to find part I was looking for.
These guys are like Xometry, they do not manufacture parts. They charge you for parts with a huge mark up and get some garage guy with a machine to make you your parts and pay them pennies, find a reliable machine shop and work with them, you will be better off. And you know that the parts will be correct and fit properly, these guys need to be stopped. They put good manufacture out of business or get stuff from china...

As soon as I paid the $3.99, my phone began blowing up. Not only have I been asked the same questions over and over (which are on the form I filled out), all of the calls are from strongly accented folks. I have no issue with that, however, they are no where near the price they should be. I'll be disputing the charge on my card and blocking phone numbers for the next several days I'm sure. I called the company directly and was told that they don't have anything to do with other parties calling me? Now that is some fine customer service. Let's not call it a scam as they may actually send you an over priced part for your vehicle. We will just call it a rip-off instead.
Appears to be a scam. They charge for a parts request with a guarantee that you will receive at least two 'responses' in XX hours. I paid and received two spam emails. I called both and they said yes they get the requests from partrequest.com, but they don't sell those parts. I went to partrequest.com to claim the refund and their site returns a "Page does not exist." (404) error when I click on the Refund link. I sent them an email that I will file a reversal of charges with my bank if I didn't get a reply from them. Sounds/looks like a scam so far.

I called PartsRequest.com spoke to Alan and Frank. Both reps. Were not helpful, very rude, had no details or information about any parts I asked for even though the parts are listed on the website as available. Best part is when I began asking for other listed parts they hung up on me.
Called for a part for my Honda and while they knew what I was talking about, when they started to give me a price, I mentioned it was a bit high, they got uppity and told me "well if you need it, you need it, if not have a nice day". Needless to say I didn't buy it there...
I'm looking for rear fenders for an '80s F150 the only response I've gotten is for modern '08-'16 front. Absolute waste of time and $4.00. I'm going to chalk up the money to lesson learned and never use them again.
They take your 4 bucks, have 2 companies email you, when you contact the companies with the part your looking for, they say, we'll get back to you... they never do.
Forces you to create and account with all of your personal information, to then charge you for submitting a parts request. I ended up paying 8$ for a request only for there to be no parts in stock.
Made a request for a 1994 common car alternator and got only 3 quotes. All from out of state. Was expecting so much more for the $$.
Dont even bother with this, got absolutly nothing out of them. They did not even know that i wasted 4 bucks on this service.
Got Scammed by one of their Third Party sellers. But they refunded my $3.99. In the meantime I'm out $350.00. Thanks for nothing.
STAY AWAY!
Site is definitely a scam. My experience mirrors that of Ken n. Stay far, far away
