PayActiv has caused me nothing but financial stress with their repeated payroll deduction errors. While they claim to promote "financial wellness," their actions say otherwise. Over the past few months, they've deducted funds multiple times for the same Earned Wage Access (EWA) transactions, resulting in overdraft fees and penalties.
Some key examples include:
*July 2024: A $206.98 deduction on 07/25 took weeks to resolve.
*August 2024: Deductions of $401.94 and $274.96 on consecutive paychecks for overlapping transactions.
*November 2024: On 11/21, they charged me $274.47 again for transactions already deducted on 11/14.
I've reached out to their customer service numerous times and filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, yet the issues persist. These mistakes have not only cost me financially but also eroded my trust in PayActiv.
If you're considering PayActiv, be prepared for potential errors that could harm your finances. They need to do much better in providing transparency and accountability.
