They seem to really care about your event and getting you what you would like. When comparing shopping Amazon or other stores this is the place. They have the best product and price as well as great customer service! I ordered a product through this website, and when I needed to change the size of an item I ordered, there was no way to do so without incurring additional undisclosed expense. I realized immediately after placing the order that the size would be wrong, but there was no way to modify the order through my account. I tried the text, chat, and call options to customer service and could not get in contact with anyone. Overnight my order shipped. I finally got through to someone via phone the next morning while the chat and text were still not working. They said my only option was to return the package at my own expense. The website does not disclose up front that you would have to pay to return an item. I said that I purposely ordered additional products to be over a $59 purchase price and receive free shipping, so I would expect the company to also cover the cost of return. They said they have no way to do that. I don't think it's ethical for a company to operate online if they don't have any way to help online customers when there is a problem with their order.

So I ordered my stepdaughters graduation picture to be printed on the big heads or whatever it's called. I'm not 100% sure and today the order came in and it was a child that I had never seen before in my life clearly not female clearly not Hispanic. I contacted customer service. I contacted corporate office and their response which I am going to post the pictures that I received and the response that I received they are claiming that they will only accommodate me 20% refund because they don't feel that there was anything wrong with the photos? They are simply giving me the 20% because I put a complaint pretty much there's everything wrong with this photo it's not submitted. It's not my stepdaughter this poor family isn't gonna receive their order and I'm sure they're gonna hassle them as a hassle me I should be entitled for a full refund and they should give me the proper item that I put.

Ordered one costume on their website, off-season for a class, prepaid for pickup, only to have 6 fraudulent charges posted immediately on the credit card used right after. Their website or way of processing is NOT SECURE. My costume was cheaper online at $20, but $25 off the shelf at the store. Reporting the fraudulent charges totalling close to $2000 on my credit card, getting the compromised card cancelled, and ordering new card and waitin for it may not be worth the $5 saving at all. The only good thing about Party City may be that they have the things that you need when you need them. But as a business, there should be safeguards in place to be able to do business securely and protect its consumers from being exposed to fraud. Hope they can address this going forward.

I wanted to buy item #851-2779 Plastic Rat. Website for Gloucester store shows 5 on hand. They have zero on hand. I drove 1/2 hour there and 1/2 hour back. Disappointing.

I spoke to sales associate and he indicated that this is a halloween item and has been packed up until next Halloween. OK, but inventory still shows on website. This is poor.
It was my son's 16th Birthday. So I asked for Number 1 and Number 6 balloons with helium. We were still in the store when the Number 1 burst. They gave me new one without charging extra. I went to the restaurant to decorate, the Number 6 burst. I immediately went to the store, but they were closed. Then I went to Dollar store. There I found it cheaper with better quality. Next day I went to PartyCity Store explaining what happened. The manager said that they are not responsible for anything happened out of the store. I totally understand. But I also understood that their quality is very very cheap.
Purchased a large foil "20" and 12 birthday balloons. All deflated less than 24 hours after picking up. And spending. 100$. Thanks for ruining a great birthday.
The invoice below shows price for balloons apparently you pay extra for air now. Because I didn't before. Buy balloon air comes in it. And my husband paid another 38$ at Canadian Tire check out when the girl who called me said he could pay at Party City. It was a total mess. And waste of money and time. When the economy is the way it is, put some substance behind your product. This was a total waste of money I could have just gave my daughter 100$ instead of balloons. Next Time.

I went to party city to get balloons for my moms birthday. Empolyee working there was very unhelpful. He was rude and charged me for things I didn't buy. Manager got me a refund but I will never be returning here.
It is time to put this place out of business. My 5 year old son purchased a costume with his own money, which fell apart the first few minutes he wore it. When I called customer service to exchange it for him with a non defective one, I was told it was impossible. The person offered to give a 20 percent discount, however my son just wanted a costume he could wear, not a useless pile of fabric. Way to go party city, you burned a 5 year old. Do not buy from this store, let it die the death it deserves.

I bought a balloon set, 15 in a pack, also paid the balloon fee for them, $1.04 per balloon to be blown up, and scheduled the pickup yesterday. By the time I got to the hospital to celebrate my father's birthday, the balloons started deflating! It was only a 10 minute drive! When I looked at the balloons I could feel the helium leaking out and there was clear tape on them as if they were broken at the time of them filling the balloons the Dollar store has better quality balloons! I'm definitely NOT coming back to Party city. Unbelievable.

Spent over 25.00 for balloons. In less than 12 hours they were all flat, with the exception of one. Staff is unfriendly and very inexperienced. Better to drive down to Chesterfield Township. Port Huron Store employees are incompetent.
I ordered custom invites and it said give up to 5 days at warehouse if you are getting something custom which is fine by me. It has been 6 days and I havent seen anything about them being shipped out yet and I spent over $50 on these and needed them for the end of this month! Hopefully they get sent out soon! Takes customer service long to email back plus from other reviews I hear if you call its just all robot voices! I dont mind the store, but probably wont order online again.
I have placed an order on feb 26 2018 jars for my wedding and they arrive broken is now May 1st and I cant get a decent response about the items that need to be replaced. Waste of time calling the customer service line because they just keep redirecting your call to a different department. And you don't even deserve an star
I love the variety of items party city carries. I sometimes find their prices to be a little expensive, but there's usually always a sale or something. I've ordered many things online and they've always arrived really quickly.
Not very happy with Party City online site. I ordered supplies for Christmas on 12/6. The site has been saying "in transit" since then. I have contacted the company many times, they were polite, but basically said you just have to wait, it will be delivered. At this point, who needs Christmas paper products after Christmas? I ordered everything online this year from groceries to gifts, etc. This is literally the only package that did not come in time. The items will be "returned to sender" if it ever arrives. Of course, my credit card has been charged since 12/6! I would go to my local Party City when Covid is under control, but I will not order from Party City online in the future.

I am so not a fan of this store. They refused to take back unopened and unused items "because halloween is over" but fail to tell you this policy when you purchase several items prior to halloween. They also really push email notifications on customers and only very recently did they start complying with federal legislation requiring unsubscribe options. Customers are treated very poorly by this company, which suggests they should have none. I spent hundreds at birthdays and celebrations. NO MORE.
